Came here with family and everything was amazing. The food was great. The staff are so friendly and polite. They even warned us on how spicy the food that we ordered was. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the future.

The two starters came out after 45 minutes with mains coming out over 40 minutes after that. At this point we were all starving. The food was good however we pointed out when ordering that one of the diners was allergic to peas and we were assured that would be taken care of. When the food arrived the rice they had ordered had peas in it which was very disappointing considering the time we had waited as well as their allergy not being noted. Overall, we won’t be visiting again as the service was poor with no indication when the food would be arriving.

Quiet place. food was okay ! they accommodated us well even if they were nearing to the closing time

I can’t recommend the Thai food. The pad Thai I had was very oily and didn’t taste authentic. Service was fine. Free parking outside restaurant

Tried thai curry and rice quantity was on the higher side, taste was good. Service was good. Price wise it was a bit expensive. They have the policy of each should order one main course on a non sharing basis, considering the quantity they serve this policy can be changed to avoid waste of food

Had a meal on 16th June for my husbands 80th birthday, with my family. Lovely food we all had. Two really nice young men serving us. Very nice surroundings. Definitely recommend this restaurant. We will all be going again. An absolute pleasure being there .

Nice restaurant but we didn’t particularly enjoy our Thai food. We usually go to a Thai restaurant rather than a mix of Indian & Thai. The portions were excellent & presented well but it wasn’t authentic enough for us. The staff were very friendly & attentive. Maybe we should have chose to have Indian food instead.

Horrible experience, thought initially I won't review but thinking that if I won't share my experience it's not fair ...we went there yesterday for dinner and the person whom we were attended by was very rude,poor customer service and his attitude was unbearable made our day bad,will never ever recommend this place to anyone, he is in a profession where he should treat every one good but the way he dealt was so bad.....food also came very late,he didn't come once to let us know that it's going to be late ,after waiting for long we had to ask him, that is thoroughly unprofessional......I hope he never repeat this and be true to his profession as that matters a lot....people go out with friends, family to have a good vibe, but our was negative, I wish we went somewhere else....Will never go to this place.

I would just like to start off by saying this was the best Indian food I’ve EVER had. The service was absolutely amazing, our waiter was so polite and attentive, stocking up our drinks and the food was incredible. The salmon tikka masala was incredible. So flavourful and the virgin mojito was delicious. My partner had chicken jalfrezi and I tried some too it was just delicious. I simply cannot fault the service or food this is a true hidden gem. We are visiting the area and would definitely come back just for this food! To all the staff at blue orchid thankyou so much for being so kind and the chefs are very talented! A must try!!!

The food and service were excellent. A group of ten of us dined. We had both Thai and Indian dishes and everyone enjoyed their meal. Staff were quick with the drinks and the food. The restaurant doesn’t look much from the outside but don’t let that put you off. The food is excellent. All round good value

When requesting Madras hot it was not spicy but very salty making it unedible

Good food and polite staff. However, we ordered our food on the website at about 6.15pm to pick it up at 8pm. I even got a call to confirm this, but when I arrived it wasn't ready and waited around 15 mins for it, which is way longer than I'd have expected when they had so long to prepare.

Top notch food and service. I would unreservedly recommend this to all. The service is second to none. Decor and ambience is top quality.

Thai curry is basically a blind spot! It's really delicious, and Butter Chiken is also delicious in Indian cuisine. For other Indian dishes, those who are afraid of spicy food need to pay attention to the chili symbol on the menu, but they all taste really good. And the service attitude is very, very good, the price is not expensive, and there is even a free parking space. Thai curry is a safe bet! It's really delicious, and the Butter Chicken in Indian cuisine is also very tasty. For other Indian dishes, those who are sensitive to spice should pay attention to the chilli symbols on the menu, but the flavors are indeed superb. Moreover, the service is extremely good, the prices are reasonable, and there's even free parking available.

