Restaurante tradicional del hotel. Comida decente, precio razonable y buen servicio. Nada de lujo, pero vale la pena una visita si estás cerca

Absolutely gorgeous food with amazing staff, the location is idyllic for those who are visiting Llandudno and want some fantastic food - my partner and I had the Black Star Trio as a starter which was perfect to share, and I had the linguine vengole which was superb, however I didn't read the small print and found two tiny pearls in the clams that was in the dish, which is far from a complaint! It was quite a nice surprise, my partner had the Cuban Calzone which was also fantastic for those who enjoy pickles and a trio of meats! The sauce that came with it as well was incredible. Finally to finish off I had a coffee and my partner has the cheesecake which was beautiful, perfect meal for a lovely sunny Sunday, thank you all at Dylan's Llandudno!

I travelled all the way from Birmingham with my partner to try this seafood restaurant, hoping for a great experience based on its appearance—but unfortunately, we left very disappointed. We ordered the mussels as a main, and to our shock, they were not cleaned properly. I kept getting pieces of shell in my mouth, which completely ruined the dish. I chose not to complain at the time, but it was genuinely unpleasant. My partner ordered the Gambas Pil Pil, which tasted nothing like it should—there was no garlic, no seasoning, and it lacked any real flavour. We also tried the bao buns, which were the only decent item we had. On top of that, the calamari was extremely salty and barely edible. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are quite appealing, but sadly the food quality and service were far below expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and we definitely won’t be returning.

The food was OK but I came there for fresh fish and I asked for a catch of the day. I was said hake would be definitely fresh, but it was frozen. Unfortunately, I am able to differentiate fresh fish from the frozen one. I would prefer the truth from the staff. It wasn’t a confusion - I was intentionally offered one of the most expensive fish dish as fresh, but in reality it was a piece of frozen tastless piece. Shame on you

The Llandudno branch is the poor relation of these at Menai and Criccieth where the food, service and atmosphere are all better. We went because it is only a short walk from venue Cymru but only because the better restaurant nearby was fully booked. Too many tables packed in so that we were treated to close up views of staff backsides every time they had to serve a table near us. Too many dogs allowed in. It’s good to be dog friendly but they should be in a separate area. A member of our family who thankfully wasn’t with us has a serious allergy to dogs. The appearance of three or four dogs at tables next to us would mean we would all have to leave immediately. Some thought needs to be given to seating plans and asking people if they mind sitting near dogs.

The food seemed quite poor for the money aside from the scallops. Poor vegan selection - no tofu dishes. The restaurant was also quite cold and we had to keep our coats on which is terrible for a restaurant which must be cosy. Shame, as it's a nice place which merits a much better restaurant than this

Absolutely amazing loved it! That's was what my youngest daughter thought and she's 11, the Service was impeccable and the food was cooked to perfection. Dylan's is that good I am considering doing a 214 mile round trip to come back for the wife's birthday. Dylan's made our evening even greater and can say I am definitely going back. From entering to leaving the team make you feel welcome and very helpful if you have anyone in your group that can't make their mind up on what to eat, they are more than happy to give more time or even advise on what to eat. Thank you.

Really loved this place. We had coffee outside. Great service from attentive, friendly, professional staff. Very dog friendly & staff gave our doggy a lovely welcome. Would highly recommend!! Only downside was drinks only, rather than food, allowed outside (to avoid attracting seagulls). Varied options on the menu including various plant based food options. Their oat latter was lush!

Nice enough food. Having been to Dylan’s Criccieth on our last Wales trip (which we were consciously late for and rang ahead to let them know), the atmosphere was noticeably different in comparison- it didn’t have that same friendly welcome. Admittedly, I had got the booking time wrong but the welcome was very frosty and awkward as a result - it was an honest mistake and we wouldn’t have been staying the entire booking time with a 2 year old anyway. We only received 2 glasses for table water and we had 2 adults and a small person with us. We would always want our daughter to feel included in our experiences when eating out and this was disappointing compared to our previous experience at Dylan’s Criccieth, where staff made a conscious effort to speak to the children as well as the adults (arguably more). It felt more like a scramble to get us in and out despite the many surrounding empty tables. We also noticed the cigarette bin lying open on our way in - small thing but it speaks volumes. Probably would skip here on our next Llandudno visit unfortunately.

