What in the 39p energy drink is this place the bacon was never bacon I’ve had better bacon in a turkey all inclusive the eggs had more snot than a council estate kid STAY AWAY

Absolutely terrible. We went in and most of the tables weren’t clean but we thought they might have been busy! The high chair was dirty and I had to clean it thoroughly. The place was mostly run by young children and the food was disgusting, it was inedible. I requested a refund and the girl on the till even pulled a ‘disgust’ face when I showed her my plate. The only thing that looked ok was a chicken burger. All the food items were the cheapest of the cheap.

Definitely don't go here. The food is terrible and tasted like it's out of date. The toilet looked like it had never been cleaned, and the prices were disgusting, I would never go back there

Absolutely shocking cafe a man wanted a refund because of the way the owner spoke to someone i visited last summer the staff was friendly until the owner come out and we was discusted everyone had a refund and left friendly staff its the owner at fault for this cafe being so sh** made his own daughter cry in front of customers should think before he speaks if hes running a business as my self i work in hospitality as well its hard but no need for the owner to be like that even his chef walked out and quit pretty sure her name was betty good on her tho all others should do same ☺️ hope you get shut down!

Disgusting food , overcooked, cheap, overpriced. Came out feeling physically sick . Will never visit again, staff serving were literally about 15 years old, too young to be dealing with customers and serving food. Even my children refused to eat half of the food. I’ve ate better in supermarket cafes. Burnt fatty horrible bacon, Dry eggs. Sausages burnt dry and cheap. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Very good food, very clean and good staff, we had a family lunch here and we all had a good time would recommend

How can they get a simple bacon mushroom sandwich so horribly wrong 🤮 When a customer asks for no fat on bacon that doesn’t mean you can add more fat than bacon. And if your using thick cut bacon, it needs to be cooked for longer. You clearly didn’t know that

Went in today some nice staff and all happy food was nice and served quick not waiting long at all server's was happy to help

Went in for breakfast to find tables wasn't wiped down, had to ask for the table to be wiped, where young waiter sprayed it, wiped it and left it wet through,I had to ask to dry it, where he just left napkins for me to dry it. Breakfast came, put down on table, never said where kinfe and forks where keeper or sauces, my wife ask for can of coke no glass???. Breakfast was OK not the best, as I watch the water cleared a table, didn't wiped it down and left food on floor and two forks, it a shame for the owners its clear they are running this restaurant on cheap labour, and very little training in customer service. no comunication going in or coming out. Just hope the owner's takes this on board thiers a lot of competition Round?? Hope improve when I visit again.

Family of 3 went to towyn on Sunday went round the market then we went to BJ's for a lovely Sunday Roast but I was really upset when I ordered a coffee then a can of coke for my daughter I asked how much the coke was the lady said £1 30 please so I paid it then when she brought the drinks over I noticed the price on the can of coke was engraved on at 85pence which I think was discusting they should be ashamed of themselves apart from that the food was lovely .

Staff realy friendly, breakfast was fantastic would recommend this cafe to anybody. Plenty of toast the bacon was grate .

Ordered breakfast for myself and toast for my daughter tea and water my cup of tea cup had tea stain all down the side waited 30 minutes for my breakfast my daughter asked about her toast and was told its on its way I finished eating and the toast had still not come she ashed again and was brought a breakfast she told them that this was wrong waited 30 minutes more so I went in and asked we're the toast was she said it's on it's way then went in the back to make it while we were sat there we heard other customers saying how long they had waited poor service and food avoid going and spend your money somewhere else shocking

Been going here for 3 years since I started in the arcades. Today for some reason was trying to phone from 11:15-11:30 to order my breakfast and had no answer.. assuming they was busy I took a break from work and headed to the cafe to order my breakfast to pick up at a later time like I always do.. had some elder fella on the till serve two children, then walk into the back and proceed to make himself a nice cup of coffee.. then ignore me for 5 minutes.. (putting the time to 11:45), then when I placed an order for my breakfast was told they aren’t serving breakfast now as it was 11:45.. this would of been understandable if they were busy, they had no more than 12 people in the cafe and out door seating, and 90% of them were finishing their food.. left me waiting for 10 minutes and blanked the phone to tell me it was too late for breakfast. If yous don’t want to serve customers just don’t open, after mentioning this to one of your local neighbouring business it was mentioned that they have done this quite a few times as of late. Pathetic, Wouldn’t even recommend wasting your time going here for them to do the same.. would of gave a 0/5 if was allowed

Lovely little greasy spoon cafe right in the heart of Towyn, North Wales. This little cafe is situated on the end of a small gift shop next to what can only be described as an old pub. There is quite a lot of seating outside for those sunny days/Covid regs, and a good amount inside. The prices are good too for what the cafe offers. I took my son (11) for a breakfast and he had a small full English for £3.75 and I had a He-Man breakfast for £7.25 well worth the £11 I spent. Staff are friendly and the place is clean. Would recommend.

