Ordered duck rolls which were really tasty, piping hot and crispy I also had the mixed chow mein in sauce. Delicious. Lots of meat with king prawns. Will definitely use again.

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering not up to an acceptable Standard. Chips inedible food dry unappealing and very disappointing

The chicken in the spring onion & ginger dish was VERY POOR quality ,I am wondering what it is they are serving if it is actually chicken . Most of the dish consisted of onions obviously to cut corners and add that little bit more profit in the takeaways favour. It what’s commonly called taking the Micheal , things are tough at the moment for all on the money front , serving sub standard food is unacceptable , noting the reviews below I am not the only unhappy customer. I would welcome a response from the management if they have the backbone to do that ? Health & standards need to be informed. Steer clear that’s my advice .

I Ordered Chicken Bamboo Shoots & Water chestnuts But Got Home & No Chicken In The Meal Odrered This Has Been Done Before Plus They Don't Fry The Rich In A Fried Rich Dish They Skip It & but Corners Or Are Asleep While Cooking Waist Of Time Waist Of Money Just Now Ripp People Off

Worse Chinese ever. The mixed starters were all burnt. That included the butterfly prawns the samosas and the prawn toast. The ribs were swimming in satay sauce _really? We also ordered the special fried rice which included a sauce -we should have known. Also ordered as a takeaway that took over a hour to do 2miles. I should have read TA beforehand . I really don't know how it stays in business. First and last time .

Won't be returning here again. Just not nice food be better off buying a microwave meal from tesco. Spent £27 and I can't even finish it.

Tried to order through just eat got an order confirmed then cancelled...no apology nothing....just rude and couldn’t care less attitude....

Just awful…. Probably the worst take-away I’ve ever had. Chips were just gross, dried, refried, greasy, really terrible. Had green curry which was indescribable. Not like any green curry I’ve ever eaten. Was like pond sludge. I feel guilty writing this but I did complain directly and got no reply. Avoid!!!!

I know costs are going through the roof but to 'pad out' your dishes with loads of carrots is just not on. Either charge more for the dish, explain to your customers but do not add in in filler and lose the quality. Do they even grow carrots in China? Incidentally, i have never ordered chips at a Chinese restaurant for the same reason. i expected better from you than this cheap catering trick.

Ordered a takeaway via just eat. Order came 30 minutes earlier than advised....happy! Opened Thai fishcake starter..... should have come in an urn as they were cremated! Dipping sauce was nice though....but nothing to dip in it as fishcakes went straight in the bin. They were nothing like any Thai fishcakes we have had before. Husband's order was nice schezuan chicken and rice. My sweet and sour chicken balls with chips was inedible! Well over cooked, nearly broke a tooth on the batter and chicken was dry, chips overcooked and dry, really disappointed, we have ordered from here 3 times now. 1st meal was lovely, 2nd not so good but we thought would give them the benefit of the doubt and order a third time. Wish we hadn't bothered. Never again. Disgusting waste of money

Order from her regularly ordered food with rice on delivery no rice arrived I phoned to sort the problem and a lady did lots of huffing and puffing telling me they hadn’t charged for rice!! I said but I ordered rice and she said but I haven’t charged you .why would I order Chinese food without rice?? Eventually agreed to send rice and man arrived with it and after a 15 minute wait then charged me for their error.told him I would write a review as my dinner was now cold and he couldn’t have cared less!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS I FOR ONE WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!

We shouldn’t have given them a second chance. About a year ago they gave the wrong soup with our order, I called to explain this and they said we were lying. I drove to the store explained how unhappy we were about this and showed them the soup which was clearly incorrect. They eventually apologised and we gave them a second chance. Fast forward to today. We order regularly and received an incorrect item. 1 of 6 item order. Explained we were given ribs in a different sauce. The lady on the phone said we were lying. We explained we ordered this dish regularly and were sure that it was incorrect. To wish the lady said the chef said it’s the same......... The woman on the phone refused to do anything regarding the incorrect order. This is by far the worst customer experience I have had at any takeaway. They clearly have no customer service experience and zero concern for the happiness of their customers.

Waited nearly 2.5 hours for delivery. When food finally came one of the dishes was missing the sauce and the rest was below par. Worst chinese takeaway I have ever had. Will most definitely not use again.

Food greasy, all sauces tasted the same, of grease and salt. Disgusting! My meal should have come with rice, it didn’t turn up. When we rang she said we didn’t mention we wanted it, so she didn’t bother putting it in??? Surely if it says it comes with it on the menu you send it!She then refused to send us the missing rice. Won’t be reordering!!

Enjoyed Blue Moon take-away whilst living in St. Annes and, have now moved away but still visit when in the area. Great food, always consistant and pleasant staff.

Have been having take away from them for the last 3 months and have explored their menu. WOW!!! tiptop food, delivered early or on time and great value for money. Just superb from people that know take away.

