Photos can not do this place justice. Impeccably decorated, lovely food and great views of the sea. I had the light bites fish and chips and my partner had a ham cheese panini. Both meals were lovely (and came fast and hot!) Staff were superb, constantly asking if our needs were met (were we warm enough, comfortable enough, did I want my open Prosecco in the fridge). We will be returning and would absolutely recommend. My only advice for the venue would be to display menu outdoors… we nearly missed this place as we only saw breakfast notice outdoors.

Just had a take out from here. I paid £17 for fish and chips and a small portion of chips. After a 20 minute wait, I was very disappointed. It was the smallest piece of fish I have ever seen and literally a handful of chips. Such a shame as the place itself is very nice.

Went here this morning for some breakfast to take away. Honestly the absolute sorriest excuse for a sandwich I have ever been served. Stale bread with butter dripping off it housing two tiny pieces of undercooked bacon. Grim and disgusting. Why anybody would chose to go into hospitality when they clearly hate food is beyond me. I suppose charging £5.50 for this abomination helps to fill the void in the heart of the business owner. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Called in here for breakfast on our way to holiday on Angelsey. Fantastic cafe. Very welcoming staff, and quality at reasonable prices. Not to mention super dog friendly. Keep up the great work.

Having visited the Waterfront on several occasions, my wife and I have always enjoyed it. The fact that it is dog friendly makes it even better, as we can take our dogs with us. You can take dogs inside, or site outside when the weather is nice. The staff are very friendly and polite and the service has been great. The free coffee or tea with the breakfast is a great deal.

My wife and I have used the Waterfront on several occasions and each time, the staff have been polite, courteous and friendly. They are very tentative and like to make sure all is okay. The facilities are good, the cafe is nice and clean and there is plenty of room. The outside seating is also nice in the warmer weather. We had a breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, and could not fault what we were served. Our 2 dogs have also been given some treats, which made the visits even better. We will be visiting again.

Bring back ninos. Was such a fantastic place. Really miss it.

Came here for a coffee and lemon drizzle cake, quality

We ordered a Sausage and Bacon Sandwich. Bacon was over cooked and the sandwich came open and looked like it has been thrown on to the plate. One slice of bread was cut in half but the other wasn't. Didn't look appetising at all and was very disappointed. Tables outside were full of stains and food remnants so hadn't been cleaned. Won't be returning to this place again.

Second time we visited here (my friend and I and our four children) but we didn’t get past the door as we were met by a rather rude lady shouting for us to wait to check she had tables free (we could see many free inside). She then went off and came back and said food would be 40 mins wait. Another customer stood up to offer his table but she told him off too saying it was her kitchen time not about tables. Safe to say we didn’t hang around. Such a shame as it was lovely when we visited earlier this year (again with the children). Huge thanks to Marmalade who made us all a wonderful lunch and made us all feel very welcome.

Haven't been in since it was taken over, but I have to say Wow, great staff lovely and clean place the ladies bathroom was stunning. Great choice on breakfast menu it was great to have a gluten free option.

Very nice place, dog friendly. Dont take any notice of the closed sign.

Had a waterfront burger it was the best I've had in a long while

Warm and welcoming staff, good service, comfortable and reasonably priced. A good place to get breakfast which was extremely filling the coffee( black) was top notch. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Been here before as had a dog with us and it was okay so popped in for a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich. Not a complicated order but according to the extremely rude they have reinvented a sandwich. According to this horrible woman a bacon sandwich is cold bacon on a slice of cheap bread with two triangles of bread next to it. Too many other places in Rhos on Sea to ever return there. Rude rude rude woman and I feel so sorry for the youngsters who work there who are hard working.

Great nosh. Lots of it, at a good price. All 4 of us had the large all-day breakfast, and it was really nice. Well-cooked and tasty, but not at all greasy. We went back twice in 5 days.

Admitedly this review is late and based on two visits last year. The location is good and a decent selection of food is available at what I deem are simlar prices to other local establishments. Also the ice cream section on the outside is good. However the three negatives are :- Twice you have given me the wrong food on two visits. The breakfast was bland and is down to cheap ingredients ( not the cooking). The attitude on the female staff member who appeared to be in charge is bad, I asked a menu and was met with a miserable closed reply and her rolling her eyes. There are far better places to eat in Rhos.

Ordered 2 full breakfasts with 2 coffees got drinks within a couple of minutes but then had to wait 35 min for breakfasts and had to ask staff how lond to the reply it's all cooked fresh when it arrived most food on plate was cold not that impressed The two young staff did their best with service a lot of room for improvement needed by owners

Check tour bank account we had two coffees and two ice creams £12.95 if that wasn’t bad enough when i checked my account they had taken a further £6 when i returned the girl said she didnt have time to check Not good

This is a great eatery with very friendly staff and a lovely owner. The cooked breakfast is delicious, and the menu covers all tastes and times of day. Expect seasonal prices, which is fine by me as you enjoy table service that matches the quality of offerings. You won't regret pulling a seat here!

