Bistro Oggi in Charnwood

My wife and I, like to thank all the staff at Oggi Restaurant Syston for an excellent evening. We went to Oggi to celebrate our 20years anniversary 🙏 it was a great night food and service was excellent. Been an Italian myself i will recommend 100/0/0 ❤️❤️😘

What a beautiful meal. The Chefs special lamb was just wonderful. It was our first visit but certainly we will return soon ....

We ate here again last night, 6 adults and a baby. We have been here many times and again we were not disappointed, the food as always was lovely and freshly prepared! The drinks were good and they even made my sister her fav cocktail even though it wasnt on the menu. Service was second to none! Will visit again soon!

This was the first time I went to this Italian (literally just got back!) as I heard a lot of good things about the food. So I suggested this place for my cousin’s 40th. Well totally wasn’t expecting the food to be this amazing. From Starters to our Main everyone food looked amazing and mine’s tasted just that. The staff are so nice too. Only nag that not much chicken opt for pasta so swapped it instead of the beef but still paid the beef price.

This was our first visit to this Italian restaurant as we were visiting friends in the area. The service was polite. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The tiramisu was especially good. Recommended if you’re in the area.

Lovely wine, tasty food, reasonably priced, nice atmosphere and good service. We came for lunch and would definitely be back

Table of 10 on a busy Friday night all the food was Fantastic. The service was good and all dishes out at the same time. We will be definitely back.

Lovely evening with friends 😊 starters & main course were very good - good portions and didn’t wait long despite a busy restaurant. Underwhelming deserts though - strange profiteroles ( warm soggy heap on plate & tasteless panacotta. ) Thumbs up to the sorbet. Tried restaurants own lager /beer- strange taste -one of friends unable to drink it - wouldn’t order again if & when we revisit

Visited on a Saturday for a meet up with friends. There were 10 of us and we were promptly seated and after a few minutes the drinks and food orders were taken. Service was excellent - all meals came together and the food was delicious. We had a variety of meals from the menu and all agreed the food was well presented and very tasty. The restaurant was extremely busy but the staff coped brilliantly - definitely deserve the 5star rating. Keep up the good work

Popped in for lunch off the cuff. We were warmly welcomed and decided to enjoy ourselves, ordering starters, mains and a dessert! Service was well paced, the food freshly prepared and very tasty. Thanks to everyone for a very nice lunch

Excellent lunch for my wife’s birthday. Service was really good despite the restaurant being busy. Lovely atmosphere. Italian Restaurant with an Italian ‘feel’. Would unreservedly recommend.

OMG absolutely fantastic, the food never fails to be amazing, so tasty, flavours dance on your tongue, staff are friendly, polite, and swift, even though it was busy there was very little wait for food.

Gem of a place, great food. A place where a real chef cooks real food. We were in a rush so only had main courses each. The pasta was cooked perfectly and highly delicious.

22 of us for our friends 50th birthday. The good was wonderful, the service was fantastic. Thank you to the fabulous staff who made our evening such a success. We will be back

Our experience was fine, the service was friendly but the food wasn’t amazing, just ok. I asked for the carbonara without cream but what little sauce it did have had scrambled so it was a bit lumpy and grainy. If you don’t know how to make a good carbonara without cream in an Italian restaurant, you should ask yourself some questions! The lasagne was also ok, mince was overcooked and grainy and there was way too much nutmeg. Overall a meal that was fine, but not outstanding. The portions are big and the price is fair, however.

We organised a party for our daughter. The event was well managed, staff were very helpful and space was well managed. And the food? It was amazing as I did not hear any comments for improvement from any of our guests.

We ate at the Bistro Oggi, Syston on Sat 29th. We had Antipasto Oggi and Caprese starters , Two Spaghetti Oggi mains with a Mixed Salad. Tiramisu and a Coffee. A bottle of House White wine. All the food was perfectly cooked and presented. Service was excellent, The staff were all polite, friendly and very Italian. The bill was for £84:75. This is our second visit and will not be the last. Highly recommended. Paul Reynolds.

Absolutely Gorgeous!!! Second visit to Bistro Oggi and again did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in till we walked out could not fault a thing. The staff are very friendly & professional. Nothing is too much trouble. Place itself has a great feel and atmosphere with beautiful decor. Now to the food. Wow just wow. All the food came out piping hot and together and tasted amazing. The Tiramisu was so light and tasty. Highly recommend. Keep up the good work guys 👍🏻

This is a great restaurant, with friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. The decor in the building has massively improved from its previous ownership. The food was wonderful, the waiting staff were attentive and the owner went out of his way to ensure our evening was enjoyable. I will definitely be returning soon.

Cibo buonissimo l!! Was a big fan of oggi london road, wanted to try this new one , same level of food quality and service!! Loved it absolutely!!

Mamamia food!!! Their foods have authenticity and a touch of love.when i m missing pizzas ,i run to this place because this is so close to me,im lucky !!!

Went here for my friend's 27th birthday. I was stunned by the varieties of foods and drinks options. We were a big group of 12, very quick and friendly service. Loved the foods without any doubt. Thank you Bistro oggi.

Loved the place, simple yet elegant. The food was simply amazing and this was supplemented with top notch ambience and serving staff.
