Just a little rushed, seemed keen to get people in and out as quickly as possible

Went to the bottomless pancake deal, but found that the pancakes could be a little smaller to allow for stomach space to try different toppings. Variety of toppings is very limited and would be nice to have a non-meat savoury version. Vegan pancakes were unfortunately very dense and stiff. Wonderful service and speed though!

Great meal....service super speedy. Good check ins from staff. Definitely recommend.

Had the sea bass....had this on many occasions over 3 continents..but this was amazing....compliments to your chef.

Worst breakfast I've had at a sit down restaurant. Beans tasted straight out of a can, low quality American style bacon, dry blood sausage, plastic bag tea, poor service, tiny portions for price.

Amazing food, perfect service, Sam is very attentive and we felt looked after from the second we were seated. Warm welcome and smile at the front desk also. Five stars.

Food is ok. Tried a starter and the main came before I finished the starter. Seems they won’t you in and out! Would have thought they fired the main after I finished it. Same happened to the table next too me and they took the starter away half way through the main meal. Thinking about it I wouldn’t visit again

We did have to wait in queue for half hour although we had booked a table. As way of apology we were given our first drinks free. Very friendly staff.

Food was just Rubish, not so terrible it needed sending back, and we did eat it, but there's alot to choose from in Bath. I'd give this place a miss as it certainly won't live up to the rest of your day out in Bath.

Staff were polite and helpful however unfortunately there were lots of issues with our orders which made this overall a disappointing experience. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork burger which came with no pulled pork. I think this was another tables order. My child's burger had to be changed. His new meal came when everyone else's food was finished. It was still missing cheese so the waitress brought this out separately which was surprising as I thought the plate would be taken away to melt the cheese on the burger. By this time my child was so hungry he just needed to eat. The waitress was apologetic, understanding and helpful. She also gave my child a free drink. Overall the food was ok, my child burger was upgraded to an adult burger which was appreciated however I was surprised to be charged service charge! I paid this as the waitress did their best but it was a very disappointing experience.

Lovely staff. Very poor quality food. Children's food especially poor. My 8 year old granddaughter said there is no chicken in the chicken nuggets and she way correct.

I have been here with family lots of times. There is a good variety of things on the menu. We have numerous dietary restrictions, including allergies and we are always welcome and feel things are taken seriously. The food is well prepared and tastes great. Usually fast service too. We will definitely return. I recommend booking at weekends as it gets very busy in central Bath.

The food was lovely. My wife and I spent ages looking for a restaurant we wanted and stumbled across this place. As soon as we went in we were greeted with a smile. The food came out really quickly.

Very, very busy with queues going out the door into the street. However the food was really good and the service was even better! Our waitress Evy was super helpful and attentive. Will be back!

Food was excellent but a bit pricey. Service was very good and the location and atmosphere were very good as well.

Everything was perfect here. Food (breakfast for us) was typically English. Lounge-like atmosphere and very nice young staff. Prices were OK. and the quantity of food was plentiful. Only the drinks were perhaps a bit too expensive.

Always love visiting Bill's and our visit when we were in the beautiful city of Bath didn't disappoint.

Had a lovely bday brunch on Saturday. The staff were all excellent very attentive and polite. The food was delicious yet could have done with being just a little bit warmer and the mushrooms didn't taste quite right ? Yet apart from that delicious. Maybe the music could have been lowered a little for volume . Overall a very nice brunch and excellent customer service considering how busy it was !! Bath rugby was on !

Good place to take kids. Fair range of food at reasonable prices. Reservations are best.

Very disappointing customer service. Waiter (or manager because of a different coloured shirt) doesn’t have a friendly approach and looked like he didn’t want to take our order. Tap water took ages to come. One order that came was wrong even though we made it clear with the waiter a few times. Didn’t even apologies for the mistake. Plus after all that, we clearly see them checking on every other customers except for us. They will not care if you are not local. Wouldn’t recommend for tourists.

