Safeguarding support regarding criminal court cases involving fellow students does not exist when it is crucial, with dangerous and harmful assumptions being made about things they do not know anything about and therefore reducing safeguarding proceeders when they are needed (like locking doors and being supportive to victims), adding further worry on top of my University course failings (which NPTC should not be teaching), meaning ultimately less support and protection. ASD support is not adequate either for university level courses, with NO OPTION FOR EXTRA TIME WHICH IS LEGALLY REQUIRED UNDER THE EQUALITY ACT 2010, they will talk down to ALN students like they are children without offering anything useful. I think NPTC were too ambitious in running such courses at their FE campus. The police system here is a joke as well with over 23,000 criminals getting away with not going to jail due to a lack of room (announced recently on the news), so I am very excited to study abroad in a kinder and more civilised society 😁 which has far fewer cases of failing it’s citizens.

I did a certificate program there in hydraulic and pneumatic system engineering back in 2005. Excellent facility and supportive lecturers.

College has repeatedly made mistakes. One being not putting my name down to sit an exam even though I had been studying the course for a year, causing me to have to redo the whole course again the next year. Our main teacher often leaves class for up to 20minutes in that time we are unable to find them when needed, I am aware that sometimes they are teaching 2 classes at once which makes us behind and often unable to find them when needed, because the course I was doing involve a few risks, I feel like we should also be supervised during our practical which we are often not. Tutors cannot be at 2 places at once, this could become a real safety issue. Work often seems rushed and finish times for classes constantly change, often with no warning before hand which makes it a nightmare to plan lifts and travel home.

I've studied here, wish I could go back to be honest, easy to make friends and most of the teachers are lovely. Food and coffees here are also very delicious

Great place for further education, I'm a student during covid and the tutors are doing an alright job in keeping us up to date. The college is a great atmosphere and is quite quiet on days, food is alright ig but I did get food poisoning after eating a panini from there.

Frankly, I couldn't tell what portions of the building were old or new. the aethetic maintenance of every building baring the entrance to A block made it look incredibly 70s. Don't even get me started on all of the stains found in the D-block resource room. A fresh coat of paint and a bit of discipline could make this place look much more appealing. Otherwise, it provides a halfway decent avenue of learning. Better than afan anyways.

Disgusting way to treat a teacher after 20 years service.

Great teachers. Good canteen. Although parking can be an issue and the building is run down.

I can say that as a student of NPTC Group Of Colleges, they have excellent 1st class facilities that equip students with the essential skills that they will need in life. I highly recommend NPTC Group of Colleges, due to the high number of courses you have available and help with finance or if you have any struggles with your course there is plenty of help available regarding any query you have.

In 2016 I did an Hnc course in computers.. I was doing quite well, passing the course work and had no reason to withdraw.. Then due to unforseen circumstances i had to withdraw due to health reasons.. I gave the lecturer notice of my withdrawal via email. I assumed he would communicate and withdraw me from course due to my health.. (More fool me) Well fast forward to 2018 and I have had a bill through post, from student finance wales for £1100 pounds. Which is amount for the full year of the course. I find it totally unfair/unresonable having only been on course for three months.. I have also said i am willing to pay for first semester ... I have tried to resolve this issue for over two months now.. Its a shame ive had to resort to this.. But I just wanted to warn other students to be careful.. Because they will take your money and run.. And dont seem to care especially as I wasnt fit enough due to health reasons to finish course and now I have nothing to show for it but a big bill. Please be careful when thinking of going to neath college there may be better options available..

I have been to Blasus several times with my friends and have been pleased. This changed last Monday when we came for Xmas lunch. We were very disappointed as the food for the 5 of us was cold throughout. We all had different meats and we were given 1 tureen of 2 vegetables between the 5 of us. No new potatoes, no sprouts, no swede. I could go on. The Christmas pudding was some sort of a chocolate sponge, not what I call Xmas pudding. The staff did their best but it was a dismal meal. Whether we will go again is debatable.

We have been several times to Blasus for lunch and have never been disappointed. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I had steak which was tender and delicious, followed by mouth watering sticky toffee pudding, my favourites. The rest of the party were pleased with their meals. The waiting staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. I must mention Ben and Hans as they made our lunch such fun. Thank you boys. We will be coming here for a Christmas lunch and know it will be of the best quality.

We booked this restaurant lunch for 5 of us to have a Christmas lunch and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant had a great ambience, and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming from the management right down to the girls and boys who served us with humour and efficiency, The food was delicious and we enjoyed the starters and mains which included a turkey dinner, salmon and pork and apple en croute. We opted for a dessert of Christmas pudding which was served with extra sauce as requested! we will certainly come again.

Been to this restaurant a few times and always had great food and the service from the trainees is a delight. They really try very hard to be efficient and, if you approach it as their training exercise, it is enjoyable. Always been served by different young people who are closely supervised by the training staff and always they, the students, seem to be intent on doing it right. The food is cooked by trainees also but overseen by professional chefs and you can tell because the quality is very good. Thoroughly recommended.

Many years since I visited the college training restaurant but obviously the high standard has been maintained. Our festive lunch was superb and our young waiter absolutely delightful and eager to please. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. By the way don't forget to visit the onsite bakery shop on your way out.

We went as a group of eleven people for a festive lunch. There was a good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian meals. The food was well presented, well cooked and served by young first year catering students who were all very smart and very keen to get it right. The price for eleven three course meals which includes coffee to finish was £175...couldn't fault it.

Drove 20 miles only to find out I had been given wrong meal when I got home.Don't take cards. What's the point of phoning you to report error. Order should have been right in the first place. Couldn't drive another 36 miles for replacement.

I absolutely love this place, I've never had a bad meal here ever, in all the years I've been eating here. Staff are lush as always, food was amazing as always. The atmosphere is like being at home with your family eating.

Quality food at a very reasonable price! The ribeye steak is amazing here, I have had it many times and it had always been delicious! Amazing job on the Halloween decorations 👍

Pretty standard Premier Inn, but worth noting it does seem like it had a recent update. All the rooms were modern enough, had everything you’d expect for a budget hotel, we were even given free creme eggs on check-in for Easter! Rooms were a smidge hot, with the air-con unit only going as low as 19c and the window not opening, but not a deal breaker at all. Given its location, just off the m4 and next to a pub, we didn’t hear a single whisper the entire weekend we stayed.