Lovely cafe, nice food. We stupidly sat by the door on a cool windy day and spent the entire time shutting the door after the young waiting on staff kept leaving it open almost on purpose. The young lad being the worst. To say I had to get up 8 times while I’m eating to shut it isn’t an exaggeration. My mum is just getting over cancer and she’s really sensitive to cold temperatures. Really disappointing when it was good enough to spend all week having breakfast there so it’s a shame they lost the custom off a family of 6. Teach the young staff some manners

Great breakfast every thing cooked perfect. Eggs nice and fresh and cooked in clean oil. Can’t fault it. Outside seating clean and service was great.

Just an average breakfast. A bit too greasy for us. If you like a good quality, affordable breakfast excellently cooked and staff who can't do enough for you. Food served hot with a more than friendly atmosphere you need to try butterflys tea room on owens caravan park. A 5 minute walk away from bjs you certainly won't be Disappointed. Once tried, you will go back. 🦋

A traditional greasy spoon cafe, we had two cooked breakfasts couldn't fault them, very busy but it was August holiday time. Nice outside seating area in the sun.

This place is okay, although my family and another we was with think this is over priced and my jaw dropped when we asked for a pure orange this isn't even a glass (more like a shot glass) okay exaggerating there, but the plastic beaker is small even for a child. they serve breakfast until 1 staff are not chatty and smiley the man there was nice when we returned the plates inside..

We ordered a he-man breakfast And two full Montys, When got back the caravan the he-man didn't come with the sausages that it suppose to come with. The walk was 3-5 mins from the cafe and the food was very cold. This is a cafe I would not be using again.

Been here loads of times breakfasts are lovely. I ordered tuna salad with chips my partner ordered honey glazed gammon chips and peas it was gorgeous, well presented.staff are really friendly and the cafe itself is very clean that clean the lady who was working as disinfecting the handle on the entrance door. Will deffo be going back there. Thank you.

Came here on Business. Went for a bit of munch with my pals. Quality. Fabulous name. Made it a whole lot better. All impressed, especially the fat one in our group. He loved it. Had to drag him away it was so good :)

We visited bj,s after seeing good reviews we were staying in towyn for a few days so decided to visit for a breakfast food was lovely two big breakfasts toast pot of tea went down a treat it was busy but the staff were quick and helpful regardless will be visiting again next time we are back

The moment you get in the staff are rude and unpleasant to deal with. Woman at still just stares while ordering So you don't know if she waiting for your next order or not..The food come out the moment you order it.. so not freshly cooked food, Can't swap items so kids will have items they don't like, Attitude stinks.m

We had the fish and chips special, and we were disappointed.We expected something, well, a bit special - the kind of 'hand battered' fish you get in many of the better places.But what we got was little better than an over-sized fish finger. It also came with a salad garnish, which seemed unusual. And you could not have mushy peas, just what the staff called 'processed peas'.The kids didn't complain about their meals, so I think it depends on what you choose from the menu, and what your expectations are.I think they need to change the way they describe their fish and chips, or change what they serve. That way, people won't be so disappointed in future.

Well what can I say. First impressions looked very traditional like it says above the door. Ordered fish, chips and pea’s £6.50. Oven chips and what I can only describe as a frozen fish out of a box served with salad!!! Wtf. Never been to a traditional seaside resort cafe that serves cheap frozen fish and oven chips and salad. Could not eat it it was disgusting. Fresh orange juice had never seen an orange in its life it was vile. Think I’ll give this place a miss next time I visit Towyn.

Decided to go out for a meal for my birthday and after the weekends disaster at Benjamin's Tea rooms (Towyn) we decided to visit bjs cafe. Been before for the breakfast and knowing how nice that is thought we'd try the roast dinner. The weather wasn't to bad do sat outside under a parasol. I had the roast chicken and my husband had the roast beef. Both came with 3 veg and roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Mashed potato and piping hot gravy. It was so delicious I would definitely recommend it to anyone and will be having it again soon.Always guaranteed a good meal here so you will not be disappointed.

