Local and friendly traditional chippy, not many of these kind around nowadays. Chips were good quality and portion size was generous. Service was nice and quick. Only downside is they are cash only, which nowadays is a bit inconvenient, though it is probably due to transaction costs with card payments.

Food and service is always consistently excellent at this well run gem of a chippy!

The battered sausages are great. The southern fried chicken was great but as you add more, the cost per piece doesn't reduce which is weird, and you also don't get a dip with it. The curry sauce was disgusting, avoid.

Very bad experience. I went there for pickup delivery app shows me order should be ready at 3.07 I asked their staff after 3.07 they told me it will take 5-6 minutes after that I asked again then they told me it will take 1-2 minutes more then after 3 minutes I asked again and now they told me 7-8 minutes more then their favourite driver comes in and put long wait in system who waited for delivery outside on their bike this all incident takes 30 minutes more to give me order i was on just eat delivery so i can’t cancel at that time there is no customer available so it should be prepared but their staff was smiling and chatting each other rather than taking care of order. So please think when you place order if it came to their favourite driver then you will get it at time other then it will take time and in all this incident their staff was laughing.

Had a delivery which was on tu.e, however, fish was stuck to the paper and definitely overcooked while the chips were soggy and undercooked. Battered sausage was tasty but warm and not hot.

Initally told us the food was arriving at 7:30pm and it didn’t arrive until 7:51pm

Ordered my elderly mother a delivery and it did not turn up but said delivered. £26 wasted and no food .

This chippy deserves an outstanding review at the best of times, not only are their morsels fresh,tasty & delicious, there was a mix up with my order & they prepared another order, to enjoy our usual fishy Friday!Thanks guys, it is much appreciated.

Good service at the fish and chips shop includes friendly, efficient staff and quick service. The food is fresh, with crispy, golden batter on the fish and perfectly cooked chips, accompanied by traditional sides like mushy peas and tartar sauce. Overall, I’ve had a delightful experience.

The food we get from The Blue Oyster fish and chips shop are fabulous and very tasty. Even though the courier has quite bit to travel to deliver to our home, the food is always still piping hot

Just picked up Cod and Chips. I saw the fryer hand one cod direct to the person on the till and 2 other pieces of cod was taken from the warm counter. I didn't think much of the cod that was given directly but when my wife and daughter had it was slimey and felt sick. I don't know why I was given that single piece of cod differently from the other 2 Pieces. The staff know me there and have a good rapport. So I will ask them so they know who wrote this review. If a customer pays the advertised price then they should not be given food that may not be right for consumption. The other 2 pieces of cod were OK. Do the staff there think customers don't know any difference? Well my wife use to run her own Chippy up North!

This driver phone me to say he was outside, and thought that I need to leave my home in bare feet and walk across the mud and bushes in the dark to collect my delivery so he could stay in the park on his bike, this not the first time he has been so rude.

It has become habit that driver does not know the route to come or they have 2 deliverey so by the time we get the food it cold this 2nd time its happened. NOT HAPPY WITH JUST EAT DRIVERS

Take a large open wallet, fish chips peas curry sauce just about everything has increased in price ridiculously, less than a year ago only a few months in fact fish was well under £8 Now £9.50 i know cost of living has increased but this is well over the top now, shame because its nice food but getting too much of a luxury compared with different take aways in the area

Driver took my food to the other side of Wembley before delivering my order so got cold food. The standard of the chips has severly declined recently. Used to get lots of plump chips but now you'd be lucky. Lots of smaller, scraggy end chips not helped by being delivered cold.

The wooden spoons with the ice-cream weren't adequate. But the food itself, both the fish, saveloy as well as the chips, were very niece. Please do include more salt and vinegar sachets, the next time we order with you.

When ordering the fish and chips, there's no need to ask if you want another set of chips. I like my ice-cream but some in our household don't like chocolate.

Very busy on Fridays. But the quality has always been 10/10. The price justifys the food because it is always tasty. I have been visiting blue oyster for now over 19 years and it in the top 3 chip shops around the Borough of Brent and Harrow. The consistency is always the same and just make sure you order in advance to avoid waiting in queue. Overall I highly recommend others to visit because they are far better than skip Jack's.

The meat on the ribs was very hard. The fish for the cod and chips was small. The chips weren't fresh and needed salt and vinegar. I was wiling to buy these as separate sachets but these weren't available on their site. I paid 50p each to have four tarte sauces but instead received four tomato sauce sachets.

The quality of the fish at Blue Oyster has really deteriorated in the past few months. It used to be very good Haddock. Now often greasy, not very thick and poor value for money. Chips were okay but too many small 'scrag ends'. Disappointing. I wouldn't rush to order again. Been poor too many times now.

Amazing. 10/10. Good crispy cod, chips are nice, curry sauce is exactly what I was after, saveloy perfect. The homemade chilli sauce is another 10/10.

Was looking forward to eating in, until i was told we do not accept card payment, strictly cash only. Running a business in London not accepting card as payment is unheard of. Sounds to me as they are not fully declaring to HMRC. Guess il be taking my business elsewhere.

Came here from South London enroute to visit someone in hospital. The shop did not accept contactless and demanded cash. In this day an age it's ludicrous to ask for cash only considering how easy it is to setup for contactless. The only conclusions one can draw from their desire for cash only is that it could be motivsted for neferious reasons.

You never delivered my meal I hat to pick it up myself after waiting an hour for you to assign a driver, which was still showing when I got back home. I will not use you again and will pick my own food up in future
