Awful service, 2 hour waiting time for food. After booking in advance, other tables also waiting 2 hours with children. Over booking and greedy business.

**2024 Update:** I visited this pub today for their Sunday Carvery, which was prominently advertised on their Facebook page and on signs outside the venue. We arranged to meet family there specifically for the carvery, bringing our two dogs along because the pub is normally dog-friendly. However, upon arrival, we were abruptly informed that dogs are NOT allowed on Sundays. This critical detail was omitted from all advertising. There was no mention anywhere that dogs were not welcome on Sundays—neither on their Facebook page nor on any signage. As a result, our family, who had already paid for their carvery and settled their children, had to stay while we were forced to leave and find another place to eat. This glaring oversight completely ruined our family Sunday lunch. Such a lack of clear communication is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the management's ability to provide essential information to their customers. I have no issue with a venue making changes to their pet policy—it's entirely their prerogative. However, it's basic customer service to clearly communicate any such restrictions. Let me communicate that which you seem incapable of doing: **DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON SUNDAYS!** This is the kind of information that should be readily available to avoid inconveniencing your patrons. **Original Review from 2023:** The pub has a standard "Wetherspoons-style" atmosphere, but unlike Wetherspoons, the drink prices are excessively high. We were charged £19.20 for two double rum and diet cokes, which is outrageous considering it was only Kraken rum, which I can buy for around £20 a bottle at Tesco. While the staff were friendly and chatty, and there was ample seating inside, the absence of a beer garden was notable. We didn't try the food, but it appeared decent as it was being served to other tables. Overall, this isn't a place I would hurry back to. To the management: If you want to attract and retain customers, start by providing accurate and complete information and offering a better value for money.

Visited last year for drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere. Returned this year after being told about the carvery. Walked in to a warm welcome. Very friendly staff and an amazing meal. What more could you want.

Beautiful meal and service. We were here on a Monday night. The ambiance was lovely and the service was superb. Can vouch for the prawns,wings,lasagne and rib eye.

This pub is a proper chill spot. The beers are top-notch, you can tell they know what they're doing. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. It's got a great vibe, perfect for a relaxed pint or two. Definitely worth a visit.

We came back to LC'S after visiting here on our last trip to Llandudno vowing to try the Fish and Chips this time. It was absolutely divine! The food was gorgeous and very tasty. Set out beautifully with lots of lovely garnishes and compliments to the already delicious meals. Service was top class. Smiles all round, asking was everything okay for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely ambience with soft lighting, warmly decked out with rustic looking wooden flooring. Couldn't recommend LC'S enough XX 👌 😊

Really enjoyed our Sunday carvery, good selection of meats and we just turned up (7 of us!) after having the place recommended to us by the guys running the boat trips. Friendly staff and we all left with full stomachs! Would definitely visit again

This place has a lot to offer, good food, location, nice atmosphere, good service, live music. Nice offer on Moretti. We only visit Llandudno occasionally but it is great to know about this place.

We waited 35 minutes for our meals and then didn't get what we ordered. We informed the waiter who went to the kitchen and came back telling us the Cook said it was the veggie burgers we ordered. It was obviously not, as there was some chicken and bacon in it! We decided to eat what we had, because we didn't want to argue with anyone and we didn't want to wait again for something else, but we won't come back. We are not vegetarians, so it was OK, but I do not recommend this place to vegetarian people.

Very busy and lively on Saturday until a singer with an acoustic guitar killed the atmosphere a bit, but may be to others taste. There's plenty of seating but no drinks menus for you to have a browse at or check prices (I had mentioned that there was no food menus out either but the owner replied to my Google review advising food is not served after 9pm so no menus are out) There is however a black board with various dishes on there from carvery to fish and chips all around £17/£18 which I though was quite high for pub food (again owner advised there are dishes starting from £11, in reply to my google review but I didn't see this as menus are hidden after 9pm) The drinks were quiet expensive £20 for 2 singles and mixer @ £11 (£3.30 of that was an 8 fluid ounce dash od diet coke which once you take into consideration the half a pint glass they used and iceberg in there it worked out probably at 1 or 2 fluid ounce dash for £1.65) and 3 baby guiseness for £9. ***"Or I should just ask for no ice" the owner advised in reply to me google review *** I've emailed Marstons to see why this pub is using all the half pint glasses that should only be for beer, larger or cider as spirit/mixer glasses as I didn't think the brewery's allow it. I would maybe recommend taking in a can of diet coke or pepsi in your bag, handbag or back pocket to avoid being stung on the dash that is charged separately from the double or single measure. ***The above was a tounge in cheek comment, but the owner advised that "anyone doing this will be asked to leave abbruptly" in response to my google review*** Also Stated that anyone who has the same opinions in thinking that £1.65 for a dash of diet coke is very expensive and so is £17/£18 for Marstons pub food is expensive should be more suited to Blackpool rather than Llandudno haha, see image for the owners full response. If only they put as much effort into keeping their prices for a dash of diet coke more reasonable as they do to replying sarcastically to any critism on a review 😉