Restaurant was busy on a Saturday lunchtime. Luckily we’d booked. Food didn’t take too long to arrive but one of the kids meals was missing fries. Food was decent but lacked depth of flavour.

I went for breakfast and very much enjoyed it, great food fair price and lovely staff, very attentive and friendly, 100% recommended and will gladly go again!

We visited Bill's twice on a recent trip to Bath, once for dinner and once for lunch. On both occasions the service was excellent and the food delicious.

We had a delicious, healthy plant-based lunch here in September 2024 with Korean cauliflower appetizer, hippy bowl, and hummus. Server (Daisy) was lovely. Quite busy.

Had dinner for 2. Staff was attentive and chose table which fits our needs. To start with, there’s an all day 2 cocktail for £12. Food came piping hot as they heat up the serving plate. That also means you have to be careful and not get scalded. Ordered the truffle chicken, sea bass and Dinner is ready prawn cocktail. All tastes good.

Great Burger and Pancake in Bath.

The service was terrible. Last summer, we had a group, and when it came time to split the bill, the tall waitress didn’t even bother to do the math herself—she just asked us to figure it out. When we took a little time to sort out how much each couple owed, she rolled her eyes at us. Super rude. We never went back, and I’d tell others to avoid this place too. The waitress couldn’t do basic math and had zero manners.

Second visit in a week. So much choice for vegetarians.

Really nice restaurant to visit in Bath. Food was really good. Didn't have to wait long to be seated. The staff was friendly but could have been more helpful. It's better to walk to the place as parking in Bath is difficult and expensive. The venue was clean, nice background music. Overall I recommend it.

Food is great we did breakfast and it was hot well presented. Good atmosphere and service was good. Gets busy so booking may be advised. We actually just turned up on the day and got a table. Only negative thing is they do put on the bill a service charge.

Here on holiday for a week, was able to be seated without pre booking (on a Monday midday). The service was lovely, quick food turnaround and was grateful to have food replaced from things I didn’t fancy with my meal eg. I had the breakfast but asked to remove the black pudding and was offered to have this replaced with something else instead! This place puts my local Bills to shame. I wish I could take this one home with me!

The waiters were absolutely lovely, however our food wasn’t too great. we order a hallumi burger and a chicken burger with chips. the burger buns were quite tough and the chips were soggy and half were under cooked. we also ordered cocktails which were very nice. overall the food wasn’t great but anything else about it was good.

Love Bills, what you see is what you get. It's always a good standard of service, the food and drinks menu is interesting and varied. They do seasonal specials and offers and it's comfortable and stylish. An old trusty

Pub food, nothing exceptional, just good

It's ironic this is located in Cheap St as its anything but. Overpriced, average food. The serving staff are nice but the food is honestly average. Cold poached eggs for three of us, most of our food lacked basic seasoning and just not tasty. It was super busy so that could mean one of two things - we were unlucky, or they don't need to make much effort as they have footfall from the tourist community. Either way the kitchen staff need to up their game. If they are putting eggs in an ice bath after cooking they were served stone cold and unpleasant. Bills cheesey potatoes were undercooked cubes of potato with velveteea? Kraft slice? Orange processed cheese melted with a couple of slices of onion...really unappetising. Add in tinny music blasted out in an already loud environment and all in all not a great experience. Felt sorry for the overworked staff who were rushing around trying to serve, sit, bring bills and check in with everyone. It needs a reset with some decent food and better prices.

Have visited a number of Bills around the country. Never had a bad meal. Bath venue was no different. Went there for drinks- plenty of choice. We went back a second day and had food- really good.

We tried Bill’s BBQ Tray and Bill’s Fish Pie and we liked them both.

Lovely spot in the centre of Bath. We had never heard of this chain and chose it based on the vegan options for one of our party. We were all impressed, the menu was fantastic and the service was perfect. We would return.

A nice restaurant in the middle of the city for breakfast and lunch, close to the Abbey. The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was not fast, but they apologized for the delay and refunded the cost of the drinks.