Special request was noted and we got a good table (it was my birthday) as well as a lovely welcome. It was not very busy at all (it was a Thu in early April) - only reason I gave 4/5 for atmosphere - the ambient music was good and we spent a lot of time on Shazam, on a trip down memory lane, and finding new favourites. Service was discreet, friendly and timely. Meanwhile the food was very good, arriving promptly: I had the moules marinere starter which was very tasty and the mussels excellent. My partner had the smoked mackerel pate on a crumpet (photo attached) which he enjoyed very much. I then had the linguine vongole with even more mussels - this was excellent. A delicious sauce (olive oil, lemon?) with lots of garlic and fresh parsley, and lots of shell on seafood. Linguine cooked to perfection. My partner had the lasagne which he said was the tastiest he’d had. We were then full but as a lovely gesture I was brought a Happy Birthday plate (picture attached). Molly, Grace and in particular Joe were friendly whilst professional, and helped make the evening spot on. Thank you all very much.

Got an idea that this is one of the best a decent restaurant in the area. So give it a trial tonight. Something I need I have to alert the manager that food preparation needs a second look. Tonight we had three dishes, a soup of the day, mussel and dirty pork. I'd give a 5*. Nevertheless, we found the mussel and the soup, yes, the soup, were too sandy to take. The soup was more on the salty side as well. We told the young lady about the sandy mussel. She quickly apologised, explained and offered to change. That's highly appreciated. I took half of the soup already so I didn't bother to let her know about it's problem. It's quite common in UK to have food cooked with sand for some... health reason? for better digestion? No, just kidding. It's about the food preparation. That's really not a difficult job to allow the mussel to spell all sand out and to wash thoroughly the root of the leeks. Blender can't blend the sand into tasty smoothie unless there's a miracle. We replaced the mussel with seabass tacos which was average as we'd expect. Tonight the restaurant was not even a quarter full so there shouldn't be any excuse for the food quality.

Visited Dylan's before going to the theatre tonight. Told the staff we we had theatre booked however our order wasn't taken for ages and we had to ask for it to be taken. Ordered the Lasagne and small chowder. It came reasonably quick and had no complaint about the chowder however the Lasagne was disappointing as it had obviously been microwaved for too long as the outer pasta was not edible as it was hard and ended up leaving most of it. Waitress came over and I told her the issue and she said she could see how hard it was, was offered something else but didn't have the time. I wasn't charged for it but that's not the point, food should be served in perfect condition every time especially when high end prices are charged. Very disappointing visit.

Finally got to visit Dylans while on a business trip to Llandudno was so looking forward to it. Building, interior and ambiance fab. Service polite and informative. Food however, was a disappointment...as food is what we were there for it was a shame. Seafood Lunguini was very dry with practically no sauce and the seafood was overly 'fishy' in flavour, and only contained small shrimps and a few mussels. I discarded most of the seafood and only ate 2/3rds of the dry linguini. No 'side' of garlic bread was on offer which was a shame. Beef burger was nothing special and the chips....some soft and tasty, some hard inside, so hit and miss. The coleslaw was good, but a tiny portion. Would not chose to eat here again. It was a simple pasta and burger meal. Should have been so much better for the price.

I had a late lunch on 29th December 2024 at your venue in Llandudno today. I go to Llandudno regularly and I often stop at this restaurant. I noticed the same issue as last time I visited last August. I ordered the seafood chowder, small portion. The taste was nice but the recurrent issues were that their chef leaves small hard shells in the soup. This is a serious safety hazard for one could choke on those shells. Seafood chowder or clam chowder are my favourite starters and I had them in different countries, USA, Canada, Scotland, England and Wales. Nowhere else but at this venue have I found shells in my soup. The second recurrent issue with the soup was that seafood and vegetables in it were again undercooked and too hard in the mouth. At the high prices they charge for their food I should be able to expect nothing but the best. This now makes me think twice about visiting Dylan's again to eat. The shell safety issue is too serious, hence I have to give only 1 star. I emailed their management but was ignored.

The service here is superb. The staff are friendly and super quick to help, but it’s a shame I can’t say that about the food. The linguine was dry and bland. The burger was dry. The chowder was salty. The mussels looked okay, but I didn’t like the sand. This should’ve been a fast food restaurant. The £26 linguine was terrible and totally not worth it and tempting was tiny! The place and ambience are amazing. I’m highly disappointed that the food didn’t deliver whatsoever. On the other hand, the one in Menai Bridge is 10/10. The one in Conwy is just as bad. I remember eating there, and the potatoes were raw. I sent it back to have it cooked properly, and it came back raw again. I’d love to meet the chef and see how they cook the food. Come on, guys, you have a great location and a superb place. What about the food??? I’m normally not so fussy about food, but if I’m going to pay so much money, I need my moneys worth.

