very rude staff charged us for something they forgot to bring, food was average still were willing to sit and enjoy our evening until mice started running around by that point we were disgusted and decided to leave. I will never set foot in this horrid place.

We had the meat and veg platter for two. Very tasty and a nice big portion. The food didn’t take too long to come. The only down side to the experience was that the establishment is more like a bar and so there’s very loud music. We asked to be seated in a separate space at the back and although not as loud, it’s also used for storage so not really a restaurant feel. It’s a shame as the food is really good.

I have wanted to taste, Ethiopian/Eritrean food for some time now. I read the reviews and decided to give this restaurant a go. Big mistake! The food was horrible, the flavour combinations left a very bitter and unpleasant after taste for hours. Not only did it taste bad it was cold. I don't think the food is worth the price or the experience. The owner didn't charge me the full price and that is me being generous. £10 for a table spoon of cabbage, I could have happily lived my the rest of my life and not missed out on anything. Never again.

Had beyanetu, a delicious vegan dish and lamb tibs with red sauce, was really tasty and great value. There's a lovely area to sit outside that's shaded by the trees. Great place to sit and people watch, and theres always more injera on offer! Betam yetafatal, amaseganalu

I arrived late for a far-well party of my friend, and there was no food left. I thought that the people were just teasing me saying how their food was heavenly good, since the place looked basic. The owner asked me if I wanted to eat, and promised to find something vegetarian. When the food arrived, it was beyond all my expectations - a huge and wonderfully made injera with 5 - 6 different kinds of vegetarian treats on it, amazingly tasty! I am coming again there with my family soon.

I love Ethiopian food normally but the food here was amazing. I had the mixed meat and vegetable with Injera for one person. What arrived was 3 meat and 4 vegetable dishes. The meat was so well spiced i couldn't help but eat everything there despite there being too much for one person. Friendly staff. Highly recommended for great food.

There was a number of Ethiopian restaurant on finsbury road. There is loud music once you enter the restaurant. It was quite nice decor. I ordered the one person vegetarian meal which consists of 5 vegetarian dishes. Two were dals, one spinach and two vegetarian dishes. The dishes were tasty and the injeera was good. The only issue was none of the dishes were hot or warm.

Food: AWESOME (I fell in love with Ethiopian Cuisine) Service: VERY GOOD Staff: VERY SWEET & POLITE Ever since my husband went to an Ethiopian restaurant in California (4 yrs back) he would not stop talking about this amazing cuisine. So finally we found a restaurant where we could find authentic Ethiopian food. We drove from Chigwell all the way to this restaurant in seven sisters. The restaurant was not looking good from outside, and nothing changed when we went inside. The waitress struggled to speak english. We thought may be we did a mistake coming here. But the moment our food came we knew coming here was worth it. The food was awesome- presentation, the taste. Every stew was irresistible. We fell in love with the food, the coffee, the music, and the ambience.

We did a reservation, they confirmed. We reached the place and everything was closed. Horrible

I came here with a friend after another Ethiopian restaurant booking fell through. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was generous portions and good value.

Great experience. Thanks. This restaurant is lovely, service is very attentive when you arrive. I would recommend the traditional meal of a shared injera with all the Curries-they are very filling though so you could share one between three people! Having been to Ethiopia I can say this is a genuine experience reminding me of the food and hospitality you would get in Ethiopia too.

Although I am no stranger to Eritrean and Ethiopian Food, it was the first experience for my three friends. This is a nice gem of a place in North London. The food was amazingly flavoursome and the customer service was brilliant. We were made to feel very welcome in a very down-to-earth way. The price is more than reasonable given the size of portions - very generous! Will go back soon!
