Birds Bakery Intu in Derby

I am very fond of birds mince pies ,but I have gone off them as they are smaller than last year. I have just bought 24 from Stapleford branch £14.40 for 24 , see my measurements , looks like 1.0 inch high and 2 and a half wide.see photos I suddenly have lost the taste. In my opinion they are smaller than previous Christmases. Even the box is smaller.

Hi . Love the cakes but how can you justify putting up the prices by nearly 10p a month on some items and even more on others

I wanted a quick snack to eat in the car. I ordered a sausage cob (roll). The cob was OK but the sausage was burnt and they had no mustard. As I was payingI saw a fly in the glass pastry display and it was settled on a iced tart. I will not visit again.

Came in at around 3.30pm today (March 13th) for a sandwich. The girl was making coffees and stood babysitting the automatic machine and fiddling with the cups before she saw me. Then she said be with you in a minute, put a cappuchino on and stood there watching it pour out. Ended up walking out as she was just messing about with cups while the coffee machine made the drink itself. I love birds and always try and get my sandwiches locally but i won't be coming into the Intu one again.

Well laid out shop and cafe area, Coffee and Cob were very good, very welcoming and friendly staff who provide quick service.

I go into Birds in Derbion and always find the wonderful staff are always very polite, efficient, and there is nothing they wouldn’t do for you, I have written this as there isn’t many shops I go in, give such satisfying attention to the customers, please give the staff a big thank from me. Bought 2 cream puffs today got home and as I started to eat it found an hair in my mouth pulled it out gagging and still choking found another hair that got trapped in my tooth , totally grossed me out still feel sick thinking about it, will never ever go into Birds again, disgusting !

Great place, just opened and full of quality. A super bakery, and a good place for a quick snack. Staff very attentive and the customer is important.

You need look no further than Birds Bakery if you want a tasty filling breakfast cob and this improved store is a great addition to the Intu shopping centre.
