A real let down and frustrating to have paid so much Disappointing as the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Food took quite a long time to come out, but we weren't too fussed. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing for the price. With the mussels and chowder it was just cream with slightly different herbs - chowder each mouthful the same (I suppose you could argue that's to be expected but it was really lacking in different textures and flavours). The hake was good quality fish but the accompaniments were very lacking in flavour or complement to the fish. I felt myself thinking "there are other fats than cream for cooking!". With fish that seemed as fresh as it was, I would think the chef would relish the opportunity to make some really tasty fully-rounded dishes where each ingredient complements the others. Very disappointed at the end of the day - waste of money. Sunday roast pictures look good but we were frustrated that we went there - it was because it looked nice from the outside.

Molly, Sean & Natalie treated us to a wonderful afternoon of gorgeous food & drinks to celebrate a best friend arriving from overseas! The photos really do speak for themselves, everything was plentiful and extremely tasty, served with great Welsh drinks (Local ale, Welsh Cider & Gin). We couldn't have asked for a better place to take our visitor from the US for their first meal out in North Wales. 2nd time to a Dylan's joint (previously for an evening meal at Menai) and I'll definitely be back! We had quite a bit of meat left over (as we wanted to leave room for desserts!), without question they brought us a box to take it all home to have some later!

Thank you Dylan's Llandudno for a wonderful afternoon. Myself and my two friends were served by Molly, Sean and Natalie who all greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make it a great experience. We went for the Sunday Lunch Club and the food was absolutely delicious, we couldn't believe the size of the spread, we had enough for a huge lunch and have still ended up bringing some home. Both the chicken and ham hock were cooked to perfection, the frazzle dusted roast potatoes were to die for, topped off by loads of gravy! We'll definitely be returning.

The price and portions are excellent. This is the best ham I have had in years and the sticky toffee pudding was such a delicious way to end the meal. The service was fantastic, shout out to Sean who checked us in, Natalie who took our drinks order, and Molly who served us our food and took a picture of us. I hope to visit before I leave!

Been to 2 of the Dylans before so knew what to expect. Not much change to the menu in 3 years. It is a bit pricey for a chicken burger and the beer was so overpriced. The linguine was too soft and lacked the al dente texture I was expecting, with the flavor also being too light and not meeting my expectations. The soup was good, but the salmon cubes didn’t seem as fresh as I’d hoped. However, the ice cream was brilliant! The lemon and blueberry flavors were incredibly refreshing, and the vanilla ice cream wasn’t overly sweet, making it really enjoyable. Regarding the tiramisu, it truly stood out compared to the usual versions. Typically, after a few bites of tiramisu, the sweetness becomes overwhelming, making it hard to finish. However, this one was exceptionally smooth, with the sweetness perfectly balanced. I suspect they might have reduced the sugar in the recipe compared to traditional versions. This adjustment, combined with its silky texture, made it much easier to enjoy without feeling too rich or heavy. Although the flavors of the coffee liqueur and chocolate powder weren’t as pronounced, this actually worked in its favor. The subtlety allowed the dessert to shine without being overpowering, making it a delightful treat that didn’t overwhelm the palate. The careful balance of sweetness and smooth texture made it far more enjoyable than the overly sweet, dense tiramisus typically found elsewhere.

Expensive for what it is. A simple meal with no trimmings is £25 and you don't get much. For a two course meal with sides you're looking at £50 without drinks Added to this a pint of local beer is nearly £8 and it's really nothing special and a low ABV Our meals came out at different times and although the staff were friendly enough there seemed a lack of coordination our urgency Left feeling disappointing, out of pocket and still hungry Edit: Oh, and they let DOGS into the restaurant which was actually pretty disgusting

We visited here as a large group where we had pre-ordered our meals in advance to assist their chefs. Unfortunately this venue missed the mark on quite a few areas. Positives: Nice location Nice looking building Staff were trying to be helpful where possible Negatives Completely forgot to bring out 2 meals until we reminded them Very expensive for basic foods. Think Wether spoons food at high prices. A burger without cheese costing over £20 a person which is literally served a burger and chips. (No side salad and cheese is an additional extra) Very expensive for drinks. Pint of lager was £7.25 and 3 glasses of wine was over £31! Burgers were dry, pizzas were almost impossible to cut, pork was tasteless. Overall my view on this place is that it is in prime location to get tourists through the door with the location and lavish looking restaurant. However from this point onwards things are progressively worse with very basic foods for a completely ludicrous price. Atmosphere is also a bit flat and they also accept dogs into the establishment which may put others off. Would not recommend and likely not to again

Overall average experience. Service was quite below par, me and my party were all in agreeance that everything seemed to be very slow and lacking. With the mains taking a while to come out as well as drinks being offered at the wrong time (really early on and then never again throughout the night). The food was okay but left some of my party quite unhappy with portion sizes being smaller than anticipated for their cost. I have been on a previous occasion a couple years back and felt the food tasted really good, but on this visit it felt like they were very short of the mark and leaving a lot to be desired. The pricing for the service and food felt a bit out of touch, but if these things improved then I can see it being reasonable as it has lots of potential with local produce and drinks being served and a decent atmosphere.

