Fabulous fresh milk, yoghurt and amazing range of their own icecreams; often seasonal flavours not available elsewhere. Also stock other local producers' cheeses, eggs, bread, and other goodies. Coffee and milkshake machines as well.

A fantastic and varied selection of fresh farm goods are available in the self-service shop, where you can pay with card via an honesty contactless payment reader, or by cash. Very well implemented, and the ice cream is amazing!

Fresh milk (and milkshakes) and ice-cream, a coffee machine and some odds and ends.

Decided to pop here as it was near to the cottage where we was staying. Lots of choice, got some biscoff ice cream, it was delicious. Love the setup, nice and easy to use and pay.

Found this little gem just randomly on google maps. What a fantastic little self service shop! The ice cream is fantastic. Cash via an honesty box or card payments too. I’ll be back…with a freezer box!

Top notch milk, milkshakes, ice-cream. A must!

We spotted the sign along the road so drove up and got coffee to go along with our lunch which we ate sat at the picnic benches. Lovely views from the site and good coffee. Afterwards we bought some ice cream, honeycomb and mint chocolate chip and we shared them. Both were delicious, but the mint chocolate chip was the best. Definitely worth the stop!

Brilliant idea - we found this on our holiday in October 2023 and returned in summer 2024 - fantastic ice cream! Would love to be able to buy our milk directly near us.

What a wonderful little place. We bought their Drambuie and Orange ice cream and it's delicious. So creamy and a lovely texture. Sadly we are only visitors up here for a few days but when I'm back in April for 10 days I will buy the offer of 3 for £15.50 to try more flavours!! Also sell fabulous eggs, jams, marmalade, meat and shortbreads - all locally produced and we'll priced. See you in April!!

Really great produce that's accessible. We called in for another reason and ended up talking to the calves and taking some great stuff home for dinner. Definitely worth a visit especially if you have wee ones.

Great self service shop with great products - dairy and more. There are many products available here including eggs, meat, ice cream and also milk which you buy the bottle then fill with fresh milk and also the option to add syrups to make a milkshake if you want. You can bring back the bottle after using it to refill and only needing to pay for the milk. Great idea with great products - the chocolate milkshake and the blueberry and mascapone ice cream

Fab ice cream best I’ve had in a long time

A lovely farm shop that has fresh produce and milk. There is a card reader for meat and ice-cream with a cash box for bread. Outside it has a milk and food machine outside with the machine having bottles for the milk. In all a lovely place to go for your locally made food will always be back for their fresh milk and food.

Superb that you can get fresh milk in glassbottles. Not only the milk is very good but also you save the environment by avoiding lots of plastic containers.

Such good ice cream and a good variety of other produce too. For the things in the vending machine card is an option and for the items lying loose or in the freezers there’s an honesty box for cash and an honesty card machine which has instructions on how to use. Lots of ice cream flavours both in big tubs and littles ones ready to eat. Deals for 3 tubs £12 for the ‘normal’ options or £15 for the seasonal ones. Road up is slightly bumpy but not too long and fine if you take it slow.

I only buy my milk here. Its especially nice to see the cows as they graze. Momma cow has grown to like me

I didn’t know this place existed until Tuesday, such an amazing little corner shop. Situated right outside the farm is freezers full of ice cream made from the milk which came from the farm cows. Ferrero Rocher, Malteser, biscoff flavours to name but a few and oh my god do they taste good 😋There is a vending machine so you can buy a glass bottle to fill with milk from the dairy. It’s so delicious and creamy, I can’t ever go back to buying milk from the supermarket after tasting the freshness of this! The other vending machines sells local produce. There is also the option of buying artisan loaves of bread and croissants, black pudding, eggs, cheese, yoghurt. I can’t big this place up enough, it’s just so good. Make a pit stop here and I guarantee you will go back time and time again. Oh did I mention that there’s an option of milkshake too?!! 😀

Self service. Wish if they but spoons for the 500 ml ice cream so customer can enjoy on spot. Also the primery flavor where not avalible in small size

We stopped hungry the self-serve farm shop on our way back and loved it. The honor pay ice cream was delicious and easy to purchase with a card. A vending machine with fresh sausage, bacon, yoghurt, coffee was awesome and the products were all delicious.

I tried this ice cream when I was visiting Inverness and as a huge ice cream fan I will unequivocally say this was the best ice cream I've ever had in my life. I was in Scotland for 2 weeks and by the end of my trip, and right before my flight back to the US, I HAD to have it again, even if it meant eating ice cream at 10am on a Monday. It's creamy, fresh, delicious, and I wish we had this fresh of ice cream in Colorado. Sounds like I need to take a flight back to Scotland just to eat this ice cream again :)

Great self service machine - easy to use and you could use your card! Loads of different flavours for your milkshake, and you get to keep the bottle as a keepsake, or reuse it. You can also get cakes and local honey from the vending machine. Delicious and a great way to support the farm!

Great little place I was in holiday here and have always wanted to do one it was seriously the best milk I've tasted ! Also got a caramel slice and some honey the vending machine is the coolest thing I've ever used class !

Delicious ice cream, we will be trying the sausages and cheese later on. You pay by card in the front part (cheese, milk, butter, etc in vending machines), for meat products, ice cream and bread you'll need cash.

A lot of daily product. But could not purchase ice-cream with bills and card, only can do with coins. Other products can purchase easily.

We usually try to call in for milk on the way home to Kyle of Lochalsh. It's non-homogenised, like milk used to be, so the cream floats. Delicious ice cream, too.

