Was in this morning for a bit of breakfast. Welcomed by superb customer service accompanied by excellent COVID safety guidance. Excellent Breakfast menu, from pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup through to the full breakfast. Both very tasty and well worth than money £4.50 - £5!! Great value. Noticed they had a superb lunch menu with lovely sandwiches through to daily soup of the days and stew!! Definitely worth a visit if on the Cregagh road and looking a wee bite. Keep up the good work. We were the mortgage advisors with my DA btw 😂

Blethers is one of a handful of cafes/coffee shops very close to where we're staying and it has turned into our regular favorite spot already. You know it's consistently good even just based on how many regulars they have come in and wait for seats if it's busy. Really nice people, good food, and the prices are better than the place a few doors down.

Called into this little place after my friend and I had been to a school reunion. Bright and welcoming and quite busy. Tables were cleared promptly and our order was taken.. I had the bacon, French toast and maple syrup. It was lovely and really filling. My friend had chicken soup (an enormous bowl) and she said it was lovely. Really nice atmosphere and staff really nice and helpful. I will not hesitate to come back. The Ulster Frys looked delicious as well.

This place is a gem, its not fancy, staff don't fawn all over you and they wont win any Michelin Stars...but...Staff are friendly, helpful and really pleasant. The food is lovely, well cooked, tastefully served and not too hard to pay for. I recommend Blethers unreservedly.

Called in for morning coffee and scone but ended up with a bacon bap with tea. Hit the spot for me as mustard was available, not the case in some eateries. Good selection of scones, cake and squares of various sorts. Not hard to pay either.

My parents are regulars here and living the other side of Belfast I don’t get very often. Called into today with my daughter on our way to Forestside shopping centre. I had the “New fry” which included 2 rounds of toast (their toast is one of the nicest I’ve tasted), 2 sausages,2 bacon, fried egg, beans, mushroom & tomato, my daughter had scrambled egg & toast, huge portion of egg & we’d 2 glasses of OJ all for £11. Brilliant value for money & staff are lovely. Loads of regulars in too. The strawberry pavlova looked amazing. Just wish I lived closer

Arrived at This cafe around noon and was welcomed by a very pleasant waitress who was clearing tables ‘after a busy’ spell. I didn’t need a menu as I knew I wanted an Americano coffee and a scone.... there was a lot of varieties of scones on offer (however it seemed that the majority included chocolate, which is not a favourite of mine. I ordered a cinnamon and apple scone and accepted the offer of having the scone heated a little. The restaurant was ‘half full’ offering a seating capacity of approximately 35; the seating area appears to have been decorated in 2 sections - 1. Lower section immediately upon entry has seating for 10 (3 tables), and there’s a strange little hand wash sink in the corner - which doesn’t seem to be used. Then 2. Upper section (only one tiny step) into the main seating area which has banquette seating / individual chairs and tables - most of which seat 4 people. The little place was buzzing.... however background music was difficult to hear due to the constant conversations, the noise from the steamer and cutlery hitting crockery! I noticed the grade 5 on the door as I entered so I expected a clean hygienic spot - which it certainly appeared to be. Having chosen a table at the window I was served quickly & pleasantly. The scone tasted lovely with both apple & cinnamon easy to distinguish, and the Americano was hot, served in a wide brimmed cup & saucer. Whilst seated I noticed several customers using the carry out service, and that there were a few tables and chairs outside for those who prefer to eat al fresco and watch the world go by. Orders for Pineapple delight, mint cheesecake, scrambled egg, chicken salad sandwich, soup and stew were overheard - and the menu certainly looked as though the selection was wide and varied. As time went in it became apparent that there were many ‘locals’ taking the opportunity to dine here - the staff recognised the frequent clients and made everyone feel welcome. A very accommodating young man appeared to take most of the orders and it was interesting to hear him make recommendations to customers and I must give credit to the manner in which he conversed with his clients - great customer care... well done! Another observation during my brief visit which may be helpful .... a wheelchair user and others with mobility restrictions can visit here - the front section requires only on small step. A pleasant mid-day break for me in what appears to be a busy community meeting place for locals and a stop off for work men, mothers & babies - all ages appear welcome. I would certainly recommend Blethers Coffee House and Eatery (my good sampling was minimum), but it is a hive of activity at mid day!

Looked good from the outside but a little grubby inside. They maybe need to freshen it up a little. We had a cheese sandwich and sausage roll and a couple of tray bakes. The sandwich was pretty poor but the rest was nice enough. Average prices. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful as seems to be the case in Belfast overall.

DO NOT ORDER VIA JUST EAT We ordered dairy free ice cream, unfortunately Mauds had run out for the evening so I requested that the order be cancelled and refunded. Apparently when you cancel an order after 5mins they have the right to take your money with no refund… even though it was not our fault there was no dairy-free ice cream left. I’ve been in contact multiple times to explain the situation and have gotten no further. Would not recommend!!!
