Absolutely disgusted with the food and the service was awful I ordered beef burger and chips with a hot chocolate the beef was chewy and the hot chocolate was made with water. Absolutely disgusting place. Shouldn't be charging what they charged for awful food. Definitely won't be coming here again.

How people leave a bad review on this is beyond me. Under new management which if anything is by far the best move for this amazing little place. I’ve known the manager a very long time and has always been responsible respectful and a genuine down to earth person. Always doing his best to make others happy. Bad reviews come from people known by the previous manager. Was a terrible place when she was there. Tension, frustration and very uncomfortable atmosphere. Amazing food, amazing service fast and friendly. Comfortable from the second in the door. Great value for the quality. I would 100% recommend this place.

Blods is currently being review bombed by a discruntaled ex manger and her friends. This could go on for the next few months and foreseeable future. She lost the business that her partner set up for her to run through her own actions and has no one but herself to blame.. much less the staff members trying to earn a honest living. The old manager left blods with a empty till, in large debts and in a disgusting mess. I can assure every one the kitchen is now cleaner than it has ever been, period. The person previously using the equipment clearly did understand how to maintain it. the debts she left have been settled. The previous manager was not running the kitchen according to health and safety standards, and I don't know how it passed inspections when she was in charge. I can assure you this has changed now. Over the last few weeks there has been a series of strange occurrences. Fake orders over the phone. Items going missing from the building. Police turning up looking for the the old manager. Malicious lies and rumors. It has been a challenging time for every one. The current owner is being put through hell when it is well known he is a fair and responsible man. Blods is currently going through a difficult period as the future of the business is being decided. All the staff are doing there best in these uncertain times. They do not deserve the slander they are receiving. We hope we can repair the damage done and restore Blods reputation. But it is going to take time and we appreciate everyone's patience. To everyone who enjoys our food and continues to support Blods, we thank you and appreciate you dining with us. As it stands every day the staff go home with tips every and we have no complaints toany staff about any of the food since the old manager left. One thing is for sure. Whatever the future is for Blods, it will be better than its past.

First of all the food served was O.K. bog standard, but O.K. except the tomatoes were undercooked. BUT. Well this is one UNIQUE cafe, I went for lunch 1.00pm and if you take off the menu Breakfast and Burgers (I dont like them) THERE IS NOTHING LEFT !!!! This is a Cafe with NO MENU - Bacon or Burgers THATS IT, honest. I know you don't believe me. Lunch Time - where are the Sausage/Mash/Onion gravy, Pie/ Pasties/Chops/steak/liver and onions ect with vegtables, Special "Dish of the Day", Home made Curry. NOTHING. I have been going into Cafes for over 50 years and NEVER seen anything like this. The "New Manager" has NO IDEA WHAT TO DO . - RESULT at 1.00 to 1.30 pm the total customers he had (inc me) was TWO. As for the girl on the till I had tea, a BIG cup arrived and a small tea pot with two tea bags which .75% filled the cup, too strong. I asked for another BIG pot of hot water, a small pot arrived with another two tea bags, I gave up. The other customer has to ask for a "Americano" Coffee three times before she got that right, We just exchanged smiles. Upon paying £8.90 I was charged £7.50 "I was kept waiting too long", she said. The breakfast was cooked and served in 5 minutes, the only thing that was O.K. Dear Manager, to save you money get a job stacking the shelves as Asda, anything but running a cafe with no menu. Time to pack up your tent and move on.

Having had great breakfasts there previously I was so disappointed to see that it has new owners and standards have dropped so much. Serviette was that thin it disintegrated, tea was awful, so cheap. The breakfast had the cheapest sausages, beans, Tom sauce, hash browns, mushrooms all tasteless. Bacon, egg and black pudding was lovely. Waitress appeared to be off with the fairies bless her. I write this review in the hope they realise that cheap is not always good. Also not everyone wants loud music blaring out, especially when the staff join in singing

I can’t quite put into words how bad this breakfast was and most definitely the worst I’ve ever eaten in any establishment. Underwhelming, unappealing, unappetising. We came a matter of months ago and enjoyed it so came back today. No idea what has changed but something quite clearly has! The butter resembled something close to lard and the sausage definitely a meat content of around 5%, one of us had snotty eggs, the a tabled eggs were grey and the mushrooms were slimy and definitely tinned.

After been told to visit this cafe. I was very disappointed. No hot milk, no coleslaw, no salad, cold food and coffee, no soft drinks no proper napkins..staff were pleasant unfortunately I won't be rushing back

Food was below average. Breakfast was edible. Sausages were cheap and had a strange texture. Latte was poor. I won't comment on my friends food but they weren't too happy with theirs. Won't be returning as certainly not my cup of tea.

went for breakfast, coffee cold…. bacon was so cold and meal was just so disappointing and two meals took an hour to arrive. Even though there was only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Made me feel so disinterested in eating. Never going there again rather have my dog cook my breakfast!!!

