Bitsons in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Fancied fish n chips for tea, so popped to “Bitsons” and they didn’t disappoint! After chemo my appetite is only now returned after weeks of being unable to eat. And it was delicious ordered large cod and chips 😋 Truly the food of Gods! Would definitely recommend 😍

Great fish and chips and really friendly service. I always come here when I go to Kings Lynn. I wish it was more often. Nice little cafe upstairs.

A little gem of a fish and chip restaurant in the heart of King's Lynn. I had a large rock and chips, which was delicious and tasted really fresh. The batter was light and crispy and the chips were proper chip shop chips. To top it all the staff were really friendly. 👌

This is a fabulous little chip shop with great staff and lovely food.

We regularly drive 25 miles to come and eat here. Chips the way they tasted when I was a kid. Nice cafe upstairs, portions always generous. Fish is always excellent too. As a northerner I wish they did potato scallops (impossible to get down here) but that would only be the icing on an otherwise perfect cake. We will be back as often as we can.

Best chippy tea we have had for ages! Cod was mouthwatering, all the food was delicious tbh. We ate in the restaurant upstairs. Highly recommend, staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely eat here again if we are passing by

We found this while walking around King's Lynn. As we stood debating whether to go in one of the staff opened the window and told us there was a cafe upstairs. Steep stairs and small cafe. Excellent plaice chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. Very friendly staff, what a find.

Fish and chips as you remember them, with brilliant staff. Without doubt the best in West Norfolk. Old fashioned top quality and big portions. Don't try anywhere else!

Traditional fish and chips, very tasty, reasonably priced, Only downside for us was skin on fish but this is a personal choice. Does Not to detract from the quality

As U.K. I n lockdown Restaurants ect are not allowed to let people go in and sit down for there meals you go in with a mask on place your order at the counter and pay for it then have to wait out side the café ect to collect your order

The freshest and best fish and chips I have tasted in a long time. I turned up just before closing and even though the lady was finishing off she cooked for me from fresh the most delicious large cod and chips. Fresh and cooked to perfection. Very traditional shop and really lovely staff. Amazing 5* rating and the end to a perfect day out

Managed to escape the kids and the missus and I, partook in a late dinner, With the naysayers before sorry what are you talking about ?? These are the best sausage, burger, Fish and Chips ever !!! A clue is how long they have been established !! We drove 10 miles for these and man it was worth it

Friendly staff. Food was so greasy I was very sick. Left horrible taste in my mouth. It's a shame the food was so bad. It a nice atmosphere but will never go again

As visitors to the town of Kings Lynn we found the fish and chips in here pretty lousy and did not enjoy them one little bit

Best chippie in Kings Lynn. Friendly staff and good food. Only negative is that the stairs to the restaurant are very narrow so not good for everyone

I had a haddock and chips, good portions served and I took it away to eat in the park. Never been disappointed from this chip shop and been using for about 50 years.

Horrible food repeats on you makes you feel sick so greasy not worth a visit trust me use beef dripping

Some of the best chips to be had in King's Lynn. Good sized portions. Friendly staff. Good prices. Limited free street parking outside inc. disabled parking. Not accessible for wheelchairs, but there is a serving window.

The food is good, although heavy. Medium cod and chips £5. But when i asked on another visit for cod and very small chips i was still charged £5.

Fried in the old way using beef dripping , beautifully fried haddock , succulent and tasty accompanied by great chips and a few crunchy scraps . Eat in upstairs or takeaway , whichever is always lovely. ..
