Bill's Bath Restaurant in Bath and North East Somerset

Fab food good portion sizes, lots of gluten free options. Service was a little bit slow but they were busy in the lunchtime rush. All round a good place to grab some food while out exploring.

Food was excellent, clearly freshly prepared and cooked, service impeccable in an extremely busy lunch time service.

Booked for breakfast , food arrived cold sent it back came back again and still not hot enough ! Very poor not what we expected from Bills !

Went with a group of 9. Arrived 15 minutes early for our booking but they let us have our table and the staff were very patient when we needed more time to order. Food was good and services attentive and fast. I asked them to bring the food quickly as we were a bit tight for time and they were great at speeding things through. Thanks Florence and Mia for your fast and friendly service!

Lovely staff, got the bottomless pancakes, thought the pancakes wouldn’t be as good as if you ordered the standard pancakes. But they were amazing and the quality was great. Wait times weren’t bad as it was very busy but overall would recommend!

Fabulous food, service, and atmosphere. We had such a wonderful time and Ana, our server, was amazing. Visit Bill's while in Bath. It will not disappoint.

We went here with 8 friends from school while on a trip. The food was good not the best ever but for thw price it was good. Waiting times took long, but that's likely due to the large number of people. The food didn't come at the same time and half of the table was waiting. Then we wanted to all pay out own part of the bill but we had to do the matg ourselves which made us late home and got a lot of us in trouble

Visited 13/05: Staff were very welcoming, didn’t take names however we had a gentleman who was Greek and a young lady who was very informative of the area. Excellent Calamari and buttermilk chicken burgers. Thankyou!

Decided as it was 3pm to go with the unlimited pancakes. Mmmm delicious 🤤 and served perfectly. Managed 20 in the hour - still had an hour left to eat more - but the rest of my party had finished their meal and didn’t want to watch me make a pig of myself 🤣🤣🤣

Stopped in just after opening and was seated straight away. Friendly staff with prompt service. My breakfast was presented well and while it tasted ok it wasn't what I was expecting for the price. I noticed the HP sauce bottle, while full, was well used. Now, this could be full of the same product or not, who knows 😁.

The food is fairly simple, but well served with quality ingredients. The burgers were particularly good. The service when we were there was excellent. Attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Really made it stand out.

We came in a few Saturdays ago in the daytime. It was busy and bustling. However we were instantly met with the lady on the door and a tall man who greeted us immediately and accommodated our need for a table. They were chatty even though the venue was busy and lead us off to a great start. The food was amazing, in particular the chicken burger and the duck curry. We also shared the recommended brownie for dessert and goodness me it was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back again, along with my friends. Thank you in particular to the two hosts on the door who made sure we got in. It’s great to see people enjoying their jobs! Thank you to Bath Bills!!

Very disappointed,the food wasn't worth the price, I can't recommend this place , won't be going back and would advise anyone else to avoid.

I love Bill's but my usual dish was a joke in bill's Bath, just have a look at the watermelon in my Santorini salad... Shocking. Thin as Spanish Jamón Serrano and the amount was not adequate for +£16 salad... The burger was good. Drinks are also good. Staff lovely.

Having been four times now I must say the fourth time was the best experiences. Waiting staff excellent. My Son and young grandson managed To polish off 9 pancakes each.. my Tuna was very good although the mash could have been a bit hotter

Wonderful walkable stop! Loved the pancakes and my parent's enjoyed their English breakfasts. Great start to our morning excursions! Beautiful decor, lovely staff, and overall, just an amazing breakfast experience.

We walked along the street from Bath’s famous Roman Bath on this chilly late morning, stopping over at Bill’s for an unplanned lunch. What a delightful and pleasant experience. We chose the very well priced two course menu and, believe it or not: A gluten free beef Burger from its own and separate printed GF menu! What a surprise for someone who is always challenged to find choices for a GF diet. Both meals were tasty and sufficient in portion size. As beverage we had a Pot of English breakfast tea (the tea came in a real pot and a Latte with coconut milk. (Almond milk was not available)but the coffee I had was delicious. The place was buzzing with diners coming in a frequent flow , greeted by a friendly and efficient service team. Overall I would come back and recommend a positive and vibrant place like Bills anytime if you’re stopping over in Bath.

had bill’s beef burger with cheese added and chips (gluten free) and it was very good, very filling and an added bonus personally was the separate gluten free menu which was good for me being coeliac I highly recommend dining here if you’re in Bath.