Ordered a takeaway tonight and collected from the restaurant. A mixture of Thai and Indian food and all the dishes were fantastic! There is always consistency, quality and quantity and will be visiting again! Family members that had never been to the restaurant before were really impressed. The staff yet again were absolutely awesome, really friendly and accommodating whilst we had a drink whilst waiting for the food which was within the time provided! :-)

Amazing restaurant with amazing staff. The food is a wonderful offering of both Thai and Indian cuisine. The customer service was outstanding. The food is lovingly prepared by both authentic Thai and Indian chefs. The only downside is that we live in London and so too far to visit as often as we would like!

Ate Indian cuisine on a Saturday evening - other places further in city centre were fully booked. It's great here, they deserve a higher rating in my opinion. The indoor ambience defies the building's exterior. Don't be put off by its location. Service is good and food is very tasty. Clean and welcoming.

Ordered the Tom Kai soup and that was amazing but then moved o to the Pad sE ew and it’s basically so sticky I can hardly separate the noodle and it seems to be lacking in any kind of juice or flavour. All I taste is the oil on the fried tofu. Shame as the soup was a strong start.

The dishes are good, well cooked and tasty. The service is also ok, although I think they could be more friendly, I had the impression they just didn’t care that much.

In Coventry for a week on business and this place was so nice visited twice! Great food, good prices and the best staff - don’t hesitate visit this restaurant and you’ll enjoy

Ordered from here a few times now, and it seems to be a decent Thai place. The battered veg starter could do with being crisper, so would recommend the sweetcorn patties instead. Decent website ordering and polite delivery folk.

We were in Coventry for the weekend and saw this restaurant serves Thai and Indian cuisine so we thought we would try it and WOW. The food was incredible, my husband said it was the best Madras he had EVER had, I had a yellow Thai curry which was delicious. The food was faultless and so was the service, especially from Jay. We will definitely be coming back up from London to eat here. If you haven't tried this place, you really should.

Ordered from here twice, last night being the most recent. Superb fresh food both times, lovely seafood. We look forward to future orders and dining in person in future.

I was at blue orchid for my birthday dinner. The food was average but a few days later, i received a parking ticket. I had parked in the restaurant premises and was shocked because no one at the restaurant mentioned a thing about parking. I reqched out to the restaurant but they were unwilling to assist in resolving the issue despite having a receipt and bank statement showing expenses made at the restaurant on the said day. I have had to pay a lot more due to their nonchalance.

Absolutely superb the food was quickly served, hot and delicious. The menu is varied and imaginative. And the portions were a good size. However, what made it even better were he attentive staff, pleasant and genuinely fun to talk to. Well done. Highly recommended.

Fab fab fab the best indian ever 10/10 just the round the corner from the ramada , we had drinks starters & popadams chutney tray and mains and it was exquisite you won't go wrong here :)

Lovely Thai food with a good, efficient service and good atmosphere on a busy pre-Christmas Friday night. This is one place that can always be relied on to deliver good quality.

I went for a Christmas dinner with work colleagues. The service was on the very high standards, the food was really good served for everyone in the same time, which I really appreciate. I can still feel the taste of amazing and spicy Tom Som salad and Tom Yum soup. I was impressed of this place. Really , really good. I recommend this place , 5 stars from me. If you like Indian, Thai, Asian food - visit this place.

I love the Massaman curry with Tofu I cannot get enough of this curry especially paired with the coconut rice. I wish they did juices to go with them but the food is so great. Thank you Blue Orchid.

Went here for a meal as a couple. The service was excellent, very friendly and polite staff and the service was fast. We ordered popadoms to start then a veggie green curry with coconut rice as a main. I didn’t think the rice tasted of coconut but other than that the food was good. The green curry was fairly spicy considering it is listed as mild.

I ordered delivery and it was tasteless. We both got phad graprow, the chicken was insanely dry and nothing was seasoned at all. We had to add seasonings ourself. One of the worst takeaways I’ve had in a long time.

A very nice Thai and Indian selection at a restaurant that's generally a hidden gem tucked away just out of the main town centre. Everytime I've been there has been quiet (in the sense of, there's groups there but no rowdiness) which makes for a good setting for a get together. Prices are reasonable too and service is okay.