Staff are extremely friendly. The cafe is extremely clean. The breakfast was amazing. Despite being very busy we had been acknowledged and served very quickly. Best breakfast we have had in the area.

My husband had a He Man breakfast on it was two sausage, 2 bacon,2 eggs, 1 black pudding, 2 hash brown , beans, tomato’s, mushrooms, fried bread and 2 toast £6.50 bacon cooked just as he likes it and not much fat to be seen. Service very good and it is open 7 days a week will be back for breakfast in the morning

Called in Bj’s for our lunch and wasn’t disappointed.Homemade curry was gorgeous and scampi and chips delicious too.Great food,great prices and very friendly owner.Whole place including toilets are immaculate.Well done Bj’s!Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Lovely cafe great food always busy nice to sit out on the front to eat. Also.if you have pets you can sit on the front with them which is nice 👌👌👌

The food is cheap, but high-quality! The drinks are also cheap. The toilets are really clean and the cafe is imaculate.

Went here with 4 children for breakfast before going the market. A nice clean cafe that does a nice, reasonably priced breakfast. We enjoyed the meal and the service was good. Haven’t had any other meals here only breakfast, but the dinners look nice as well. There’s also a selection of alcohol on offer.

Had a lovely day out in Towyn and decided to have a bite to eat while we were there. Noticed roast dinners were on the menu so decided to try here... glad we did and glad we just made it before closing! We all had the 2 course roast dinner special for just over £7... bargain.. was quick to the table and was lovely. Not a morsel was left by any of us! Puddings were great too! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

My husband and I and our two daughters called in as we had walked past earlier that day, I'm glad we did! We had a 2 course meal, £7.25 which is very good value. We had a roast lunch and desert, plenty of choice and it was really nice and filling. Staff are polite and the cafe is nice and clean with a nice atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.

My sister and I took my youngest grandson there ,,we usually use one quite close but it was closed so we decided give BJ's a try I'm a really funny eater so was a bit worried about going in ,,, wow what a place food brilliant ,, spotless clean ,,staff can't do enough for you ,, we ate there the rest of the holiday ,,and very reasonable prices,, wish they had one in Stoke on Trent,, proper mug of tea served in tea pot ,, lovely

Ordered lasagne chips salad garlic bread the lasagne had a weird smell no white sauce or cheese and a very tiny portion but I couldn't eat it anyway it smelt awful , hubby had fish and chips he said was ok, kids hot meal was fine pizza chips and beans we also ordered 2 boxed kids sandwich meals 1 tuna 1 ham they both got ham anyway the sandwich they received was 1 slice of bread each with tiny bit if ham these are advertised as suitable for age up to 12 years a put of multipack crips and a cheap carton of juice , we were looking forward to returning as we had had a lovely roast dinner here a couple of years before and was happy to see it still open , but would not return or recommend from the food we received at the prices charged

This morning we had the He-man , full monty and a small breakfast. Wow scrumptious and great value for money with amazing friendly staff.

For the three years I have eating at this cafe. At the end of last season, they closed to modernise. It seems bigger now and they closed one side down. As they have also change the tables and chairs. The service is always great. The choices are excellent and the food is always hot.

Visit regularly when come to family caravan over the past few years. Food was amazing as always; however seem to of downsized the cafe and put prices up on menu. Which is a shame as now the cafe is a little cramped. Breakfast for 2 adults and an infant I barely had any change from £20. Shame; as before it used to be untouchable! Now we are having second thoughts about returning!

Stayed at a holiday park close by and found this cafe the first day, so glad we did. Breakfasts are fresh and hot, coffee is fantastic (not machine made) and son loved the milkshakes. Went back the next day to as it was so good. It was busy but the service is efficient and plenty of staff who are constantly doing something. Highly recommended.

Went to bjs this morning with my girlfriend and the food was beautiful no problems at all with the staff always willing to help and great service. When paying the banking system went down but that wasn’t a problem as the manager was a very pleasant man who gave us a trust card to pay him back as it was not our fault so we did about an hour later and he said you didnt have to come so soon he was very helpful and I will be coming back

Had breakfast here the day before and it was lush! So went for dinner the following day, the gentleman, at the till was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was lovely and fresh, cooked to order, and the apple pie was to die for. The cafe had a make over this year and was spacious clean and the new chairs were very comfortable, will defo be eating there again

Man who serves at the till is a tool & has no customer service skills it’s all too much for him he looks fed up & cant be bothered huffing all the time, rest of the staff were brilliant, my food was rank tiny jacket spud that filled my big toe I left starving, rest of my party’s food was ok, the overpriced milkshakes at £2.75 were also rank & the size of an ice cream cone wtf is that all about, will never go here again & god only knows why people do go here if your rich with small stomachs this is the place for you!