Very welcoming staff, especially Anna, we arrived at 10:45am and asked them if we can order from lunch which they usually serve after 11:30am. But they happily accommodated us. It's a good place to try in Bath

What a lovely experience we had! Ana was brilliant with our kids, especially when our little one was getting grumpy from missing her nap—she really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The food and drinks were top-notch, and everything was spotless. Honestly, this place is perfect for families and has a great vibe. Can't wait to go back when next visiting Bath.

Badly let down tonight , quick pre theatre supper went Badly wrong. 35 mins after arriving had to chase up our starter, a further wait just to be served burnt inedible calamari which was sent back, lots of apologies, complementary drink and than a further endless wait, 70mins after our arrival no food, we left making our feelings known to who we assumed was the manager. Shockingly poor service won't be going again.

Had a brunch with family here. We all had All Day Breakfast. Food are alright. Love the plum tomatoes and the sausages. Staff are nice. But there's a 12.5% Opt Service Charge when I pay, it's a little bit unexpected and I don't agree it should be in that high percentage.

All the waitresses were lovely, I arrived on my own and felt very welcomed, our waitress went above and beyond for me helping me get my coat off as my zip was jammed, cleaning syrup off our table and swapping out unmatched wine glasses because she had great attention to detail. She was very friendly and chatty and because it was my birthday complimented me a free drink. I hope she serves us every time we go there. The food was yummy, it's not fine dining but its good value for money.

The fry up was pretty good, always appreciated when black pudding is on the menu. The eggs were a mess and overdone. Mia, who looked after me was excellent. She was genuinely cheerful, attentive, chipper and brisk. A credit to the service industry.

Particularly impressed with the service which was friendly and attentive. They were careful about the food allergy in the group without making that person feel like a nuisance. I LOVE THIS PLACE! The environment, such friendly staff, really good food! There isn’t a single thing wrong with this place! Couldn’t recommend it more! You really should visit, you might see me as I am there quite a lot! 😂

Went for brunch and got served raw sausage and then was gaslight and told multiple times that they were probed and up to temperature and safe to eat yet the sausage was dead pink in the middle. The staff didn’t even apologise for my food being raw and made me and my table feel like we were in trouble and at fault for complaining about my food. Won’t be back here again, horrible customer service skills.

We recently dined at Bill’s in Bath when some friends came to visit. Although the restaurant was very busy, the staff were accommodating and managed to fit us all in without much delay. Our waitress, Lina, was delightful—both attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere was lively yet welcoming, making it a wonderful choice for catching up with friends. A very pleasant experience overall!

Couldn’t ask for nothing more. All the staff were really lovely ! Should have got their names ! Very welcoming with smiles on their faces! I’ve always enjoyed trying different Bills in different places in the UK. Glad I came here. The breakfast was delicious and throughly enjoyed my meal.! Would deffo go back :)

We recently came in for breakfast and was served quality delicious food by a server called kassidy who was very welcoming and friendly

Stopped by yesterday after the spa. The two at the door were really friendly and keen to help us with seating. I ate the best burger I've ever had, phenomenal. The only slight blot was a different lady bringing the food, looked like she wanted to be anywhere else. A smile doesn't cost anything.

We went there twice during our stay in Bath. The first time, it was extremely busy and staff didn't really acknowledge us or inform us of how long the wait was when I told them about our reservation, which was disappointing. However, I can sort of understand they were overwhelmed and probably trying their best... The service itself once we sat down was fantastic though, so it made up for it. As a coeliac, I appreciate the 'giant' gluten free menu. Food was generally good, the only thing I didn't like was the gluten free bread served with the English breakfast. The cappuccino is delicious! Overall, a good place to go 😊

Lots of super tasty options! They have a breakfast menu available until 11:30 and a brunch menu available from 11:30-5. The interior is lovely too!
