First time visiting here today. We came before a gig at the 02. The food here was simply outstanding, fantastic service, great atmosphere, the staff were friendly and helpful. I can 100% recommend this place and we shall be back as much as we can. Simply perfect!

Food was amazing , staff really helpful when choosing food, very knowledgable about the food and tastes, happy to spice it up ( or down) to suit. Decor was lovely although I thought it was a little chilly . Prices very very reasonable for the centre of Birmingham . Ideal place to eat before theatre or glee club . Will definitely go back .

A regular customer here...noticed the starters are smaller than they used to be?..hope it was a one off..

Wonderful food and service. So pleased we chose this restaurant to eat dinner at. Great recommendations for food and drink. Will definitely recommend to friends! Edit - 3 hours after leaving the restaurant, my mum realised she’d left her handbag behind! We were pretty distraught and thought we might not see it again but when we called the restaurant, the manager said he had tried to find us but couldn’t so had kept it to one side. Such honesty isn’t always easy to find these days and we really appreciate the staff at this restaurant who exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much guys!

Got in while it was quiet and was able to relax. Very pleasant atmosphere and the food was delicious. Great portion sizes and the parathas are a great touch. Rice is standout and the house specials are worth the price. Not too expensive and there's enough to take away.

Amazing! Really Made our day, this restaurant is the best Indian ever. Great staff, and food speaks for itself; everything absolutely fantastic! We will be back for sure next time we visit UK and Birmingham. All thumbs up!

Everything about our experience here was just perfect! From the attentive and knowledgeable staff to the delicious food and variety. We tried the Kadai Kurchan with chicken and the Paneer Tikka Labab, both exquisite. The papadom and the dips were so flavorful and married perfectly together. My only tip is to inform the staff about the level of spice you’re comfortable with! We will definitely be visiting again, kudos to the chef and staff!

Found this restaurant from a search on Trip advisor, which stated it was number 1 for Indian food. I have to admit that it was the best Indian meal I have ever had. Really tasty food, great presentation and friendly staff.

This restaurant was the best we've experienced in Birmingham. The food was superb and Ahmed gave an excellent service. I would recommend this place to anyone.

sorry I refuse to patronise anywhere which tells paying customers what clothes they can wear and bans hats. Hats have traditionally always been part of smart attire, so the guidelines are completely contrary and, in my opinion, discriminatory.

First time here, and I will definitely be back. I ordered chicken tikka for my starter and I was served chicken 65, I thought they had brought the wrong starter until they explained this was their boneless chicken starter. Chicken in a yoghurt and spice batter. I didn't eat the batter, but did eat the chicken inside, that was tender and cooked to perfection. Our wonderful waiter asked if there was a problem as I hadn't ate the batter and there was not. Even so when. I ordered another drink he said there was no charge for the drink because he felt I had not enjoyed my food. I explained I had and he still insisted the drink was on him. Very kind and showed how much they care about their customers having a good experience. I also had the butter chicken and it was delicious, generous portions that were perfectly cooked, I couldn't finish it all as there was a lot. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be back the next time I'm in Birmingham, I only wish I had got the waiters name to give him the credit he deserved for his fab service, attention to detail and kindness.

I will ALWAYS come back here to eat. This is the first Indian restaurant I have dined at, that the meals were perfectly made. Every dish I tried was delicious and the spices were well balanced and not over powering. The portions were great and very affordable. Service was lovely as everyone was considerable and very friendly.

Gorgeous food. We had a madras and a butter chicken and both were beautifully fresh. I love a hot curry and it is difficult to find a madras that's got a nicely texture sauce and a good flavour that isn't just heat with no substance. This really did hit that spot, it had a very rounded taste and a wonderful heat. The naan was wonderfully soft and thin which gave it that lovely slight crisp you want in fresh naan. The accompaniments to the poppadoms were all lovely. The diced onion had loads of fresh coriander which I am always a fan of. For reference we had 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 soft drinks, 2 curries, poppadoms, 4 sides and it came to around £80. This was pricer than a standard Indian but the quality was also much higher. They also do cocktails and an old fashioned that doesn't feature Jack daniels though I didn't sample them I will certainly be back to do so.

Visited this restaurant a few times now for a pre theatre dinner. Always lovely food, and great service everytime. Will continue to visit when we come into Birmingham to the theatre.