I used the Blue Moon for the first time a week or so ago. The food arrived pretty quickly. It was nice enough but not really anything to write home about. That said we’re pretty new to the area and are still working out which are the best take away. Tonight we have given the place a second go. There won’t be a third. On ordering we were told that there would be an hour wait. Fine! Normal for a Saturday night. An hour and ten minutes later no food. I rang them several times but no one answered. However, within a couple of minutes the take away telephoned me, told me my address and said the food was with the driver. Lie!!! We waited another 25 minutes or so. To be fair when the food arrived it was piping hot. Clearly they’d made it after calling us. The delivery driver was nice enough but didn’t really seem to give a monkeys that the food took so long. To add insult to injury when we opened our order it was minus rice!! The food was average again. Certainly not good enough excuse an hour and a half wait.

We've been ordering food from blue moon for at least 18 months for the family, without a problem food has been good hence out loyalty, until tonight the very rare occasion you find a night in together, we order as usual as we do once a week at least are told they won't deliver to us tonight, without an explanation, loyalty to me means more as we have stuck with them so unfortunately very let down won't go back, tret horrendously

We eat Chinese quite a lot and like to try different places. I ordered this to work as it was late and it came super quickly and the food was hot and fresh. The crispy duck was on the bone and fresh. Very impressed.

Always excellent the best around

The food was at least 45 minutes late. I feel I was lied to by the restaurant as I rang when it was 30 minutes late and was told it was 'on it's way'. I live no more than a 5 minute drive from the restaurant and it had still not arrived 10 minutes later. I rang the restaurant back and was told the driver was still 'on his way'. When the driver finally arrived he rang the doorbell even though I had specified in the comments section not to do so, which it said on the receipt that he was holding. This woke our 9 month old baby. It was my wife's birthday and she was very much looking forward to this meal and it put a sour note on what had been a nice day. We will not be using the restaurant again and have doubts whether we will ever use Just Eat again as the standards they hold for the restaurants they use clearly don't match my own.

Tried Blue Moon whilst cat-sitting for friends in February this year and it was very good. We have now moved to the area and regard ourselves as lucky to have such an excellent Chinese take-away. So far, we've had fantastic meals and no complaints whatsoever. Would recommend to all.

The food arrived Luke warm. Chips were dry, meat on the food was dry you could not even swallow it without gagging. The only thing my daughter ate were the king prawns from one dish. The most flavour in the while meal were the prawn crackers!!.

food was delivered much earlier than the given estimated time which was great. However I really didn't enjoy the meal at all. The special fried rice wasn't great and the pork balls were really greasy. First time I've ordered from blue moon and doubt I'd order again.

This place gets better and better! Every time we order we are pleasantly surprised. The delivery person is always so friendly and for this particular order the food was so fresh, super hot, very tasty and really satisfying! Loads left for the next day as the portion sizes are very good. I highly recommend this Chinese takeaway as your option. Some standout dishes include the chow mien, the salt and pepper chicken and the house special combination. Delicious!

Food was great as always. However, the delivery took two hours. Was due at 19:30, when contacted at 19:40 I was informed that the food was on its way. 20 mins later still no food. I called back and was again told it was on its way which I was upset about as it would be going cold...I was informed in the same call that the food hadn't even been made yet and the restaurant had got confused with another order. The food was a further 30mins. Not happy at all

The only thing that was okay we're the chips and curry sauce. I didn't like the soups or the house special combination and the spring rolls were practically empty. Not good at all and not fresh. Full marks for delivery though.

Every time we order it's delicious

Greasy food which didn't taste fresh at all. Pork dumplings smelled like a bin, Singapore noodles tasted old and everything had a sticky, greasy sheen to it. Didn't even bother complaining as we didn't want to be sent replacement items cooked by the same people from the same kitchen. We will not be reordering.

The restaurant needs to read customer notes and pay attention to them. I received rice with the veggie dish instead on none. You might consider putting the choice online that would allow rice or no rice with each dish.

We order from this takeaway on a fairly regular basis, and are normally very impressed with the quality and speed of our order, but this time we were given an estimated order time of almost an hour, and the delivery was a further 10 minutes late on top of that, which meant it did end up being more than an hour's wait. Not impressed with this particular transaction at all. The food was excellent quality as usual, which took the sting out a little, but we were so hungry by the time it arrived we didn't really care anyway.

Absolutely shocking service, use these all the time, food never arrived and was paid for online. Waited 2 hours, still not here and restaurant closed. Great Mothers Day Treat !!!!

Food finally came over 1 hour late!

I ordered at 7pm, the food was due at 8pm but didn't arrive until 8.30pm (with no apology). I then discovered one dish was missing, so called the restaurant to discover it hadn't been cooked and the driver was out so I'd have to wait - still no apology!! The final dish arrived at 9.10pm - not impressed.

FOOD NEVER ARRIVED WE WAITED AN HOUR AND HALF AND THEN TOLD THEY COULDNT CONFIRM OUR ADDRESS ALTHOUGH WE USE THEM OFTEN

Food finally arrived after waiting for two hours! We live in a new build, so I left a comment clearly explaining exactly where we live. Despite this, I received a call from the delivery driver saying he could not find our house. So I explained again where we live, but his English was very poor and did not understand a word I said. A further 30 minutes passed until I received a call from a different delivery driver saying our food would arrive soon. When the food finally arrived it was actually quite good, but I wouldn't order from here again. Two hours is just unacceptable.

Was good but we got no cucumber, spring onion or Hoisin sauce with the crispy duck. Bit of a let down when waited over an hour for the meal. It's just not the same without it lol.
