Bistro B31 is a hidden gem in Northfield. The food is excellent, wholesome very tasty and a reasonable price. Service is good, owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Try it, you won't be disappointed !!

What a find! Wholesome healthy food, comforting to eat even bake there own cakes. Try the iced lemon cake if you go. Looking again at going tomorrow. Save us a seat!

Clinton provided a buffet for my 50th birthday bash which I held at Selly Manor. He was very professional and responsive in the preparation phase and the range and quality of food was great - people kept on going back for more. I heartily recommend Bistro @b31 to anyone who needs a celebratory buffet.

The best Sunday roast ever, with delivery. Real good value and very tasty. Used a few time now and all food we ordered has been superb.

I would never usually leave a review but the food was amazing! I had the jacket potato with prawns and it came with a lovely side salad with a bit of everything in! And a little pot of dressing. One of the best jacket potatoes I’ve ever had (I’m a big jacket spud fan haha) we also ordered the trifle which was a hit too. Will definitely be ordering from here again! Delivery was also early and everything was presented perfectly when it arrived. Thank you :)

Food is absolutely unreal every time. True hidden gem.

Visited for lunch. Very informal dining area which allowed you to have privacy or chat with other guests. Extensive menu which offered a variety of freshly cooked meals ranging from an all day breakfast to a full cooked dinner. I chose the homemade steak pie which was delicious. It was accompanied by fluffy mashed potatoes and a selection of vegetables. This hearty meal was then followed by a very generous portion of bread pudding and custard. Again, in the dessert menu was anything from cheesecake to trifle ,so something for everyone. Embarrassed to admit I can’t remember our servers name but she was very professional whilst remaining friendly. Everything was served in a reasonable time and came with a smile. She made sure we were happy with our food without being intrusive. All of this for two people for a grand total of £22 - I doubt this quality of food and service is available at many places for this price. I would whole heartedly recommend a visit.

We eat here weekly after my art class Clint and the team are lovely accommodating and the food is high quality and tasty and beautifully presented. The menu selection is great and always a good range of lovely specials and they will always go the extra mile to provide what you require. Today’s food was delicious and filling and reasonably priced and a good food option in Northfield as a healthier alternative to the fast food options. Great flavours and combinations too! Highly recommend trying it out.

I eat at this Bistro every Tuesday and the food is always amazing. Such a great variety to choose from and always cooked to the hugest standard. Staff are helpful and happy 5 /5 from me which is a miracle as I’m the world fussiest eater.

Bistro31 were amazing, and so helpful when I was trying to decide what options to go for when ordering. They had a variety of delicious choices and I was over the moon with the outcome. The food was beautifully presented, generous portions and, most importantly, tasted great! Clinton was easy to deal with, and there were little touches that I wouldn’t even think of such as providing take away trays for people to take food home after our party! We had the Caribbean roast at the weekend and it was out of this world. Good portion and very authentic.

I have just come back from this Bistro with my partner for lunch and what a really quaint place to eat in Chatham place . As soon as we arrived , the lady serving ( who was lovely ) told us to find a seat and it would be table service. It was so quiet which makes it different to just eating in a pub or cafe nearby. We chose the pulled pork sandwich, toastie and a couple of drinks and not only was the price good but the food was exemplary. The chef even brought it to the table. Thoroughly recommend and whilst it is a hard place to find, it really it worth having a meal in there. Will be back there very soon.

Well disappointed, what was a loverly breakfast last order, to become a mess this order. The black pudding was so hard it was difficult to cut , the mushrooms, were just lumps of black rubber and the hash brown was just mush, I don't know what happened to this order, but I know I won't be having another one.

First time ordering so wasn't sure what ti expect. After reading the other reviews I thought I'd give Bistro B31 a go. I'm so glad I did. First over all the lady delivery driver was so polite bless her. The food was delicious. Plentiful and something for everyone. Everything you could want in a roast dinner. The meat was perfect and so tasty. I would definitely recommend Bistro B31 and will definitely order again. Thank you to everyone for your time on a Sunday to feed us. You do a great job and I'm sure so many of us are grateful for you hard work and commitment. Thanks again and a very prosperous 2024.

Best meal prep! We have monthly healthy prep meals from Bistro B31. We have tried many different prep meals in the past and these are by far the best! You pick your own meals, delivered to your door, fresh and so tasty!

