These pictures are very old. Some hard winters since. Parking is awful and full of locals or tradesmen so need to find a spot elsewhere. Communication is non-existent.

Very nice location parking very restricted to 5 vehicles maybe 6 at a push if you have a big work van get there early

Very poorly maintained rooms. Long over due a fit out. Tatty furniture and the bath panel was completely rotten. Housekeeping needs quite a shake up. Stained pillow cases, clogged bath with hair and mould on the windows. Obviously care isn't taken when cleaning the rooms.

Very expensive for what you get there. Air conditioning broken for a long time Very small poor quality breakfast Staff are very friendly but don't have the ability to do a lot. Rooms are clean and plenty of space But after a number of stays there work related definitely better just down the road.

Looks a little rundown from the outside, but a very surprising experience inside, room was well appointed and ensuite was nice too

The Hotel is ideally situated for the local bars and restaurants. The staff are kind and attentive. The breakfast certainly beats the chains (premier inn, holiday inn etc). The trouble is the absolute state of the building. The ceiling tiles are mouldy with almost stalactites coming down. The rooms have broken fittings such as door hinges walls and failed electrical equipment. The beds are like cardboard. With a deep clean and some basic repairs this would be a good hotel. Some investment is needed before some form of health establishment takes the decision for them.

The breakfast was the worst breakfast I've ever had sausage wasn't cooked egg was all gooey it's not a English breakfast grrr , room was cold no hdmi on the TV

Pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was as it looked a bit shabby from the outside. Room and facilities were great but only issue was with the heating as the room was a bit cold but when I turned the thermostat on there was a continuous beeping from the fan which didn't stop until the heating was turned off so I had to make a choice of either being cold or constant beeping. Breakfast was ok with a choice of full English or toast or cereals.

Stayed here many times. Lovely place, lovely staff
