Black Sheep Coffee - St Andrews in Fife

The coffee is lovely but the screen tapping order system is a pain in the neck. I don’t accept that this is to improve service, it’s to reduce jobs. 3 times I had to tap in my coffee to get it right. The guy in charge when I was there is very passionate about what he serves, checking you have the right order but I’m inclined to think just take the order from me in the first place.

Fab coffee shop. Staff are always so nice and helpful, coffee is great, nice array of sweet treats and I love that you can also pay for coffees for someone who needs one. Had a really creamy delicious flat white, really recommend

Nice stop for decent coffee (although berry mix not avail, ), sometimes hard to get seat as to many sitting around on laptops with no drink in front of them .Always friendly staff.

First time visiting and I will be back! Welcoming atmosphere and staff very friendly. Big shout out to Calum though - by far one of the best baristas I've ever come across. Very friendly, great attitude and made my latte perfectly! A credit to the workplace, I hope they realise how lucky they are to have him

Rude staff. The male server with lots of tattoos was overly sexist and rude towards myself and my friend. Made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Won't be back.

We went here for a cup of tea as it is dog friendly. That was a big plus. However you can only seem to order via the screen opposite the counter and this was not easy with lots of people milling around. We found seats towards the back and the lighting was poor which was probably just as well as it felt slightly grubby. My husband wanted to use the toilet and said it was filthy and certainly the queue of people waiting to use the one toilet would not have allowed a clean. Overall not somewhere I would return to as a parent of a student.

Amazing customer service, very friendly nice and very quick service and coffee is wonderful. The two ladies were servicing this morning were so kind and awesome.

Went here for an evening hot chocolate with friends. Was served by a man with tattoos and he was shouting to customers that we couldn’t order waffles although they were on the menu. When we sat down we heard him say to oncoming customers that he was too tired to make waffles so not to order them. Felt like his customer service was shocking and didn’t feel welcomed wouldn’t recommend or return

3 coffee, not too hot, 2 smoothies and 2 packet of pretzels. Cost was extortionate at £28. Definitely won't be back, when queried was told , you know that you are in St Andrews. Very condescending.

Stopped in this morning for a quick breakfast for the family. Got two smoothies, two lattes and croissants, muffin and cinnamon roll. All good, and nice service from young man behind the counter.

No idea why this place thinks it can charge close to £5 for what is very average, bland coffee. It wasn’t even hot and you have to order at a computer. Go to a proper Indy cafe or stay home and out the cafetière on.