On Tuesday on a day trip we decided to have lunch at LC as we did last year. No one in there at 1.30 but despite feeling uncomfortable decided to order at the bar only to be told by the member of staff that I could not have a cup/pot of tea or any other hot drink. No explanation given, at that point we decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat. Guessing the business has changed hands since our last visit.

First time visit, looking to eat early evening. Super friendly and helpful service throughout, genuinely smiley and pleasant staff. We had the steak night deal of 2 dinners for £40, which includes a starter or pudding. All fresh ingredients, well presented - we really enjoyed the food. We sat in a booth. Pub very clean. We will return and can recommend to anyone looking for a good, fresh-cooked meal in a friendly environment.

Beer was good. Food was definitely the star, the ribeye and tiramisu was hands down the best food since coming to Wales. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Will return every time.

We booked in as a family of 10. Some of us made the mistake of ordering a starter. Only a mistake because the main courses are huge. All meals were lovely, reasonably priced and were brought out in good time.

Lots of delicious food at a great price. We had salt and pepper calamari and wings for starters and horseshoe gammon for mains. Couldn't quite finish it all. Chips are to die for. Definitely recommend

The price of the carvery has gone up dramatically £17! when I went on Mother’s Day it was £13 something, sorry I can’t justify that amount for a carvery for that I would want a plated service and not have do it myself.

Had a very Good Sunday Carvery, all food was cooked to perfection.They had 2 teenagers working the floor and treated me well! Will definitely be going again.

Had the carvery here based on other reviews. It was thoroughly average and not very hot. Choice of 4 meats but only allowed 2 small slices. Roast potatoes and gravy tasteless good choice of veg though. I have knocked off a star as it was pricey.for a one visit carvery £17 !!

Ordered a vegetable lasagne and this is what arrived. Terrible for £13.95, luke warm. I complained saying there was no garlic on the ciabatta which it stated on the menu and then was told by a staff member well you have ordered the vegan and just walked off. So im not allowed garlic bread then? When other family members had finished I asked for a refund and a young lady who said she had just started working there replied that it was vegan. Nothing on that menu said it was vegan other wise I wouldn't have ordered. After a while I received my refund. I also spotted the chef coming through the doors with village bakery baps and were used for the burger buns. Not really the type of thing you use for a burger. I will not be returning. Takes me a lot to complain

Had a meal here (9 people) Saturday evening, we ate a variety of meals from fish & chips,burgers lasagne , all cooked very well the portions were large,a goods drinks menu, the staff were friendly and efficient. This place is well worth a visit

Quite a big room, decorated out nicely. Female singer on who was pretty good. Usual tap beers on with a few real ales available. Quite a few people in which adds to the atmosphere. Nice clean and tidy. Beer was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Good visit.

Dog friendly with a hood atmosphere and cheap drinks

Popped in for a quick drink looked great they got ales inside friendly staff so had a two meals mmm fish chips mushy peas partner had same but with peas quality an looks when it came out looked fantastic served with side salad tartare sauce and tasted fantastic to swilled down with a pint of wainwrights .....wetherspoons stick ur food an ales .....ITS Quality at LC drink and dine thanks chef and barman at LC DRINK AND DINE Llandudno.

Visited today with my mother and family members. The atmosphere was great, normally they start serving at 12pm, today the queue was to the front door already - sign of good food. The beef and pork were delicious and the gravy was to die for. The two young boys did a fantastic job looking after the front of house. Well done! A great Mother’s Day!

Love this place to eat the food is so tasty and you get your moneys worth me and the hubby come here all the time for lunch when kids are in school. We especially love the carvery we both agreed it's one of the best we have had. We always get a table aswell so very accommodating. Will continue to visit this great place in llandudno.

Had a birthday meal last year was great food had the carvery. Thinking of coming back this weekend for motherdays for a carvery again mmmm

Three of us ate here on a Tuesday evening. Staff were friendly and welcoming. All three meals were delicious. All cooked perfectly, with generous portions and served piping hot. My fish and chips were outstanding with crisp batter and delicious chunky chips. The other meals were sausage and mash and cottage pie. Again these were delicious. Can't fault anything and would certainly eat here again when in town.

