Veryeasy to find what we wanted. Ordering a breeze. Delivery prompt. Food very tasty.

Food was good, as always, but I found what looked like a piece of metal wire in my noodles, which is the reason for this review.

We really wanted to like this place as it is so hard finding a good Chinese. Unfortunately we ignored the bad reviews and took a gamble. Wrong move. delivery girl lovely and can't fault the time as it was on time. Unfortunately, the positives end there. the egg fried was the only remotely edible part. The kung po chicken had an artificial taste. The curry sauce tasted as if it was not properly prepared from a packet and the foo young was grey with gristly meat. We will not be returning.

Came down from Glasgow on holiday and if this is the quality of Chinese in northern England then I’m afraid yous are in serious trouble because this place absolutely stinking. It is by far the worst Chinese meal I’ve ever had in my whole entire life.

Ordered a munchie box. Granted New Year’s Eve. Ordered at 8.05 and it arrived at 10:30 which I didn’t mind and appreciated it was a busy period. However after waiting so long, no freebies or price reduction, Chips were soggy, and it was possibly the most bland Munchie box I have ever had.basically paid £30 including delivery for chicken nuggets, onions and chips (which was soggy). The only positive is the delivery driver was pleasant and polite.

Have never had to write a review about somewhere before but, we placed our order as normal using their own website and order was accepted fine and after just over an hour phoned up to question the wait time as it normally doesn’t take anywhere near this, lady answered the phone didn’t even seem to know about the order and said it was being started and will be with us in roughly 30 minutes, another hour goes by and we try to ring 9 times and they all ring through and guess what no order turned up, thanks guys really nice end to the year 👍🏻👍🏻

Second time ordering from here and was just as good as the first time. I have had beef curry, crispy duck with pancakes, large pancake roll and Won Ton soup.....all delicious, piping hot and delivered very quickly. I Highly recommend Blessing House.

Just beautiful food, so much meat too. I adore the noodles from Blessing House. Just perfect and no cooking for me…. Got enough of that over Christmas

Utterly disgusting. We ordered a take-away and after 1hr 20 the food arrived cold, dry and the flavour was bland, even the curry. All 4 of us couldn’t eat our meals. We phoned to complain as it was so bad and were told the food left hot, but we must have been last in the delivery queue. We feel conned and wasted a nice family evening in. Don’t waste your time and money!!

Avoid at all costs, “Food” arrived 1 and a quarter hours after ordering, it was nearly cold. Salt and pepper chicken was like rubber, curry was tasteless and slimy, chicken and mushroom was a gloopy tasteless mess. Total waste of money and no refund when we complained, we asked them to come and take it back but they refused.

Best chinese takeway in the area! We ordered chowmein, chicken curry, fried rice and prawn toast. Wow the food was so delicious, I am usually not a fan of chinese takeaway but this has been a biggest hit ever. Little gem in St Anne's. We highly recommend!!

Really enjoy this restaurant. We always go for the all you can eat buffet. It’s not the usual hot plate kept warm for hours. Everything is freshly prepared and brought to your table. You can order as much as you want of any dish. After munching on prawn crackers and chilli sauce we decided on our order. We always start with the soups. Hot and full of flavour. Then we move onto a mixed platter containing crispy seaweed (gorgeous), chicken satay skewers, prawn toast, bbq ribs, samosa and spring rolls. The BEST starters we ever had. After a break (you will need it) the main courses. We ordered OK chicken, chicken in oyster sauce, chicken curry, chicken foo yung, chicken fried rice and chicken noodles. OMG the food is superb. Portion sizes are great and you could always order more (if you have space) of any dish. Small little restaurant that needs a bit of music to enhance atmosphere but delicious food. Well worth a visit next time you’re in St Anne’s. We will definitely be back 🙂

Came in with granddaughter on Saturday night, bearing in mind my granddaughter doesn't eat Chinese normally, she absolutely loved it, as I did also. The food was great, staff was very helpful as granddaughter very fussy. Definitely will be going again very soon. Thanks to the staff and chef, lovely evening x

The food was absolutely disgusting. Highly don’t recommend coming here and definitely will not be returning to this restaurant. The food was not fresh at all, and tasted like plastic. The chicken tasted fishy and not edible. We ordered the all you can eat buffet and after ordering the food we barely even touched it after tasting a little bit of it. After we complained about how horrible the food was, they insisted that all the food was cooked from fresh and that they had never received complaints before and that we were the first. Which is clearly not true as there are quite a lot of complaints on Google. The total price that I paid was £72 for three people, and we left the restaurant hungry, which is a ridiculous amount to pay after barely eating any of the food. They even used the police to threaten us if we didn’t pay and we never said that we wouldn’t pay, we were just complaining how terrible the food was. We wanted to speak to the owner of the restaurant who did not come out to speak to us and we were sat waiting in the restaurant for ages, so in the end we got fed up and had to pay the total amount. But we will never be returning to this place ever again. What horrible food and service, no manners at all. I hope that whoever reads this review does not go to this restaurant and best to avoid it.