Bistro 31 catered for my wifes 40th Birthday party. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect. The food was delivered on time and fresh. The presentation was great and it all tasted amazing. Im very greatful to Bistro 31. I would definetly recommend.

B31 Bistro just catered for my 40th birthday picnic yesterday. They were super helpful and fitted me in at short notice and catered for all the special dietary requirements. I was initially hesitant to join and order through the Bistro Club for prepared meal delivery, but after starting with Sunday breakfast via Just-Eat, I was incredibly impressed by the quality of the food. The grilled bacon and perfectly cooked soft poached eggs were just a few of the amazing highlights, and the sunday was one of the best dinners i'd had for a while. Months later, I decided to take the plunge and join the Bistro Club, ordering via WhatsApp for meals delivered every Monday and Thursday. The results were consistently fantastic, with delicious dishes and desserts delivered straight to my door. The process is incredibly simple – just take off the clip lid, cover with foil, and heat in the oven for 20-30 minutes. Plus, warming up the gravy in a pan is an easy step that ensures everything is perfectly heated and ready to dig in. Overall, the quality of the food, the friendly team, and exceptional service provide an experience like no other. I'll definitely be a returning customer for years to come! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you.

This is getting to be a bit hit and miss, some times it's great , other times, things are missing and the quality has lacked as to the first order that we placed. , It's a bit like a staff canteen you get what they got and for £9 a breakfast, I'm not going to have to take pot luck on what arrives.will be looking elsewhere, next time

Found a real hidden gem. Visited Chatham Road for breakfast today - bright, clean, very comfy chairs, staff lovely and very friendly, and the food was wow. We will be back for more !

Not as good as the last couple of times ordering , bread and butter was missing , the eggs were way over done , making the bottom sides brown and crunchy. The mushrooms were also quite well done.,the baguette was nice. The delivery driver is always pleasant and has a smile. That is about the only plus on this order. May order again, not too sure, I will have a look at other places.

We've been using the meal prep delivery and have found it to be great. Food is delicious, plentiful and fresh. Good quality meats, we did worry about this as we are picky - but no issues. Ordering is easy, prices are good, as is the sevice.The children have picked meals this week from the healthy food prep, and given it the thumbs up. As 2 full time working parents, we have used Hello Fresh and Gusto, to make evening meals easier after a long day at work. B31 Bistro is even easier, tastier and equal in price. Thanks, B31 Bistro!

Delivered early and piping hot but so disappointing. Roast potatoes were just boiled spuds. The meats were exhausting to chew. The fruit crumble was an over sugared mush..no fruits were identifiable.

Peeeerrrfect! Just what I needed after going out last night! Who knew roasted beetroot was so tasty! I love that the vegetables can change with the seasons! Lamb is 10/10 that crust is beautiful! Can not fault the dinners! 10000% recommend

Mothers day lunch for 3 adults & 3 children. Meal and service were lovely, as usual. They catered for the fussy eaters in the group, no problem. Second time dining at Bistro 31 and had a couple of take away meals. The food and quality on all occasions has been consistent and never been disappointed 👌 Generous portions, cooked perfectly and seasonal produce. Just to say the cauliflower cheese is amazing and the huge yourkshire puddings. I would definitely recommend Bistro 31. Due to it's size it doesn't get crowded and noisey, which is ideal. Massive portion size.great veg assortment (peas,cabbage, sprouts,parsnips,mashed potatoes,cheesy leek bake,) and generous amount of sliced meat with separate gravy pot) plus a large Yorkshire pudding.I also ordered a mini pot of trifle (glad this was an individual small portion aka bit bigger than a yogurt pot size)after such a massive dinner.

Other than forgetting the tomatoes on the 2 breakfasts I ordered, the food was by far the best breakfast Ive had of just eat. You can really tell that there is care & effort gone into making the food and it shows with the flavours. there’s not many other cafe that even come close to the quality & taste and I highly recommend to anyone. I order meals on wheels for my mom, they are value for money, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Would like to say Tamsyn, who delivers the food, is wonderful with my mom and nothing is too much trouble and a lovely person too. I have recently ordered a just eat breakfast and wow best ever... if you are ever thinking of a sitting in or delivery.... do it... everyone is helpful, customer service is the best and so is the food.... get ordering!