Called here after seeing other reviews for breakfast and we were not disappointed at all. Excellent staff warm welcome on arrival. Staff very nice. Had waterside breakfast bacon,sausage,egg,beans,tomatoes , ash brown, mushrooms and toast. Breakfast was excellent. Will be back again on my next visit to the area.

The portion of chips we purchased was a ridiculously small amount compared to the price. We also asked for ketchup which we received in a tiny little jar thar was only enough for two chips.

Nice place. Had pulled pork sandwiches which were lovely and fries. Sun went in 5 minutes after w sat down which was typical. Good value and would call again.

Popped into The Waterfront for lunch with my two daughters and granddaughter on the way home from Pwllheli. I had poached eggs on toast while everyone else had jacket potatoes. All the food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and will visit again when next in the area.

First time to visit this cafe this week. Such lovely welcoming owner and staff. We had sandwiches for lunch made fresh. We will definitely go back.

A good cup of coffee after an afternoon walk

Lovely breakfast sat outside looking at the beach. Saw lots of dogs there so definitely dog friendly. Went to the toilets and the place inside is beautiful decorated, clean stylish, and this included the toilets. Only disappointment was the ice cream, not soft serve

Hands down the BEST iced coffee around! Absolutely wonderful staff who are always so happy and helpful. When we walked in, the girl on the counter remembered us from our last visit and knew exactly what we wanted! If you’re ever in rhos, get yourself a hazelnut iced coffee

I absolutely love coming here, my go to is the American Style Waffles with Bacon and Maple Syrup but honestly the highlight for me is the Iced Coffee! It's made with ice cream and a shot of espresso, I add Hazelnut Syrup and its actually to die for! The staff are so lovely and friendly and the owner walks around and is very involved with the front of house side of the business too which is so nice to see. I'd definitely recommend this place for the iced coffee alone, everything else is a huge added bonus

Second visit to the waterfront, as the first time the food and the service were excellent. The burger was huge and tasty, the chips were to die for. And reasonably priced too. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Will definitely be back.

Actually went to marmalade for breakfast as heard it was good, it wasn’t open even though their website says they were. Found the waterfront and am so glad marmalade was closed. Had a lovely breakfast, served by a lovely mannerly young man who clearly knows his job. Great food, great service and great price. Will come here again, won’t bother with marmalade again.

Recommend this lovely, very clean establishment. Great menu to suit all tastes & budget! I didn't get to eat my chips & Mayonnaise i ordered..never arrived!!...however, my friends Cherry Scone looked appetising & tasted great by all accounts! I still it 5 🌟 because of The Waterfront is a great place to visit anytime of the day with a friendly welcome.

We have just visited the Waterfront and will definitely be back. We were looking for somewhere to have a nice coffee where we could sit in as it was a little cool and windy. We spotted the dog friendly sign and went in. The waiter was lovely and friendly. Not long after we’d been sat down a lovely bubbly lady came and asked if it was ok for our dog to have a treat of some sausage. Our coffees came and they were hot and very nice as were the scone and chocolate cake. We were glad we stopped here. The staff were all all very friendly and attentive and we our well behaved dog was also made very welcome.

Awful Sunday dinner had today. Usually my local go to cafe for breakfast which is lovely however, Sunday dinner today as really disappointing. Tasteless and veg was soggy and appeared to of either came out of a can or frozen, none of it seemed fresh or hot. Plates were greasy too and hair found in food. Such a shame and wasn’t cheap either. Staff lovely as usual. Appeared quite cold as well inside. Would be nice to see a Sunday dinner menu to know exactly what you are getting/ price.

Couldn’t wait for our revisit. After a long journey we were starving! We both decided on the captains breakfast. It hit the spot! Quickly delivered to our table with tea for 2. The food is as always a good standard and the service is great. The cafe is just across the road from the harbour. Definitely return soon.

We found a sunny spot outside and enjoyed a large breakfast and a stack of pancakes.

Popped in without booking. Table available. Advised a 15 minute wait for food. Panini's and tea for 2 ordered. Served in 10 minutes. Plenty on the plate and great value for money. Happy to visit again in the future.

This is a lovely decorated restaurant with tables on street level and comfy couch type seating upstairs. The staff were very efficient and attentive and the food was lovely. We had paninis and tea and coffee . The toilet facilities though upstairs are very clean...

Ideal location on the sea front. Reasonable menu and food with a selection of snacks such as all day breakfast, or variations of. Good portions; the Captain’s Breakfast kept me going all day. Friendly staff and good value for money.

Food OK, service good. Outside area needs a good scrub.

Welcoming and friendly staff. We had the "Captain's Breakfast" and it was delicious, hot and very filling. Definitely one of the best we have had for a while.
