Blaze and Glaze Restaurant in Belfast

Terrible food waited an hour and half for food service terrible never got food that was order and was on the bill so expected to be paid for we tried not to complain I'll never be back

Absolutely disgusting! Has to be the worse chicken I have tasted. It was just mush. The menu makes it sound good but what they delivered was just frozen food put in the fryer. The pizza was very nice that must have been a different cook. The waiter apologised and took money off the bill but would never go near the place again

Arrived for 2.30pm. Waitress was lovely. Lunch menu is more expensive and offers much less than what is stated on the website. We where advised what was advertised on the website is only available from 5pm onwards which it doesn’t actually state. Also advised the kitchen where still prepping so not all shown on the lunch menu was available either. What we did opt for was tasty but took a while to arrive. Chips where cold and coleslaw was sliced dry salad, had to request mayo to add myself. Expected much better & left quite disappointed.

Had my 1st meal here the other night. Heard great reviews from my wife and daughter / read some mixed reviews on here so was looking forward to it all day. I have to say I was not left down. Food was great as was the service. I really could not find anything major to complain about. 3 of us were very happy with everything. I will be returning when I am back in Belfast that's for certain

My daughter ordered a meal for 3 of us, the restaurant took our order with no problem. They then rang back 15 minutes later to inform us that they would not be delivering our order. I then rang to enquire and was told we were to far away for a delivery. I told the fella that we had got deliveries from them several times before without a problem but he said the drivers weren’t going that far down the Falls Rd. Seems the Falls/Clonard area is still a bridge too far for some.

Right so 1st thing is we had to sit right beside the toilet so everyone going in and out of toilet stared at us which was so uncomfortable. A family of 5 including 1 year old baby and there was no high chairs. Food was ordered at 1740 no starters. I had to complain at 1720 as no food had arrived and it was only 2 burgers and chicken stack and steak. Was told they would bring it out next as they are really busy. I can only imagine how long we would have waited if I didn’t ask. 2 tables that came in after us one of which had 8 people hot served before us. Now for the food. We asked for the onion rings on my daughters chicken stack to be separate. They where separate but on my wife’s plate! My wife asked for the medallion steaks which as per the menu came with cheese and bacon mash and asparagus it came out with sauté potatoes. We asked for mash and asparagus, mash came 10 mins later cold still no asparagus which we where informed when we where paying they never even had any! I had to order a Tennessee burger with pulled pork. Cheese and bacon as for some reason the bacon and cheese burger is not on the dine out to help menu. When my burger came what was it ? You guessed it a bacon and cheese burger with lettuce, onions and tomato on it, like really ? So no pulled pork which was a more expensive burger at that and they still charged me for it ? My son asked for burger and rib combo and when it came they dropped his ribs on the floor hitting my one year old on the foot as they feel. They didn’t offer any reduction in the menu only a free desert which I was never going to stay as I wanted to leave when the food came only my wife asked me to stay. Worst dinner experience ever, and yes I paid half price due to the government incentive but they still got there full money for the worst food and service I have had ever. Not even did a supervisor come and apologise to use nothing. I know a few people who did have tables booked and they will not be attending now and I will be telling everyone about it.

Interesting black decor. On my most recent visit on 21st Jan my only complaint was that the restaurant was incredibly warm and then increasingly damp.

A-Z awful. Dirty table. Sticky menus. Inedible rib starter and rubber steak for mains. Don’t mention the sides. Thankfully I’ve suggested desert elsewhere.

Had dinner here last night with Husband and daughter. It was her choice and what a great choice. Jason our waiter was very knowledgable, pleasant and helpful. My husband went for the eat all you can ribs offer which is on a Monday night. I went for the steak and rib combo with 2 sides, Garlic potatoes and Coleslaw. Daughter went for the Sirloin combo with fries and broccoli. Steaks were cooked to perfection, both medium and the waiter asked us to cut into them to make sure they were cooked to our . liking. They were melt in the mouth yummy. Husband battled his way through three portions of ribs and then had to give up. They were fall off the bone and my fav was the Jack Daniels one. Large portions so bring your appetite. Excellent food.

Super friendly staff great food highly recommended. You will not leave hungry. I think the manageress was Orla 👍👍👍👍👍

Went here for the first time for our anniversary and were amazed! Starters and mains were delicious and service was great! Made to feel welcome and our server explained everything to us and constantly checked how we were getting on! Definitely will return!

Visited here with family for dinner and had an amazing experience! The ribs are to die for! The staff were incredibly friendly and happy - really made us feel at home. We ordered appetizers and main dishes and we devoured it all - the highlights were the buffalo wings and the baby back ribs (especially with Jack Daniels BBQ glaze). You won’t find better ribs than here! Highly recommend!

Had booked for a family meal following a days christmas shopping!was so hopeful after reading great reviews and it was close by the apartment we rented for the night away! Firstly would like to say out waiter was excellent and the staff were all very welcoming and friendly! The general vibe was good and we had a couple of cocktails which were nice so were hopeful for a great night! The dinner however was a totally different story! Opted for the meal deal of a main and starter for £20 each! Starters were average but edible! Had to wait an hour after starters for the main,at which point we alerted the waiter who was very apologetic and said that the food was just ready and had been "put on the window" and he was going to get it. Another 10mins later the food started to arrive! We had ordered a beef salad of some description and 3 steaks, 2 of these with creamy mushroom sauce! All steaks ordered were wrong,the well done one was rare etc so we swapped about to try make do at the table however still had to ask for one to be cooked further as it haf blood running out(none of us were willing.to eat that although we appreciate yhats how some people do like it 🤢) The chips on all plates were cold. The "creamy mushroom sauce" was a small portion of drymushrooms. NO sauce... just dry mushrooms in a wee white ceramic dish! Asked another waitress that was passing if she could see if the sauce was coming as the meals were getting colder. 10mins later the other steak came back with 2 small dishes of the "creamy mushroom sauce". At this time the rest of the guests meals had went completely cold while waiting for the sauces and another side of coleslaw that was ordered at the start. The creamy sauce was just watery milky stuff poured on top of the mushrooms and just ran over the plate like water when poured on. The steak that was well done was so tough the steak knife just about went through but it was too tough to chew! We asked to speak to the manager however he never appeared. Meals werent edible so they deducted mains from bill. We only had to pay 45 for the 4 starters which we felt was still pricey considering we waited 2 1/2 hours for food in total and left with nothing. They did offer us a chance to reorder however after the 2.5 hours we thought it would be handier to go back to the apartment and get takeout! Definitely wont be back

First time visiting the restaurant on Thursday night our server was called Orla who was very welcoming and friendly offering her help with the menu and recommendations. The food was great with the ribs being their speciality I ordered the Peri Peri version and was not disappointed, overall an enjoyable meal and excellent service.
