Just wanted a quick meal early evening, really helpful service, very clean and obviously the fish was cooked to order, three of us with our 90 year old father in law who enjoyed every bit, as we all did. Fish n chips is really nice if its cooked right an this was, nice crispy batter and no grease. Thanks

Fish had too many bones. If I'd wanted boned this much I would've gone slept with a skeleton. Literally a pound difference to the Merchant City chippy so I'd rather go there. Tbf their deep fried pizza and Mars bars are nice and so are their worker but cmon man.

When visited the service was great do apologise for not getting the blokes name. The fish was clearly not freshly prepared as it was all soggy and greasy. The gravy didn’t have any taste to it.

Visited last night for a fish supper with 2 pieces of fish. What a disappointment. Both the fish batter and chips were really greasy and soggy and had obviously been lying for a while. Certainly not fresh. Served by staff who didn't seem to care much. When I added on a small bottle of diet pepsi it was £10.85! Well below average and will never be back.

Just home from this place with a King Rib ,Fish supper and two single black puddings and it was so bad .The king Rob was acceptable but the fish and chips were so bloody bad ,the fish was riidiculasly dry with soggy chips inedible. The black pudding batter was so dry obviously been lying for too long .If the owners would like to contact me and explain and defend themselves, £17 for this garbage.Never again avoid it like the plague.

Visited 19 April 2018 around 2.15pm fancied haddock & chips. Went to Blue Lagoon West Nile Street, glasgow. Meal was tepid/luke warm, the Haddock was very dry with thick limp cloying batter and obviously in the keep warm box for hours. The chips were limp and not freshly cooked. The plastic fork supplied free buckled on first prod. The premises did not look too clean either. A complete ripoff at £5.50. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I had the misfortune of trying this chippy, my own fault after saying I would never have it again. First point, the prices. The sausage supper must be organic with the price they think they can charge for it. Second Point. Either the oil they use or their method of cooking is wrong, when you bite in to the sausage it's very greasy with an off taste, the chips are like this too - I suspect they need clean it out or change the oil. The blue lagoon think they're Scotland's chipped but honestly, it's Glasgow, we're surrounded by chippy's please try any other one that isn't Blue Lagoon, you will be much happier!

We went in late and as it turned out, they were about to close up. They weren't cooking anything fresh, just selling what they had left (here they gestured to some sad looking deep fried mystery sausagey things and dodgy meat pies resting in a little window.) I elected to just get a small chips, my friend got a piece of fish too. Absolutely terrible. I ended up throwing mine out. My friend ate his but the fishy smell was nauseating (he complained of stomach upset the whole next day...coincidence?). If they are going to sell food at any time of day, they should make sure it is freshly cooked-otherwise they are just turning people off. I would never go back there.

... My absolute bewilderment at the dish I was served from this establishment! Chills run through me as I attempt to recollect that fateful afternoon!I was in the city on business and felt it an ideal opportunity to grab something to eat before several hectic afternoon meetings with various clients and high profile business partners.I ordered a very well known Spanish dish and waited over 3 hours for my meal to be served! During my wait the rather shifty and unnerving waiter did not check nor update me as to when my meal was to be served. After this laborious wait, A rather sheepish looking server offered me what I assumed to be my delicious meal.A wave of horror swept across me when this monstrosity eventually appeared! Now I consider myself a patient and rather sentient person, and had it not been for my demeanor I would have gone ballistic at the waiter as I am adamant they had done something to my dish... ...THEY POOPED IN MY PAELLA!

No volveríamos
