Black Sheep Coffee in Wycombe

I have a take out coffee several times a week when I’m in the office. My regular place was not open so thought I’d try Black Sheep. Big mistake. Ridiculous number or steps to order by screen. Why staff can’t just take an order is beyond me. Although that would require some customer facing skills which seemed in short supply. I only wanted a cappuccino. I selected to use my own takeout cup but could see on the screen behind the counter that my coffee was being prepped. Disinterested staff had clearly not read my order. When my coffee was ready I mentioned my reusable cup. My coffee was slopped from the paper cup … what a pointless exercise. Will go without coffee tomorrow if my regular place still not open rather than comeback here.

Ordered a flat white and a piece of carrot cake. Ordering was via over complicated screens. Staff more interested in anything other than customers. Not friendly Coffee undrinkable. Incredibly bitter and tasted burnt. Cake passable Two staff members looked visibly stoned

They need to wake up. Stop hiring young kids that have zero experience. Get better qualified staff that can at least make a coffee or a pastry with burning it to kingdom come. This place is on its way to an early retirement unless they overhaul all the staff and send an apology to every customer that has never come back.

Paid for an item that wasn’t available - told me my refund was “automatic” still no payment - blatant theft! Vile iced latte. A previous visit resulted in an incorrect order, I refused it and then was presented with the same waffle minutes later told “eat it”. On a previous visit the centre fire alarms were going off, we were told to ignore security and wait, in the end we simply couldn’t and were of we left we wouldn’t get a refund - this was for following the direction of security due to the fire alarm and total evacuation! That’s 2 episodes of theft and vile coffee!

Waited ages for a coffee despite hardly anyone in there. Wasn't worth waiting for. Meant to be a flat white but was an insipid milky nothing more like a weak latte. Sticky tables too. Pity Wycombe has so little competition for them.

Sorry Black Sheep coffee but your High wycombe venue needs a complete overhaul. The layout is extremely impersonal and cold. When you walk in to a coffee shop you want to be greeted by the smell of freshly grinding coffee, steam and a warm welcome from staff. Unfortunately this place just vaguely reminds me of a coffee I once had maybe waiting for a train or something.

Cold not very nice coffee and cold hot chocolate that tasted like weird milk! Took the hot chocolate back and they added more chocolate powder but still tasted awful. Ordered and paid for a brownie to then be told they didn’t have any. Not on the cheap end either. Won’t be back!

Very weak and disappointing coffee and a very poor customer experience. The staff were incredibly slow preparing drinks and called out the names very quietly. Coupled with the lack of music or general ambience in the place, this amounted to a very lacklustre and frustrating experience. Would not recommend.

Utterly shambolic. Visited at 2pm. Takes 15 minutes for these kids to make a coffee, despite there only being 4 customers in the shop. Staff on there phone behind the counter. Automatically given take away cups when drinking in to avoid washing up. Went to sit up stairs and was told it was closed because they are “closing at 4pm today” lazy staff can’t be bothered to clean tables to closed off half the shop 2 hours before closing

Have been to Black sheep coffee in one of the London originals and it was good…. But now they’ve expanded it’s terrible…. High Wycombe has self service ordering machine’s so no contact with staff, didn’t make anything quicker, 10 minutes waiting and then got cold flat white and a cold chai latte Three girls all chatting to themselves, no service, no thanks, no personality, no going back… Very disappointing

Best coffee place in town, love the app and the self-service screens, always been able to get a table. Coffee and pastries all taste amazing

Staff are rude. Too thick to pronounce ethnic names that are only 3 syllables. Didn't even attempt to ask how to pronounce my name and just shouted at me from across the display cabinet. Rude. Both the male and female staff.

This was the worst coffee ive ever tasted. Im 40 years old and NEVER have i had coffee that tasted so much like a fart..! Staff was rude and unprofessional (who hired them!!!!) The croissant tasted like a pile of absolute poo. I do not recommend going. Absolute nightmare!!

Too many terrible experiences at Starbucks, and yesterday was the final straw. Delighted that black sheep have opened in high Wycombe Eden shopping centre. Speedy, gracious service and delicious coffee. Welcome to high Wycombe, black sheep… Looking forward to a wonderful relationship! 😁