They do Sunday lunch everyday and it’s lovely! The prices are so great! I have a 2 year old daughter they had child cutlery and plates! They have thought of everything! Really lovely food!

This was a surprising little find. A fairly large group descended upon them and they handled it really well. It was good value for money and volume was a plenty. A dozen or so teenage boys were well fed for relatively little money.

Came for breakfast with my husband and 3 kids this morning. Cafe was very busy but the food was still served quickly, breakfast was lovely, hot and great portion sizes. Would definitely recommend. Thank you 😊😊

Waited a while, and food was average for what your paying. Id say somewhat overpriced. Seemed a little clicky locals haunt at breakfast, so we moved on for then next days breakkies, but food was hot and your average cafe grub.

Visited last weekend, I wasn’t very impressed, expensive in comparison to a lot of places in the area, staff didn’t seem happy at all. Food wasn’t the best, but average. However the place had been updated a little and is much brighter.

Excellent food and service even when busy which is most days as it's popular breakfast to roast dinners excellent value...

I had there cottage pie with chips and veg . Veg was marrow fat peas and cottage pie was mince with a scoop of mash on top nothing special. Would like to have seen garden peas and other veg . However all in all nice and hot and reasonably priced.

We have been going to towyn for around 9 years and can honestly say that this cafe serves the best breakfast around, we go everyday when we are on holiday and have just been for the bank holiday and this place is still as nice as it has always been. The prices are also very reasonable as well

very good selection of food service was very good.we only had a snack but due to having a dog we could only eat outside

breakfast starts at £2.75 which is cheap for area had a breakfast with wife and son very reasonably priced really enjoyed after 11am alcholol is served just a cup of tea for me and sons and wife service is great cafe clean and tidy only downside you have to park on a pay and display car park next door

We was close by on a family holiday and came here a few times to eat as it was so cheap and the food is spot on. Service is fast from taking orders. All home cooked meals. Had a breaky there on our last morning for journey home just what the doctor ordered.

Called in for breakfast while staying in towyn saw this cafe on TripAdvisor so decided to try it out it was well worth the price sat outside with my dog had the He-man breakfast lovely would definitely recommend

We called on our way back to our site the place is quite compact but as a pleasant atmosphere and the people are friendly an helpful ,this was just about the only I found that actually served veg ,the menu was good and the prices are very reasonable and the portions are as well and found it very good value

This is a very clean cafe ALWAYS busy staff are very friendly. The food is excellent they have in and out seating so it is great to sit outside when the sun is shining. This is a great place to take children plenty of choice and very reasonable.

Had lunch with the family here and really enjoyed the food and drinks (we had milkshakes) Prices were mid range and the only thing I could say was that the portion sizes were a little on the small side for me but wife and kids had enough.

Called here for breakfast 1 morning whilst on holiday huge breakfasts that tasted freshly cooked and good value for money.

The cafe was surprisingly clean and there was plenty of choice on the menu, however the servers were young, inexperienced and provided terrible service. We found a young girl with blonde hair particularly hostile

went in expecting something... different. came out with a ham sandwich and an espresso instead. I am shocked and appalled!

On a cold very wet Sunday morning, we were driving past and pulled in at BJ s we had a lovely breakfast (full monty) (1 complaint -tomatoes was cold) but otherwise excellent service,pleasant staff, and would definately go back.

We go every year! Friendly staff and a good atmosphere! We always have a good English breakfast to set us up for a full day of frolics in Wales. Lovely food and fast service

Went to B.js cafe this morning we ordered the Full Monty Breakfast which is very nice it includes a lovely frothy coffee and also toast, the service as usual is always very prompt and efficient and love the chair's they are so comfy and make the place look even more stylish along with the new look menu's keep up the good work all of you at B.js xx

Once again we visited BJ's cafe Towyn. The Service was spot on! The food was spot on!! this place has our full respect as owners of the Hungry Potter sandwich/oatcake shop stoke on trent we know a good breakfast when we see one!!!