If you have an allergy or food intollerance avoid this place like the plague. Upon visiting the welcome was cold but I had assumed due to being in a large group, upon ordering the drink order I placed was ignored and never came to the table, fortunately I was also not charged for this. The real issue is when I placed my food order I informed staff about my allergy which I was then informed would not be of concern as no peanuts were used in the product. When the food arrived upon tasting it I knew immediately there had been an issue. I spoke to staff and was brushed off and ignored. They claimed that A) I was lying about my allergy and B) I had not informed them of said allergy. Please if you have an allergy I would recommend eating elsewhere.

We ordered a takeaway from here, the food was really tasty! Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavour. We ordered scallops, which even though we're delivered, were cooked perfectly and very fresh! A bit more expensive than a normal takeaway, but the quality was definitely worth it!

We were there for dinner. Food quantity was less with high prices. Staff was rude. Don't want to go there again. Just waste our time and money there.

At the beginning it was off to a shaky start, as me and my wife weren't sure if it would be good. It was when we realised that they served Indian food too, and didn't want it to be one of those establishments that do one cuisine excellent and the other cuisine at an average level which for us could have been Thai food. We wanted reassurance of what meats were on Halal, so I asked the waiter and at first it sounded like a lot of the meat options I usually eat were not Halal, the guy explained it to us and said "maybe some things are halal", which wasn't very helpful as I needed certainty of what was Halal for my consumption. I called over another waiter and he was better able to explain and communicate with us what was Halal. In the end when the food arrived, it just became an amazing experience purely because the food just was cooked with care and flavour, where all I could focus on was what I had on my plate. The Red Thai curry with King Prawns is a real iconic dish and I will definitely be coming back for it.

Went for a family birthday total bill was £180 food was mediocre, atmosphere was dyer and service was poor? Had problems putting my reg number into the parking machine and got hit with a £100 pound fine. Even though I was a paying guest and was able to produce a receipt and a bank statement still had to pay? Total cost of the visit £280 would not recommend or visit this restaurant ever again. There’s far better restaurants in the area with free parking please be aware.

Came here luckily after a nearby restaurant we originally planned to go to was fully booked. Glad we came here service was phenomenal food was piping hot and they really really looked after us when in the area next will definitely come for food

Visit 13th April 2023 "Blue Orchid" Our family recommended Blue Orchid and as we love Thai food so as we booked a table. It brought back fabulous memories of our many visits to Thailand. We were attended to and served quickly. The menu has a great variety of choice options. My choice was "Mussaman Curry", it was oh so tasty and spicy as I had hoped. The food was so tasty. Our waiters were very friendly and efficient. The decor has a Thai ambiance. The loos were spotless. Altogether a most enjoyable visit, we will be back. Thank you so much.

Soups were great with seafood. Packages were jammed packed but still a bit pricey. Good though, would eat again

Just had an amazing Thai curry here, one of the best ive had and very generous portions, my husband had a tandoori duck curry which he said was amazing too ( I tasted it and it was! ) the staff were very nice, and attentive, nice atmosphere, and we were served quickly even though itcwas busy. We only popped in without reservation on an off chance, and they accommodated us readily.

Went midweek so it was quite and therefore lacking in any real atmosphere, the food was great, but not standout excellent. Friendly attentive staff.

It took more than 30 minutes to get our starter, even though the restaurant was full when we went there. Even though the waiters appeared warm, they didn't apologise for the long delay for our starter or main. In fact, when I investigated the delay, I was told by one member of staff that my order was written on paper and was accidentally dumped - I don't mind such mistake being made, but there was no apology or a good will gesture. The restaurant has potential if the necessary improvements are made. Be aware that the portion sizes of starters are small and they are a bit pricey. I would suggest you visit and see things for yourselves as you could have a great time.

We ordered a take away from blue orchid as have been to the restaurant before and enjoyed the food. We ordered through the restaurant website and our order hasn’t been received when I called an hour after the order , it took a further hour tor the food to arrive. At almost 10 pm (2 hours late) we didn’t want to food anymore. We will certainly not be ordering from blue orchid online again.

