Bitson's Fish & Chips in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Excellent service, prompt delivery to the caravan park, certainly went out of their way to deliver first rate fish and chips.

We could smell them uo the street and it enticed us in. My husband had battered sausage and chips. They were so hot, fresh and tasty. He said they were the best he has had in a while. Will definitely return.

Just timed it right for a batch.of chips coming out today. Very tasty, lovely gravy. Parking 30 minutes outside.

Best chippy I've ever had, sausage and chips were perfect and reasonably priced too. I've eaten from every chip shop within 100 miles or more and this one is the best by far.

Well I have to say 10 full chips on a plate is not what I'd call a portion (ate in) and I got a pout when I didn't tip. The portion of chips was scandalous, and they weren't that tasty. A portion of chips on its own would have been £3.30. The place is spotlessly clean, and its quite cool eating in, but chips are cheap, this is not a place I'd go back to on that basis. It's just greed. £1550 for chips fish mushy peas and can with a portion of tartare (35p) The fish however was amazing. Such a shame.

Biston's Fish & Chips in King's Lynn was recommended to us, by the guys at St James Bed centre. The portions generous and prices reasonable. The cod was delicious with crispy batter. You can order takeaway or eat upstairs. There isn't much space upstairs, but well worth it.

Best fish and chips in Kings Lynn. I have never had anything other than fantastic food from there. Lovely crispy batter and you can't fault the haddock.

Outstanding place. Proper fish and chips in a proper fish and chip shop. Friendly service and a nice little cafe upstairs. Whenever I go to Kings Lynn I go here.

Best fish I've eaten for as long as I can remember, good sized portion, crispy batter wrapped around wonderful fresh white fish, food was awesome, however quirky seating area with awkward access is interesting and not suited to all.

Tastes like chip shops did when I was a kid. A spur of the moment visit became a nostalgia trip. I live 40 minutes away but will be returning frequently. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. Seriously people, this place is fantastic. If they did potato scallops (I grew up in Sheffield) it would be perfect, but I know they're not really a common thing down here so I didn't expect them!.

I enjoyed my fish and chips there. I had large cod and chips, was pleasantly full but could have eaten more chips.

Lovely food, but I was not happy that I paid an extra £1.40 for cheese on my chips and to get barely a spoonful of cheese on top!

Just had there chips and curry and the after taste was absolutely disgusting...never again. Shame as the 2 ladies were quite nice and polite. I dunno maybe i had a unlucky meal as the other reviews seem steady, it really wasn't nice guys. All the best.

Cash only and prices relatively high, but the quality was also high, staff were friendly and the portion size was generous.

Had fish and chips for lunch there today ,found staff friendly ,however the fish was ok but the chips were horrible ,they had been in the fryer far tolong ,most of chips were scraping from the bottom of chip pan ,I could see and hear them.being scrapped out of pan ,this is the second time I have experience this at this shop will not be going there again .

Best chippy in town, the owner has worked in there since she was 14 years old, can't go wrong eating there!

Went and got myself and my daughter our dinner got it home a little later to find the pie I brought had been left in the hit box far too long you couldn't even stab a knife through the pastry topping, my daughter's sausage was also over cooked and kept in hot box too long the chips were not much better. Go get a refund the next day to be meet with a rude staff member after I told them it was disgusting that staff member/manager or owner not sure made a comment after I left which is horrible customer service. I will not be going again

Came across this place on a business arrangement to Kings Lynn, and was blown away by the quality and price of the place. I'm not sure when I'll next be back in KL but I'll definitely return to this place when I do!!

Set right on the quayside with great views. The food is delicious and the drinks choice is plentiful. Definitely recommend
