Black Sheep Coffee - Liverpool One in Liverpool

Came here for coffee with my wife. Great coffee and pastries but you have to order in the computer screen by the counter (you can’t talk to the barista to order) or via your phone online. Took 20 mins to get our order and the place wasn’t busy, so just make sure you have some time to burn! Not a quick splash and dash place! Good coffee tho, 4 out of 5

Nice place to rest up after some mall stomping in the One. Good cosy place with nice coffee. Gimme a robusta for my boost. Opens early for breakfast too.

The most sad looking and grumpy staff. We waited over 10 minutes for 2 drinks and cakes. Cups and cutlery were filthy so had to ask for a clean cutlery. Cake was nice thus 2 stars. I wouldn't recommend.

Nice spot to start the day off. Ordered and paid on a kiosk screen- I found this fast and efficient. Pastries were lovely.

Amazing waffles and fantastic that they open from 6.30am! Really friendly staff quick service! Nice coffee too! Nice and clean and comfortable seating.

Dismal as it gets! Atmosphere zilch attitude plentiful from staff!! Service with a smile definitely not !! Manners non existent!!! Avoid at all costs especially if your down in the dumps.

Great for a lovely cup of Joe's teas. Outside and inside seating. Handy as a location to meet friends or to have a drink before a journey

Having no hot food available seems bad .All because the part of the screen wasn't showing on the screen.Realky bad it was the third visit . Do like the coffee

Friendly staff, good coffee and good ambience. It could be bit crowded at times but there are plenty of seats. It is also a dog friendly establishment.

We had trudged and skidded round the wet slithery floors of Liverpool One trying to find a coffee shop and eventually came across this Appeared full but in fact was full of four seat tables with a single occupant "working" on phone or laptop so occupying all the space Tables full of discarded cups and pools of spilled coffee but hey..this is post-brexit Britain so we expected little else TIDY UP!!!!.....They can do it abroad! Had to serve ourselves to a wet table and seating outside, again dirty and full of discarded debris To be fair the coffee was OK which saved them from a one star review

Popped in while in Liverpool One on 31st October, and asked to buy a bag of fresh coffee beans. The staff member got me the coffee and I asked her if she knew when it was roasted (most fresh coffee I buy has a ‘roasted date’ on and I ask as a certain time from roasting works well in my Sage coffee machine). She said she didn’t know when it was roasted on and just told me it had a batch number on it but that didn’t resemble any date. I was carrying a lot of shopping so said I would still take the coffee, I tapped my card and she put it in one my bags. Later that evening I got the coffee out. There on the back was a ‘best by’ date on it next to the batch number. The ‘best by date’ was September 23 and I purchased on 31st October!! There is no way to speak to anybody, the number you dial just gives a recorded message, asking you to send an email in. I have emailed in and had a reply to say il be refunded, no apology. Im still waiting for the refund to go back in. Shame as I like to support coffee shops by setting up subscriptions, if the coffee had of been ok I would of loved to of subscribed but shame I never got to try with it being a month over its best.

Disappointed visit to a coffee shop. No friendly greeting from a batista just some touch screens with a very confusing menu to order from, if you're there for your first visit nothing really tells you what's on offer and you spend ages scrolling through a screen menu to find something you might like. Once you ordered its standing around until you get called to collect your order- not in a friendly way, more like an order. No friendly smile nothing. My Norwegian waffle- well it wasn't worth paying £6.09 for it and eating out of cardboard, coffee not even worth mentioning, lukewarm and not great. Not going here again. Over priced for poor quality food, drink and service

Didn’t mind the screen to order but did really mind the wait I had for one latte large (which is small/medium) in other cafes and 1 millionaire shortbread that is the smallest slice on the market. Gutted as I really liked the look of outside

We got confused by the diy ordering screen ( early) the very nice lad took our order and even brought it over to us. Good coffee and almond croissant

Looked nice inside with plenty of seating inside & out. Felt a bit lost once inside not realising we'd walked right past the automated machines (like mcdonalds) for ordering. Ordered 2 pineapple teas thinking they sounded exciting on a hot day, they were served immediately. Saw that the "teas" looked like a squirt of some syrup and water/ice. Felt quite expensive for that ...just short of £9 for two diluted drinks. It may have been a slightly better experience if the staff had spoken to us or smiled. Neither seemed happy or want to speak. I won't return.

Always want to support an independent place, but honestly the surliest, rudest, most miserable coffee shop staff ever. Tables were dirty, coffee average and customer service non existent. Service with a sneer. You’ve got coffee shops either side of you, so I’ll be going to them in future

Drinks were fine, shame about the customer service! 3 members of staff working, not a smile between them - looked like they didn't want to be there!

This must be the best coffee in Liverpool City Centre and the service is friendly and quick. A nice touch is the free water to have it’s your coffee

£4.79 for an iced tea which turned out to be cold water, 2 ice cubes and a tea bag. Thought it would be pre-infused or with added syrups but no. Load of overpriced rubbish.

Your order from a big screen when you enter. Coffee, waffles and pizza. The pizza is incredible! A lovely new place to eat in Liverpool One

The setting is quite nice but the service let them down. After a bit of a wait my wife enjoyed her cappuccino but my iced latte was not great.

Best coffee shop for quite a distance, fast efficient and very friendly! Always really thick delicious crema or finessed milk on my coffees when most others looks like a depressed americano dish water. I go almost every other day! Ordered a smoothie bowl today which I didn’t know they did, got all kinds in! Looks incredible too, slightly pricey though at over £10 but it’s banging so it’s alright haha! My servers were the girl with the curly red hair, the gent with a yellow beanie, and the young lass with pig tails and glasses! They were boss, Well in guys 🤛🔥

Absolutely love it here, go 3/4 times a week for my coffees (hot or cold). Love that you can order on the screens and also brill service. Always so quick with the drinks, I think the longest I’ve waited is 5 minutes even when very busy. Only criticism is sometimes when adding a syrup there’s a bit too much in them! It all sinks to the bottom and is hard to mix in (I guess this can be the case with iced coffees but would be a lot easier if it had been mixed in with the coffee when hot so it doesn’t sink).

This coffee shop is located in Liverpool One shopping area where there are no independent coffee shops. We normally prefer to support small independent coffee shops rather than the corporate chain shops. However, on this occasion, we regretted the decision as the coffee was very expensive at more than £7 for two flat whites and worse still they did not accept cash. We did not find cash to be a problem in any other outlets in Liverpool.

Asked for a ceramic cup.15/4/23 Was told none available If I am paying this much for a coffee I would expect if I am sitting in to have a ceramic cup, Plus it isn’t good for the environment

Visited Chester outlet and now Liverpool. Ace place. Very good coffee, super staff, and a very comfortable place to sit and have a coffee and a bite. Like it very much and is on my regular list.

Great coffee but freezing & the manager geezer says health and safety means door must remain wide open ! I’ll come back in May !