Decent no frills Cafe, service was quick and friendly breakfast was decent my only criticism is the beans were a bit undercooked and my toast wasn't very toasty.

We tried to return to this cafe since it's re-opening, however, on 2 occasions one day after the other for breakfast, they were not open at their own specified opening times. After the first day we checked in the afternoon for the following morning and told 9.00am. Still no sign of any life at 9.00am. Very disappointing, they must be happy to keep losing money and customers.

Food was absolutely delicious, can't fault it at all, cooked perfect and really generous portions. I can see why this place is popular, I'd highly recommend for breakfast. A great start to our day! Ordered 2 large breakfasts and a fried egg for my 3 year old.. the food was cooked to perfection and served promptly so it was nice and hot. I always enjoy the fresh coffee, which was topped up as needed! The cafe has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, is lovely and clean , with activities readily available for kids to keep them amused while you finish your meal! Th staff are so polite and eager to make your visit pleasurable and ensure everything is ro your satisfaction. Price-wise, Blods is reasonable and well worth the money. Wanted to support a local business and found Blod's was open on a Sunday morning from 9:00. Greeted by friendly staff who were quick to take an order which in turn was on the table in next to no time, hot and very tasty with a great cup of coffee. Atmosphere was great even if it was a miserable day outside. Highly recommend - a great find! Thank you.

Have been meaning to visit for ages and wasn’t disappointed when I finally got there!! I had a small breakfast with toast and tea and it was gorgeous!! Seen it freshly cooked too!! The atmosphere was great, with friendly staff and some great tunes that me and other customers were singing and dancing along to!! Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend highly to every one!!

First time I’ve been to Blods since the new ownership. The large breakfast was beautifully cooked and great value for money. Looking at the range of food available there is a good range for all ages. During these quieter months they need our support and it is well worth a visit. Good luck with this enterprise.

Popped in for a coffee and a catch up with a friend, soon as we walked in we where greeted and seated, wasn't going to eat but as soon as we smelt the food we had to eat, the food was brilliant, you can clearly see its looked after and loved by the owners,

The manager and assistant were so welcoming and friendly to us, although we were a rather noisy group of six older women (sisters) stopping off on our drive to Abersoch last Monday . Generous helpings, helpful service, limitless tea, very reasonable prices, a clean toilet, and a really good atmosphere. We would definitely visit again if in the area.

What cafe greets a customer at 0930hrs in the morning and quite rudely says we aren't taking anymore orders now when there are people in there eating. Needs a lesson on customer service towards visitors.🤔🤨

We stumbled across this cafe as visitors to the area. Parking was a little tricky so we did pay and display directly behind the cafe. We had a lovely warm welcome from the staff, the food was delicious. Very happy customers! Diolch!

I didn't realise it was possible to make a veggie fry up without something being underdone or burnt until I went here. One of the best brunches I've ever eaten. Really hit the spot. Excellent food came with excellent coffee. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We came in around two in the afternoon when it was pretty empty so the staff were prompt and happy to chat while we were waiting. An absolutely brilliant find.

Amazing value, amazing food and fantastic service. After staying at the travelodge I was looking for somewhere nice to have breakfast. Travelling alone for work, I was looking for somewhere I could sit quietly and have a decent breakfast. Thank goodness I found this place. Freshly cooked food, a generous portion and most importantly, delicious. The staff were really friendly. I will definitely be coming here again. Although my portion was rather large, it was like woman v food … it was so good, I managed. Lol

Order a full breakfast for my self and my wife had a bacon sandwich , took over 30mins to come , it was cold when arrived sausages wer very chewy and just tasted cheap eggs over done bacon was OK, wouldn't be going back in...

Ordered an omelette with beans, a bacon cheese melt a portion of chips. Got to the door and all of the food was cold, bland and simply just not worth it. The chips literally tasted like cardboard, very little bacon and cheese was barely even melted. Would definitely not recommend the wait for cold food!

Popped in for a light breakfast while my car was being fixed. Sausage & egg bap with a proper mug of tea for ~£5 isn't bad in my opinion! It was poor a year ago, but now it seems a new owner is in charge well at least new staff. If they adopt the best points of the previous owners (The Indian Guy from 5 years ago was the best) they will go far....

I'm sad to say I was disappointed. We ordered two Welsh rarebits at £4.50 each. What arrived was literally just melted cheese on bread. Completely flavourless and very disappointing. 😭😭