Beautiful scenery, sweet little cows walking around. Ran into someone who worked there and she was very welcoming and told us about the cows and the dairy. Delicious ice cream.

We spent a day in Black Isle stopping along the way in given tourist spots, and were very impressed with the welcome we received from a number of locals, and the stories they told us about the area. Our favourite was the Brewery and the excellent taste of Gluten Free beers, which we purchased and drank that night. Also the scenery was outstanding, and during our visit we did not see or found rubbish laying around.

The pure milk ice cream is so good, it is just really really good. Passion fruit too. Don’t miss this place on your NC500 trip!

Very tasty dairy products at a great price.

Easy to miss as only a small sign at the end of a track which is pretty rough, however worth the effort with well stocked freezers and vending machines. Need cash for the honestly box, £4 for 500ml ice cream or 3 for £10. Plenty of flavours. Bread, eggs milk and yogurt available

It’s a great wee shop - my family and I adore this place. I was just up today picking up essentials such as milk, butter and brie cheese. It was great as always, especially with their efforts installing hand-sanitiser, anti-bacterial spray and blue roll to wipe down surfaces. Highly recommend and please support the business.

Not much to say really apart from the milk is good and homemade ice cream very good. Haven't tried the eggs or frozen produce so can't comment!

Visitamos Isla Negro lácteos dos veces durante las vacaciones. Se encuentra en un lugar precioso y es muy tranquilo, aunque a sólo unos minutos de Inverness. Nuestra primera experiencia fue uno de los mejores desayunos que tuvimos en Escocia (y sí, está bien pedir helado para el postre en el desayuno si estás en Black Isle de lácteos. ) El servicio era bueno, la comida como habíamos pedido. En general, una comida agradable y relajante. Nuestra segunda visita no era tan perfecta como la primera. No estoy seguro por qué, pero el servicio no era tan acertadas y para mí, eso se puede hacer o romper una comida. Aún así, un gran lugar para relajarse y tomar algo de helado! Ah, y el chocolate caliente, al menos la primera vez que pedimos, era una obra de arte y muy rico. No tan bueno una presentación en nuestra segunda visita.

Often drive past but finally stopped for late lunch today. Good selection, had two hot main meals which were excellent, big portions and beautifully home cooked and extremely good value, followed by a lovely ice cream. Will be returning again soon! Excellent quality and value for money!

We have been to the Black Isle Dairy Ice Cream outlet on several occasions and the ice cream is always, without exception delicious. And the portions have in the past been huge and very good value. However, when we visited the other week, we asked for our usual two scoop waffle cone and the girl that served us put a scoop of the first flavour and then what I could only describe as about two tablespoons-worth of the second flavour on top. This was approximately 60% of the total ice cream I have been served in all past visits where the portions have been very generous! I asked her why the second scoop was so small (not a 'scoop' at all actually) and she replied that the second flavour is a 'half scoop" WHY??? It is advertised as a two scoop cone and not as a one and a half scoop cone! I was fuming but she was unrepentant and sullen. This has put me off going there again, what a shame as we have been good customers. But this has turned from a good value purchase to a swizz. Not impressed.

The staff are very polite and helpful. We had soup, chips and ice-cream. The soup was plentiful, tasty and the bread fresh. The chips were the best I have had recently crisp and fluffy in the inside. The ice cream was the best we had the raspberry yoghurt and raspberry ripple both were lovely. We explained we were in a hurry when ordering and this was not a problem as the food arrived soon after ordering.

Highly recommend. Every icecream is just so amazing to look at. Unfortunatly havent been able to taste all of them... but im working on it!! I have yet to find a black isle dairy icecream i dont like!!

Accueil très sympathique dans un lieu très plaisant, lumineux et aéré. L'établissement propose une multitude de bières de Black Isle servies depuis un immense bar à gauche duquel on peut lire, peintes à la main d'une écriture recherchée, sur une très grande ardoise, les propositions du jour. La particularité de l'établissement est de ne proposer que des produits bio, voire bio dynamiques en provenance de la presqu'île de Black Îsle. On y mange bien, bon, et sain ! Vraiment un établissement à recommander !

Esse lugar é muito bom para tomar um sorvete depois do almoço.Atendimento atencioso e preço justo.Tem bastante variedade de sorvetes e meus filhos gostaram.

Stopped for a coffee break on our way back south. Found the Daviot Farm by chance, tucked off the A9 on the Black Isle. The venue was delightful, very much local farmhouse style. The service was also very good. The highlight was the discovery of Black Isle Dairy Ice Cream. Not as creamy as I'm used to, coming from Cornwall, but it was still delicious. There was a considerable number of different ice creams to choose from, and it was evident that we were being served by an enthusiastic maker of the product. She encouraged us to sample the different flavours before we made our selection. Excellent product, excellent service, nothing more to say.

We drove up to the Dairy to try their ice cream after hearing so much about it. Trust me you won't be disappointed. So many beautiful unusual flavours to choose from - the owner even offered a taste of some of them before making our selection. I thought the "scoops" were very generous indeed. If you are local, please drive up to see for yourself; if you are on holiday please make sure to stop by and try.

Went for some traybreaks and coffee. Food was homebaked and of good quality. We did not try any of the meals but thought the prices were rather too high.

I have travelled extensively trying different homemade ice creams, this was one of the best. The was a good selection of both 'normal' and more unusual flavours. I tried the lemon cheesecake, that I was informed was a bit strong and given a sampler to try, a very nice touch. Overall a lovely place for ice cream or a lunch.

Following lunch at "the Diary at Daviot", we had pudding, ice-cream, from Black Isle Dairy Ice-Cream.
