Ordered from Uber eats Terrible service from restaurant. First they take 90 min to deliver the food . food was horrible ,absolutely not eatable , it was uncooked.tasteless . The packaging was disgusting 🤮. It’s was burnt as well . No support from Uber eats or restaurant.

Booked table and was given upstairs by the toilet . We were the only table squashed up there by a fish tank with a dead fish in it . It was like a storage area . They never mentioned this when booking . A flow of people going to the toilet was embarrassing. I contacted them but no reply . Food menu is out of date on the window too so prices more expensive. Food was ok nothing special . Such a shame for a local business to treat customers like this .

Turned up for table booked a week previously to be shown one table in what can only be described as a storeroom. Stacked tables and chairs surrounding the only table on the first floor. No thanks. Get a grip and don't overbook. This is not acceptable.

Took a random trip to Blackpool to see the illuminations before they were taken down and had no specific plans for dinner so searched google and this place popped up. With no expectations we went along. Premises were clean and comfortable, service was attentive and friendly, food was freshly cooked and delicious. Can't fault the place at all!

We visited on the first of a 3-night stay in Blackpool on the recommendation of the host at our B&B. We made an online reservation and were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The waiter was efficient but not very friendly: he spent most of his time on his phone at the bar, hardly paying attention to any of the diners. We hadn't eaten all day so we were quite hungry! We ordered one of the set menus which we thought was reasonable value for money, although one poppadom per person seems a bit mean especially with such a large pickle tray. At the time the food seemed good but we were both unwell during the night, so much so that we had to buy Imodium on the following morning. It was then that found out that other guests at our B&B had also given mixed feedback recently, so it seems that Blue Diamond isn't as good as it used to be. We might have just been unlucky but we're sorry to say that we cannot recommend this place.

Having read the reviews we decided on trying here whilst staying locally. Wish we hadn't. We were first customers in. Ordered poppodams and pickle tray. They were okay. Had to ask for a second pickle tray between 3 of us. One mixed starter and 2 prawn puree which have to say all were the best bit of the whole meal. 2 chicken tikka massala's and 1 chicken roghan josh. The massala's was so bland and tastless, one of the worst we have ever tasted. Same with the roghan, my Wife said it was tastless and didn't even taste like one. The pilau rice did not look nor taste like pilau. It was bland and colourless. The 2 garlic naan's were okay swimming in garlic how we like them. However they were very small. Drinks are average price although we are used to being able to take our own. The waiter was annoying as he kept pacing the venue to the door and back next to us. It felt like he was waiting to pounce to remove the dishes asap. Don't understand Indian restaurant's that serve their curries in bowls instead of metal woks, the currys go cold so quickly and it is really not authentic. The staff certainly appeared to look after it's regulars far better than us! Won't be returning. Plenty of other places to try including the one right nextdoor.

Food is lovely often have takeaway and dined in on this occasion, reasonably prices and good serve, unfortunately I choose a dish that was slightly to hot for my liking but this was my mistake and was still nice, little hidden gem on highfield road highly recommend

Three of us visited; my wife, her friend and me. The restaurant is small and because it was New Year’s Eve it was busy and noisy. The ladies like good food and refinement so while they thoroughly enjoyed the food they didn’t enjoy the buzz. On the other hand I can look beyond the aesthetics and I really enjoyed my food and also the noise of people having a good time. It’s quite a while since I saw such an extensive menu. My mixed kebabs stater and Lamb Shashlik main were delicious. Both ladies ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and although already biased because of the surroundings admitted that their food was lovely. And I think we all agreed that the food was good value. So 5/5 from me; not so sure about the ladies but it’s my review.

Turned up quite late on Sunday evening to be met with a very warm welcome by all the staff. The restaurant was warm, cosy and clean. The King Prawn puree was served piping hot and tasted delicious with nice accompaniments. My main of Chicken Pathia with Garlic Rice was even better. Just the right blend of spices to get the hot and sour tang on the palate. All washed down with a lovely pint of Kingfisher. Would loved to have poppadoms, Nan bread etc but that can wait until next time. A very nice touch by Kam ( man in charge ) was giving myself a gift voucher which I shall be using on my next visit. Oh, and very reasonably priced as well. Top marks all round.

In Blackpool for a few days, and fancied an Indian restaurant on our last night - we’d read good things about the Blue Diamond and we weren’t disappointed. We were staying on the seafront, so it was a 10 min walk inland from the Harrow Place tram stop. Lovely place with warm and friendly staff, with plenty of good banter. Food was delicious - dishes full of flavour and excellent naan breads. If it wasn’t for the 500 mile round trip from our home, we’d be eating here regularly, but we’ll definitely be back next time we visit Blackpool. Highly recommended.

Stopped here for dinner after a busy day and had two really delicious curries: lamb rogan josh and veg dopiaza. The lamb was super tender and tasty and the dopiaza sauce was excellent. We have curries a lot and these were really quality! The restaurant was quiet so service was prompt but the servers had lovely personalities and were joking about with a kid at another table, making the family laugh (and us!). 100% recommend for delicious, fresh Indian!

Been here a few times recently and the food is very tasty. I like a vindaloo and the one is just right. Not stupidly hot like its not supposed to be, nice and tasty. The garlic nan bread is also superb. Kam the manager and the young girl serving drinks are extremely polite and make you feel at home.

We have lived in Blackpool for 12 years and think we have tried every restaurant in town. We found The Blue Diamond and will never go to another Indian Restaurant in Blackpool. This is our place. The food is perfection and the service is second to none. The tastiest Indian food I have tasted in years. The staff are amazing.