Arrived late on Sunday afternoon hoping we might be able to get a roast dinner and we where not disappointed , the carvery was still going although they only had beef and ham left which didn’t matter as we both had the beef and it was really good .The veg was really well cooked , the roast potatoes and yorkshires where lovely and there was plenty of choices of hot veg .Great price for what you got and good atmosphere , staff very helpful and attentive would recommend , and will be returning , Thank you

Our visit having been recommended. Nice atmosphere. Very disappointed with our meal. My fish pie was good but the accompanying vegetables were overcooked to a pulp. My husband's curry was tasty but the portion was measly. Overpriced for what was served. When we told server of our disappointment there was no response. We will not be going again!

Visiting Llandudno for the weekend and popped in here for a drink and dinner. Super impressed; the mushroom & leek risotto was lovely and the perfect sized portion, and the bread and butter pudding was just delicious. Wish we were staying longer so we could go again.

Lovely homemade food, all very tasty. Good selection of drinks - a good pint of Guinness! All the staff nice and polite, give you their time for a chat.

Went for carvery, have had it before and my wife has always had the child's carvery as she doesn't like large portions. This time we were told by the girl behind the bar that we couldn't order the child's size as we had no children with us, it's never been a problem before and to be honest I don't agree with the logic behind this rule, why does it matter if you are an adult wanting a small portion? They don't lose out as they are literally serving you what you are paying for, a very small portion! So instead of child's, medium adult and large adult, why not just offer small, medium and large?

First visit for Sunday lunch. Can highly recommend! Great produce, good selection of meats & vegetables. Friendly staff. Only given 4* because of seating position by the door (chilly when someone came in). Will book ahead next time 🙂

Came to this establishment for the first time today. My boyfriend & I had the carvery and would definitely recommend it. The meat was tender and succulent and the accompaniments perfectly cooked. 11/10 and will be back again soon. Good value for money!!

We just popped in for a drink but it seems a popular place. Nicecand clean and in a good location.

Careece is a great asset! We was recommended THE LC by a friend lovely restaurant/bar the food was delicious very worth the money. we was served by a lovely young lady careece. Nothing we wanted was too much trouble and it felt great to be served by somebody who really enjoy their job and loves a good chat -made a huge difference to our enjoyment of the afternoon. Can't wait to come back to the lc!

Popped in on the off chance they had a table for the carvery, the lady on the meet and greet was very helpful and got a table in about 15 mins, how she organised all the tables and timings was excellent.

Found this place on the off chance that we wanted a roast dinner, we were lucky that we got a table when we got in, busy place, very popular, bought our ticket at the bar and waited in a long queue for food, choice of 4 types of meat, beef, pork, Gammon & Turkey, loads of different vegetables, condiments, lush gravy, the Lady at front of the house, was taking numbers of people for tables and writing their names on a pad, very informative on how long a table would be available, efficient, friendly and quick, as soon as a table was free, it was cleaned and whoever was next on the list was shown where to go, lovely busy establishment and a pleasure to visit, food was delicious, expect a wait but it's well worth it. 5*

We went for Sunday carvery today. We were greeted with NO DOGS IN HERE ON A SUNDAY , I then explored that Zara was a guide dog. Only to be told that we could only sit by the front door. I would NOT be allowed to go and get my own food because of my guide dog. How to make a disabled person feel even more second class WELL DONE THE LONDON

OMG just parked the car in Mostyn Street and walked into these premises,never been here before. We got a table straight away and had the Sunday Carvery. I have never seen portions so big in all my life! Some folk were struggling to carry their...

Lovely restaurant, the food was very good although the first burger ordered was very very pink it was taken back and replaced no problem and the replacement burger was delicious, my partners gammon was really nice, both meals were served with delicious chips and proper onion rings. Service was great and it had a nice quiet atmosphere.

Ordered a homemade cottage pie and homemade chilli cheese burger. The food and service was very good!

Had a nice drink one evening, seemed a good atmosphere in the place. Have been told the food is good but not eaten there myself.

We've visited twice so far during our 4 night stay in Llandudno. Nice pub, the friendliest service on both our visits & the food was great. We had the cottage pie, a side order of onion rings which was the biggest side we've ever had! We had the vegetable curry & vegan lasagne on our 2nd visit, it was all presented really well & very tasty. We'd definitely visit again & recommend to others. Went again today(Thursday 14/09/2023) & had fish & chips, absolutely delicious & a large portion too! Absolutely lovely service yet again, we will definitely eat at LC Drink & Dine next time we're in Llandudno.

Carvery on a Sunday is great, atmosphere is really good, and overall a great place to have a drink and a bite to eat.