The soups were spot on Yesterday the curry we order tasted off like really weird mushy and powdery at the same time the texture wasn’t edible at all and the salt and pepper chicken the chicken non exists and no flavour didn’t eat any just the soups

Delicious food. Had fried noodles and salt and pepper chicken. Fast and yummy. The prawn toast is so thick and crunchy. Will be ordering again.

Very unpleasant, noodles very nice however crispy duck fatty, beef slimy and chewy, black bean sauce thick, congealed and grey in colour, egg fried rice bland, salt and pepper chips oven chips, service poor despite there only being two couples in the restaurant. Cash only! Had to nip out to cash machine after ordering where there was a charge for using.

Awful customer service when we tried to ring through an order. Very rude staff on phone - no customer service skills at all - couldn’t even answer the phone in a correct manner. We recieved a leaflet this morning of the menu - however when rang up prices were more expensive.

Small cosy Chinese restaurant with pleasant Chinese background music. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food is very good, although I always find Chinese outlets tend to use a bit too much sugar and salt.(Maybe just my taste). Would recommend you give it a go. Would try again. I had satay chicken skewers, ribs, egg fried rice, crispy chilli beef(nice), and a pork dish with the wife.x

Really enjoyed the food. I’ve ordered many times from here and it’s always cooked and presented well. A little pricey now but businesses have increasing costs.

Please don't order from this place. The food we got was £24.00. A banquet was ordered a box of deep fried food arrived. Cold unedable 2small spring rolls. 2broken ribs. 2sesami toast 2 triangles fillo pastry. And some manky seaweed all cold. Needs too do better. Stay clear please the worst meal. No Allergens explained. I have took photos of this muck.

Crispy duck was lovely. But the chicken noodle soup was too thick and flavourless. Had to add my own Seasoning and hot water.

It was Okay, nowhere near as good as the last time I ordered a few weeks ago on a Saturday.

Having usually been happy with blessing house extremely disappointed this time . What was meant to be sweet and sour sauce turned out to be chilli sauce Having my grandchildren and us pour the sauce over our dinner which cost £38 no one could eat anything. !!

Had a takeaway from here on a quiet evening in November. Was OK, but nothing to write home about. The starters were the best part.... but that seems to be a common theme with Chinese takeaways. The restaurant was empty. Maybe that was a sign. The mains were a little uninteresting. The beef was of poor quality (beef in black bean), and the chicken curry lacked flavour. The staff member behind the counter was very friendly and welcoming, so full marks there. I will give it another try in due course.

Order arrived half an hour late and was cold whoever packing the order decided to put a freezing can of coke in the bag with the hot food had to microwave everything might as well have cooked it myself the amount of time it took to deliver it made a complaint via just eat won’t order again !!

This has to be the worst sweet & sour prawns and Szechuan beef we've ever had. It all tasted of off oil and there was no spice to the beef which tasted like plastic. Will not be ordering from here again, we threw it away after a couple of bites and we eat anything...yes it really was that foul.

I was disappointed by most dishes: the fried shrimp was made of flattened shrimps which made them dry and not juicy or tasty, the meat in the chow mein was dry too and the spring roll was 99% bean sprouts. It would have been nice to have a few different vegetables in the chow mein. The dumplings were OK. We will not order from this restaurant again.

The food was fantastic. We went for the all you can eat menu. Loads of food all really tasty. We liked the fact that the food was cooked fresh as you ordered it. Lovely staff. You just keep ordering until you have had enough.

Awful waited 1Hr 30 mins for food to be delivered and it arrived cold, bland and a not anywhere near what there competitors are doing total sell out what a shame 😕 Salt and pepper mixed box was half a bag of chips and some chicken thrown in with Ribs from a small Rodent from the looks of it even the dog turned its nose which says alot 🤔

Won’t let me record that this was almost an hour late! Sent a message when it was already 25mins late that would be there in next 5 mins, then removed the time and just said will be late! I rang and they just said they were busy so that’s why it was late, but I had pre-ordered and they paid that no attention. No apology or offer of any sort of compensation just “we’re busy tonight”. Last time I will use them.

Staying in an apartment nearby we decided to have takeaway. I'm a massive Chinese food fan and I've gotta say, the dishes I had from Blessing House were superb! If you're staying near by I'd highly recommend trying the food. We didn't eat in but collected and the restaurant looked clean and well presented.