Staff are lovely and professional. They allowed the dog in and gave him water. But…. Eating out is about 1) Enough good food 2) Enjoyable atmosphere. The biggest positive I can give Dylan's is that it had a superb interior up until we sat down to metal top tables. On a Sunday night the service was slow they seemed to have just 1 or 2 serving staff, with kitchen hands actually bringing out the food themselves. When we asked for water for a table of 8 only 2 tumblers came out. The food was an unexpected journey of horror when we served a single nacho in their crab nachos, the bizarre of Calzone with Pork, turkey, ham, a mustard mayo sauce and most bizarrely pickles. It wasn't bad but they would do well to stick to simple stuff done well instead of serving food inspired on three continents.

Chalk and cheese experience regarding service between this outlet and the Conwy restaurant. We arrived just after 3pm after driving specifically down for lunch and having to struggle looking for parking on the promenade. The internet clearly stated that the restaurant was open for business. Upon arriving, informed by the cocky manager that they are not taking guests cos they are short of staff and staff are taking a break. After raising complaint that internet said they were open, he discounted my compliant in a rude manner. Had to ask for the senior manager to raise compliant. Still no action. Left hungry and very annoyed. Recommend to owners to either be open or closed and not half closed. Also to better staff the outlets. And to put staff through guest service training. Over £3 for a Diet Coke…the waiter we had was rude, our food came out all at different times and by the time the last person got our food, the first person was almost finished eating. The ambience was nice but it seemed the prices were jacked up just because of where it’s located and the view of the ocean. We went on Saturday night for a meal and I must say it was amazing. All the food was beautiful but the Sticky toffee pudding was to die for I've never tasted anything like it. The staff are very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble. Thank you.

We ate here on Tuesday and on Wednesday, prompted by an email from the restaurant I gave them a good review. However on Thursday it emerged that some friends, knowing that we were going for a birthday meal there, had contacted the restaurant and bought a special bottle of wine for us. This was the first we knew of it. We never received the bottle, nor was there any subsequent mention or apology and it took an effort by our friends to get reimbursement and any sort of apology to them. Decidedly unimpressive customer service to say the least.

Food was great and all the staff were fab, we did experience a bit of a wait on entry and also prior to ordering which was seemingly down to understaffing, the two staff who were on front of house were lovely and kept very busy!

It is quite overrated and not worthy of the money. The place looks nice but that’s all. The burger was just ok, good meat but the bread was not very fresh and it was cold. The calamari was good. The service was incredibly slow even though there are only a few tables. It took more than two hours to get a burger and go.

Overpriced drinks and careless staff made for a poor experience at Dylan's in Llandudno. Drinks arrived tepid and lacklustre and some staff were quite unfriendly or seemed frustrated to be serving. Wouldn't recommend on that basis.

Great menu, something for everyone and some unusual options too. Supports quality local suppliers. Four of us enjoyed seafood chowder (superb), tacos and seafood pasta. We were also tempted by the delicious desserts, a sharing trio and fabulous tiramusu. Friendly and helpful staff. Atmospheric venue overlooking North Bay, the sea was like a millpond last night! As always, we will be back!

Terrible service at Dylan’s We have been many times to the one in Anglesey and so good We waited over an hour for food that was rubbish I had to ask for cutlery and sauces No staff to ask The toilets were dirty No atmosphere Paid over £100 for lunch that would have got better good and service from McDonald’s! Awful! In response to your reply The restaurant was dead so being busy is an excuse! There was hardly any one in there one of the first things we noticed The fact I had to get up to find a never of staff to ask for cutlery and sauces in what is supposed to be a top restaurant is shocking No staff to be seen on the floor The whole place needs re vamping I’d of asked for my money back but probably would of been waiting an hour for that couldn’t wait to get out of there Deffo won’t be coming back or recommending

Food was really nice. Service was terrible, had to wait 30 mins for drinks, there were 10 of us and the drinks came out in 3 separate services (a long wait between each service) Asked for 2 childs menu to come out and omly 1 did, had to ask twice for second child meal. Wouldn't recommend because of customer service, if you want good service and food, however food was good, service needs to ip its game

What’s the point in having an online ordering system if when you arrive 3 hours later at the specified time you’re told we haven’t got your order and you’ll have to have what we have got left. Wafer thin chicken you can get from Tesco and certainly not what you’d expect for the prices charged. First time using and definitely the last. Avoid at all costs

Excellent home feel restaurant. Felt like we were being served in the owners front room, but in a fantastically good way.

Booked 2 nights for my birthday with my partner and our dog. Rose Tor was immaculate from top to bottom, very tastefully decorated. The location was excellent, and there was even off-road parking.

Horrific place, none of the taps are clean. Heineken tastes like vodka. AVOID! Tried to swap before posting this but they said no!
