If I had gone to eat there, I would probably have given them five stars. But I didn't go to eat, I went to collect a takeaway. I ordered and paid online but when I went it wasn't ready. No big deal you think, just wait like in all the other takeaways. Trouble is, they don't have a waiting area. They suggested I sit at a table in the restaurant and wait, so I did, for the next ten to fifteen minutes. But the restaurant was full of eating in customers, I was the only person waiting and watching a hundred others eat their meals. Dressed like a building site labourer I felt like a right sore thumb, I was hungry and being tortured by having to smell and see everyone else eating theirs. I won't be getting a takeaway from them again, which is a shame because the food was really good. Next time we will either eat in the restaurant or get a takeaway somewhere else.

Wasn’t that impressed! Ordered 2 hot and sour soups and they was totally different! The crispy beef wasn’t crispy and the sauce was rubbish. The prawn crackers are in the bin! Tbh The satay sauce was best I have ever had yet the satay rice (if I hadn’t ordered it) had no taste to it yet alone heat or peanuts. That’s before I get into that the online menu doesn’t mention that it contains prawns! On the plus side it was a fast delivery but it is a Tuesday.

Served by two really friendly Starbucks employees today. They went above and beyond and their upbeat demeanour really improved my train journey home!

On Sunday, April 13th, I was wrongly accused by Greg of telling a female bartender that I would pay whatever I wanted for my drink. This accusation is completely false. I spoke directly to the bartender in question—she had black hair in a bun—and she confirmed that I paid exactly what I was charged and that no such incident took place. When I tried to speak to Greg about the matter on the same day, he refused to discuss it. I returned to the Waterfront on Wednesday, April 16th, to speak with both Greg and the bartender again. She once more confirmed that I had done nothing wrong, and even stated that Greg was not present during our interaction. Despite this, Greg called me 15 minutes after I left and accused me of making his bartender cry. He then told me never to return to the Waterfront and even went so far as to threaten me, saying I “wouldn’t like it” if I made him mad. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable, and I can’t help but feel that Greg is used to speaking down to people—especially people of color—in a subservient manner. False accusations and intimidation are not just unprofessional—they’re harmful, and they are a defamation of my character. This kind of behavior has no place in any business.

Loved this place when I was younger. So pleased it is still there