Bill’s Bath is good if it quiet, but mediocre when busy. We like the food and staff who work very hard, but it slips when the restaurant is very busy, so choose to avoid then.

We highly recommend eating at Bill’s a Bath. We went there twice during our stay in the Cotswolds. Well located restaurant, a warm atmosphere, appetizing and very good dishes, quality service with smiling, professional and polite staff. Very pleasant meal and very kids friendly! 👍

One of my favourite places in Bath to get a great meal at a decent price. Does get busy so worth booking before walking over! Great selection on the menu, everything we’ve had has always been great with no complaints! Not usually a fan of chains but this is an exception

A fantastic evening's meal to draw birthday celebrations to a close. Service was excellent, drinks were fantastic and the food was to die for. Went with the veggie/vegan route tonight and was not disappointed. The cauliflower wings defy explanation, the halloumi fries are divine. The dirty vegan burger was just perfect - upgrade to the truffle cheese fries, your body will love you for it - and desert, apple and mincemeat crumble, was a joy from beginning to end. Great night, great food. Thank you too the team for making it such a wonderful experience.

The food was OK. but nothing special in terms of taste. Unfortunately there is no draft beer. Quite unusual for the UK.

Yesterday we had dinner there with 4 people, we were very happy to be welcomed, attentive and friendly staff, the food was perfect, 4 different dishes were served at the same time and everyone was very satisfied, I can definitely recommend it

Bills sticky duck salad with Spicy barbecue sauce and watermelon and lettuce. Highly recommend!

We ate here at lunchtime after seeing the Roman Baths and we sat outside. The seating area had some shaded areas which was great as it was 29 degrees that day. The service was quick and we had the Halloumi Burger and the Greek Salad. Both were great. Would recommend for a lunchtime stop off

Good place for bites and drinks

We returned to Bill's in Bath after a great first visit but were highly disappointed this time. The hamburger was dry, and the bacon was rock-hard. Although we had a late evening booking, it shouldn't justify the drop in food quality and service we experienced. Disappointing overall.

After recently going to Bill's in London - we thought we'd try our local ones in bath. The food was excellent (the BBQ Bourbon burger is among the best I've had!). The service was excellent... Although maybe a little too good as we felt we were being rushed! Prices were about average. Although I would say if you're going to charge £3.50 for a coke don't just bring it in a can that I can buy for £1 🤷‍♂️ It's very busy so booking is essential.

We loved the service, the food was great!! And the decor and atmosphere felt very comfortable. We liked the layout too, it is more spread out and feels like you have your own space (not cramped up. We had the same lovely waitress serve us for last 2 days. She was excellent as we're the rest of the staff. Thank you for providing a excellent experience with great fresh food.

Popped in for a quick meal. We had the beef burger with short rib and whiskey glug and rosemary chips, and chicken sharma. Both really good. The staff was excellent and very friendly.

Stumbled across here a few years back....back then...varied menu but enough to give a nice choice...dimmed lighting...candles in tables...cosy and inviting....last week...less on the menu, all the lights switched on....didn't get offered the afters menu....all of the above kinda subliminally made us leave...the food was great but in the whole nit as inviting as it used to be...

Bill’s Truffle Chicken 2 Ways was excellent. Both the grilled chicken breast in red wine jus and the buttermilk fried chicken breast were well prepared and tasty. The staff were friendly; and the service was prompt.

Lovely Restaurant in the heart of the city close to the Abbey and shops. Popped in for breakfast after a recommendation from a colleague. Was early when I visited, so it was still quite quiet. It is spacious with nice decor and atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the service was quick. I had come for an English breakfast so this is what I chose and it was lovely. There is a nice menu for lunch and dinner as well as a bar, so I will definitely be back soon to try 😋

Stopped by this busy restaurant for lunch. Despite the crowds, our service was quick and our server was friendly. I had the fish pie which was delicious. The rest of my family liked their meals too. I’m glad we stopped by!
