Mi marido y yo vinimos aquí mientras hacíamos compras en el Fuerte , antes de volver a Inglaterra - En primer lugar Todo el personal era muy amable y amable , hace toda la diferencia en mi libro cuando la gente es amable - Nos sentamos y la comida era fabulosa y un verdadero placer , a un precio razonable y buena calidad y servido rápidamente - Recomendaría encarecidamente

Gran atención al cliente y muy limpio. nos dio tiempo a mirar el menú antes de venir por la orden, no esperó mucho en la comida y todo recién hecho. Lo único malo es que era un poco más caro para 3 comidas y 4 bebidas

Fantastic chippy with great staff, food was perfect temp and tasty. Will fantastic be back. Had several fantastic experiences here as management have gone extra mile on number of occasions.

While visiting my friend Grandson I I stopped to have something to eat. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. My Grandson ate all of his macaroni and said it was the best he had ever tasted. Would definitely recommend visiting here

We popped in for a bite to eat while shopping. Fish n chips is a staple & it's hard to get it wrong. We both agreed this was the worst fish supper we've ever had. We had to wait at least 20-25 minutes for the fish, which is not great at lunchtime when you expect food to be ready or at least cooked quickly. The fish & chips were served on a cardboard tray, which wasn't big enough so when we tried to cut the food, it fell off onto the table. I expect a plate when I'm eating in a cafe/ restaurant, not a bit of cardboard. The chips were fine but the fish was very thin & tasteless. The batter was far too hard & tasteless also. Definitely not recommended.

The staff were very enthusiastic about working here, very good experience. Had a laugh. Food was fit. Although my table had a bit of wobble on it.

Go here usually a lot but last night has got to be the worst I've ever experienced anywhere chip's came out stone cold and the fish and sausages were rock solid over fried was an absolute shambles to be honest I will never be back in this place again avoid at all cost and prices are shocking u can go to a decent restaurant and get better find for same money

The service from Dylan is out of this world the food is fresh hence why we travel miles to get there we totally recommend the blue lagoon at Glasgow fort the service outstanding from all staff they go way beyond to make sure you are happy

Always liked this chip shop, but my recent visit was disappointing. Looks like new management. First, the man serving us decided to serve another customer halfway through putting our food out, then chased the customer as he hadn't paid the exact money. Our food still lying on counter waiting to be wrapped. Then continued to touch the roll with his hands, that he hadn't washed or sanitised. To top it of, the hamburger supper was a kids portion, for same money. When I complained, was told that's the size of they suppers & they are 'trained' to serve this. Then paid for bag, wasn't given bag, had to ask, basically threw over at me to bag myself, cos they are already serving someone else. Won't be back

Yum easy dinner! Shared the 2 piece fish between me and my daughter - was plenty. Staff are lovely and attentive, will be back

Special thanks to Martin and Dylan at the blue lagoon for making our day most enjoyable. Nothing was too much bother for them. We thoroughly enjoyed our fish tea. Thanks again guys. We will definitely be back.

Noticed two other tables had not eaten meals. I had ordered my fish and chips. Tables explained batter on fish was rock hard and hardly any fish inside. Chips greasy. When they complained the “manager” told them to put review on Tripadvisor! I cancelled my order and told manager they can’t take payment for uneaten very poor food. No one paid and we all left. This used to be amazing I can’t believe how it has went downhill. I was told it’s now a franchise maybe that’s why

Bought a large (2slices) fish supper and a sausage supper. Had to wait on fish being cooked so thought would be nice and fresh. How wrong was I..! Asked for no salt n vinegar as we were taking it home to eat. Got in the car and the smell of the fish was overpowering but gave it the benefit of the doubt. Got home (5miles) added the salt n vinegar etc half the chips were solid not even cooked mixed in with mushy chips, took one bite of the fish and had to spit it out..! It tasted vile to say the least..! I phoned the shop to complain and was asked to bring it back for a refund. So I had another 10 mile round trip. Only refunded for the fish supper even though I had gave them back all the chips from the sausage supper and the carrier bag I paid for. So will never ever return to this shop or recommend…! Absolutely disgusting my hamburger supper went straight in the bin was raw. Wanted a mince pie originally but there was none!! Husbands steak pie was that cold it was as if just out fridge. Daughters cheese n chips was vile. Rolls where solid. Never again went down hill rapid since last owner left So £22 down the drain and will never return

Few years back I would have recommend it but not now. I got 3 fish suppers for the family and as we were starving we started eating our meals in a hurry. Firstly, it wasn't even hot. Eventually we have all noticed that fish wasn't too fresh and the cooler it was getting the more stinky smell was coming out of it but by then it was too late. At this point we couldn't finish our meals. We all felt sick and terrible for the rest of the evening till next day morning. So this is the quality you can expect at this place nowadays.

I was sitting in my car 20 feet from the window waiting for the customers to leave before I entered due to the covid restrictions when I watched a lady worker lifting a cloth which was lying on top of the counter and wiping a table with it no sanitiser just a dirty cloth after the table was wiped it was put back on the counter again for further use in the meantime a male member of staff took his mask off and started to scratch his beard then wiping his hands over his entire face before serving another customer absolutely no hygiene visable will not be going in there again

Always go here to grab a bite to eat whilst the wife does some shopping never had a bad meal and the staff are really friendly keep up the good work 👍

My partner & I decided to get a couple of suppers from here on Mon eve & eat them in the car. The man was so nice & mentioned we could sit in if we wanted & eat at a table. We said no it was ok. After eating them, fish & steak pie suppers, we decided to get a donut at the van which was right next to us. Unfortunately their hot drinks machine had been switched off & they couldn't make me a tea. I walked back to the Blue Lagoon & asked the man if I could get a tea. He not only made one for me but didn't charge due to us buying suppers earlier. I thought this was a very nice gesture. Would definitely return.