A real let down and frustrating to have paid so much Disappointing as the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Food took quite a long time to come out, but we weren't too fussed. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing for the price. With the mussels and chowder it was just cream with slightly different herbs - chowder each mouthful the same (I suppose you could argue that's to be expected but it was really lacking in different textures and flavours). The hake was good quality fish but the accompaniments were very lacking in flavour or complement to the fish. I felt myself thinking "there are other fats than cream for cooking!". With fish that seemed as fresh as it was, I would think the chef would relish the opportunity to make some really tasty fully-rounded dishes where each ingredient complements the others. Very disappointed at the end of the day - waste of money. Sunday roast pictures look good but we were frustrated that we went there - it was because it looked nice from the outside.

The linguine was too soft and lacked the al dente texture I was expecting, with the flavor also being too light and not meeting my expectations. The soup was good, but the salmon cubes didn’t seem as fresh as I’d hoped. However, the ice cream was brilliant! The lemon and blueberry flavors were incredibly refreshing, and the vanilla ice cream wasn’t overly sweet, making it really enjoyable. Regarding the tiramisu, it truly stood out compared to the usual versions. Typically, after a few bites of tiramisu, the sweetness becomes overwhelming, making it hard to finish. However, this one was exceptionally smooth, with the sweetness perfectly balanced. I suspect they might have reduced the sugar in the recipe compared to traditional versions. This adjustment, combined with its silky texture, made it much easier to enjoy without feeling too rich or heavy. Although the flavors of the coffee liqueur and chocolate powder weren’t as pronounced, this actually worked in its favor. The subtlety allowed the dessert to shine without being overpowering, making it a delightful treat that didn’t overwhelm the palate. The careful balance of sweetness and smooth texture made it far more enjoyable than the overly sweet, dense tiramisus typically found elsewhere.

When we arrived at our hotel in Llandudno, we asked for recommendations for a fish restaurant. We were told Dylan's was the best place. We booked a table. First impressions were favourable. My food was good. My wife's was very disappointing. She ordered a crusted Hake fillet with roasted new potatoes. The potatoes weren't fully cooked. She complained. They said they would bring her new ones. We had both finished our meals by the time her potatoes came back.

Expensive for what it is. A simple meal with no trimmings is £25 and you don't get much. For a two course meal with sides you're looking at £50 without drinks Added to this a pint of local beer is nearly £8 and it's really nothing special and a low ABV Our meals came out at different times and although the staff were friendly enough there seemed a lack of coordination our urgency Left feeling disappointing, out of pocket and still hungry Edit: Oh, and they let DOGS into the restaurant which was actually pretty disgusting

Fabulous food and service. However this was spoiled a bit by a noisy dog. Also, we sat by a window which seemed to attract little black flies which were a bit of a nuisance. I had to cover my wine with a serviette. Most expensive wine I’ve ever had at £12:95 a glass

Food was expensive for what it was. Not the worst but certainly not the best. Service was great and had a friendly atmosphere. Feeling a little disappointed, hearing good things, but sadly didn't deliver.

We visited here as a large group where we had pre-ordered our meals in advance to assist their chefs. Unfortunately this venue missed the mark on quite a few areas. Positives: Nice location Nice looking building Staff were trying to be helpful where possible Negatives Completely forgot to bring out 2 meals until we reminded them Very expensive for basic foods. Think Wether spoons food at high prices. A burger without cheese costing over £20 a person which is literally served a burger and chips. (No side salad and cheese is an additional extra) Very expensive for drinks. Pint of lager was £7.25 and 3 glasses of wine was over £31! Burgers were dry, pizzas were almost impossible to cut, pork was tasteless. Overall my view on this place is that it is in prime location to get tourists through the door with the location and lavish looking restaurant. However from this point onwards things are progressively worse with very basic foods for a completely ludicrous price. Atmosphere is also a bit flat and they also accept dogs into the establishment which may put others off. Would not recommend and likely not to again

Had a great family meal here, food was good, service was great (thanks to our server Jess- super attentive and friendly!!) and we left happy for a nice stroll along the pier. Will definitely view your other establishments. If I’m honest, it was a bit expensive but is fine for a special occasion.

Nice enough place but it is overpriced. The desert was the highlight of the meal. Beer at £7.25 a pint too...come on.

We were early eaters so we didn't expect a great atmosphere. But the food was poor. Pre-prepared dishes heated in the microwave. Not great food by any means. Disappointed as we had booked on the strength of 'gastro pub' marketing.

Photos can not do this place justice. Impeccably decorated, lovely food and great views of the sea. I had the light bites fish and chips and my partner had a ham cheese panini. Both meals were lovely (and came fast and hot!) Staff were superb, constantly asking if our needs were met (were we warm enough, comfortable enough, did I want my open Prosecco in the fridge). We will be returning and would absolutely recommend. My only advice for the venue would be to display menu outdoors… we nearly missed this place as we only saw breakfast notice outdoors.