Order a collection, and they didn't assume I was working for a delivery service. Staff is amazing, so polite and professional. The food is constantly fantastic, it tases so good it must be fresh top quality ingredients. Just go and enjoy the food and service 🥳👍🏽

My partner and I dined here yesterday with our son who is in Uni digs close by. We didn't have a reservation but werr made very welcome by the staff who were really friendly and kind as I dithered over what to choose! We had Thai starters followed by Indian mains and sides - The food was delicious with generous portions! We also had a couple of bottles of house red which was really nice. The food offered amazing value - I chose a mixed serving of chicken tikka with lamb bhuna, each curry was a decent portion and cost less than £14 for the pair! I Would definitely eat here again, wish it was my local!

Absolutely loved it, What an amazing find! Never knew this lovely place existed, the curry was absolutely divine. We came in close to closing time on a weekday, however we were welcomed and not rushed to place our order or to finish our dinner. The decor and ambience provided a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Had a lovely meal and the service was impeccable. Polite, attentive and couldn’t do more. Checked I was happy with the meal and it was superb.

I went here with my husband. Good ambience and friendly staff. We had Pad Thai Chicken Noodles and Blue Orchid Tiger Prawns Fried Rice with Blue Lagoon and Mango Juice. We really enjoyed our dinner here. Will visit this place again.

What can I say I had really high hopes. The Thai food in my opinion is not authentic it's incredibly sweet and the sauce was thick. The curry was sickly and I had to force it down it was also very bland. After spending alot of time in Thailand this seems to be a variation of the food I have had. Tom yam vile Green curry and masaman extremely sickly and extremely sweet and bland. The meat was very good quality, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was really warm. We did not try any Indian food. The prices were very expensive. Three of us ate and we were all extremely disappointed, dissatisfied and shocked. The price was just the nail in the coffin. Never again.

Ate here as part of a large group. Food was nice enough but portion sizes were not generous (and I'm not a huge eater!), it took forever to arrive, and some of the rice was cold. Service was largely ok, but not overly warm, & the staff didn't seem to take seriously a food intolerance that one of the group had, which was alarming. I suspect this place is much better for couples/ small groups, but not a great performance for us this time.

Quiet cozy place with beautiful ambience for a relaxed meal. Staff was extremely helpful and very accommodative of certain food intolerances. They went back and forth to the kitchen staff and made sure we could order what we wanted. Thai green curry with sticky rice 8/10. Tom yum 9/10. Pad Thai 6/10 due to slightly muddled flavour profile with addition of a sweet sauce. Would definitely visit again and try more dishes.

Great service, delicious food. We had thai prawn crackers and then the duck and pancakes. For mains we had yellow chicken curry and green curry with sea bass. Very impressed with allergen information on the menu, almost everything was gluten free.

A warm, welcoming atmosphere and busier than expected given it was a Monday. The waiter was very patient with us, as we struggled to pick from the large menu which contained two cuisines (Indian and Thai). Throughout the service was excellent and they were very hospitable. For starters, we ordered the mixed meat and veg platter. The onion bhajis were a highlight. The samosas needed a bit more flavour and punch, the meats were well cooked and tasted nice. For mains, we ordered the veg korma and duck Red Thai curry. Both were huge portions! The korma was well balanced, sweet and tasted great. The red Thai curry was on another level. A beautiful balance of spice, sweetness from the coconut and acidity from the lime. I was impressed by the amount of vegetables in both curries and the duck melted in the mouth. Given that we booked through the fork app (50% off food) it was great value. The portions were very large, waiters were excellent and the mains were fantastic.

Very bad experience....Went for light dinner after drinks and nibbles at another place. Orders only a couple of starters and 2 mains for our group and were immediately told we're supposed to order 1 starter and 1 main for each individual group member! But they will allow us this time cos we're there for the 1st time...the captain taking the order was very rude and didn't seem to care for customers...making them feel as if we're there for free food! Very unprofessional...Best to avoid this place! Received an expected reply from the owner agreeing that they don't treat all customers equally and some groups are not welcome!
