One of best restaurants in reading. We specially go from Oxford to reading to have this authentic food for the reasonable price. Wish and Manisha are very good in service and explaining the menu choices. Would definitely Recommend everyone to try it.

Delicious Aloo Paratha with Tea Enjoying.

I recently used Biryanish to cater my daughter's birthday party, and I was absolutely blown away! We ordered a fantastic spread with delicious Chicken Biryani, flavorful Vegetable Biryani, and succulent Chicken Tikka. The quality of the food was exceptional. The Biryani was perfectly cooked, with fragrant spices and tender meat. The Chicken Tikka was incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the Vegetable Biryani was a hit with both adults and children. The presentation of the food was also impressive. Everything was neatly packaged and arrived on time, making the entire catering experience stress-free. I highly recommend Biryanish for any occasion. Their delicious food and excellent service made my daughter's birthday a truly memorable one.

The food was amazing my second visit with family coming down from London just for their food says something lovely lovely STAFF specially a shootout to Wish but all others are equally sweet they do need to get a bigger place cause the food is too good to be served in a small takeaway style resturant it deserves a proper resturant setting but will be going there soon again as am missing the food already 😀

Food was delicious. We tried lamb nihari, lamb haleem and chicken achari. Everything tasted great and the service was a cherry on top. Thank you Wish and Raju for the menu recommendation and friendly service! Gladly again!

Worst place to eat, congested, smelly chicken and biryani is not worth it. Plus one of the shop member keeps asking to buy this and that etc. And if you don't buy their extra dishes that they force you to buy they make you feel miser. Also the biryani is worst, its not biryani its either rice mixed with chicken curry! Clearly they do not know how biryani tastes in actual. Paindo staff!

Biryanish is truly a blessing for the local people. They cook every dish fresh. Sometimes they cook dishes twice a day. I believe it's one of tge best and busy places in reading.

Great indian/pakistani food selection, super friendly staff, low prices. It's a fast food so don't expect table clothes or fency cutlery, but it's straight to the point and very good value for money.

I went to Biryanish yesterday with family. The food is amazing. We had Chicken/Mutton Biryani, Nihari, Roast which was amazing. We also had gulab jaman and ras malai which was delicious.

Very pleasant surprise. Looked good when I was passing around lunchtime. I had a chilli paneer, vegetable biryani and a potato fritter with a Nan bread. I’m leaving, wishing I didn’t live 150 miles away, it was amazing. Great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff (Wish and Fatima) and wonderful food - what’s not to like!

One of the most amazing places in reading. I would say if you like desi ( Pakistani & Indian) food this is the only place in reading. We've got 5 star service from staff specially from WISH . They have true taste of Punjab. Definitely recommend it and will go back soon.

Was there some time ago with four other ppl from my work, to start with it was brilliant until we had to wait for rotti every time, by the time we get rotti our curry is cold, worse part was when we ask the counter girl to check how long for the rotti she said sorry sir we are busy you will have to wait that's when we were already eating our meal, then the Nisari man comes to us to tell us if we can't wait we can go to other place, that's when we just paid them and walked away with feeling the pain but we paid them because we didn't want them to call the police etc so let's not forget their owner is probably the best man who will lose in long term because of these members of staff, I hope he told me his correct name I was gonna call them to make complaint but I reckon best thing is to give them a review so they will get to know it! Will never recommend this place

Have been coming here for a few months now, and overall I am quite pleased. I have been steadily working my way through their entire menu, while still bring home a few of my favourites. I would say that every curry is well made, and fresh and delicious. But the only thing they are lacking in, is being able to maintain the taste. For instance, I tried the Aloo Gobi curry in the first month, and had it regularly quite happily for 6 weeks. But then after this, either they have a different chef in or the recipe has changed..as the curry has not been the same, the next 5 times I have bought it, which is quite disappointing. I have also discovered, that the vegetarian curries seem to be much better than the meat ones, as the spices and flavour is really good. So perhaps some improvement is needed in the meat side of things? I would also suggest to make sure the salt is just right, as quite a few times I have received a box that was too salty, which I had to water down, so it wouldn't pose a health risk to me. I must say though, the establishment is clean and tidy. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, which is a very nice thing indeed. List of dishes I have tried (best to least best), for others to refer too: -Aloo Gobi - very nice, but don't expect the same recipe every time. -Aloo Bhindi - for some reason this vegetable dish costs the same as a meat curry, but has no meat inside. Otherwise, very nice. -Chana daal - mosty delicious everytime, occasionally too salty. -Chickpea curry - delicious every-time - well done guys. -Black chickpea curry - delicious. -Chicken palak curry - (two combined in a box) - delicious. -Brown daal - was sour, wasn't so impressed with this one. -Chicken curry - strange pieces of chicken, would like to see a few breast pieces in there, and no broken legs thank you! Otherwise tastes fine -Chicken achar curry - extremely thick, and overly spiced. Had to water it down at home. -Chicken briyani/chicken dum briyani - more like plou. Quite disappointing, would recommend you save your money and go to Briyani Boys next door. -Chicken roast - sweet and sour taste, not spicy at all. Too much red food colouring added. -Halva Puri breakfast - delicious, but the portions are small. Felt snack size to me. -Mint chutney - very prominent on the garlic, but if you mix it at home with plain yogurt, its all good. -Keer - very nice. -Rasmali - very nice. -Tea - very nice It would be great if you could serve some non dairy dishes. Perhaps swap the butter for Marg. As my daughter has to get something else from Yadggaar, as she is dairy free.

The worst chicken curry ever! I picked up some chicken curry during a visit to my friend’s place last week. At first glance, it looked vibrant and appetizing, but when I reheated it at home, it had a strange taste and an unpleasant smell. Unfortunately, both my partner and I ended up feeling very sick for the entire week after eating it.

We came here for breakfast the service was really good very welcoming aNd the food was so nice 10 out of 10 we will be coming here again in shaa Allah.

Biryanish was always my go-to spot for biryani during my time at the University of Reading. If you’re unsure what to try, I recommend the chicken biryani, chicken curry, and aloo paratha. This place is definitely worth visiting for its great food, fantastic taste, and distinctive offerings.

Went in to get some biryani since I could not be bothered to cook but what I witnessed was worse Firstly they use precooked containers of biryani which they just warm and serve the customer Secondly the biryani tasted funny and was all mushy and the taste was off Third the staff who was working on the front counter when she was sprinkling some garnish on the food that is when I witnessed that the staff dint even hesitate that the customer was present in store she just went ahead and used her hands to grab a piece of food from the cooked meals from the counter and just started to eat it she dint even clean her hands after that and continued garnishing the rest of the food It was really bad that this are things that happen in front of the customer do it know what goes on when there are no customers present
