Bildeston Kings Head in Babergh

We sat in front of the fire next to the bar and was able to order our meal from there. The staff were delightful. We had a a favourite waiter called Honey. 10/10 for the service Honey.

Excellent selection of wines (which you can also buy to take away in their wine corner!) We are regulars at the pizza nights with our kids which I cannot recommend more. Lovely cosy setting in the pub and large garden out the back. Friendly staff and always get such a lovely welcome! A must do in Bildeston!

This is such an amazing pub. A truly unique and super friendly atmosphere every time we go. It's also got an incredible wine list, which makes such a difference to the usual wine offered by pubs. We've been to a few of the supper clubs which have been excellent and the Friday Pizza nights that happen every couple of weeks are such a great way to start the weekend. We are lucky enough to have this pub on our doorstep but I would highly recommend it to anyone living in Suffolk and beyond!

Super cute bijou pub with an excellent selection of drinks, welcoming vibes and good music. Lots of events here too including pub quiz nights, live music and the occasional late night DJ session. We love it all.

This is a proper pub. My favourite in the world, in fact. No messing about. Pete knows all about his wines and beer, and Soph knows all about her music. A diamond couple running the best pub. If you want to read the paper in a quiet corner with a glass of wine, or stand at the bar and talk about fishing or performing in the Eurovision Song Contest, this is your place. Always a welcoming feel, crazy evenings of fancy dress and top-drawer live music, sunny evenings of pizza and friends - this is an absolute gem.

Not really a pub anymore. Owners think this is Borough Market or Hoxton rather than Suffolk. A real shame the Kings Head has be ruined. It is only open 12 hours a week .

Came across the Kings Head by chance when visiting Bildeston. It was a really lovely little pub with a great wine corner where you can buy wine. Also by chance it had a Christmas market out the back and people were painting Christmas baubles inside whilst we were there which was rather jolly. It looks like opening times are limited and food is not served regularly so perhaps not so good for locals but great for us during our visit to Bildeston.

Great little village pub. Really nice and welcoming atmosphere filled with locals and visitors. Great selection of real ales and a LOT of wines. Simple menu with local produce. Nice service too.

Still no real locals use this place, best to avoid if you are looking for a real village pub. Why do people always want to change pubs to what the think is wanted .This is Suffolk not Borough Market or Spitalfields

The pub does not do food anymore and is in fact closed until 27 January. I do hope the intention is not to say the pub does not make money and to try to turn it into a house which would have cost far more than was paid for the pub.

This was a wonderful country village very busy pub used by many locals and also visitors. This is a working village. However unfortunately the reason many of the locals who used to use the pub are staying area is because the owners seem to want it to be a wine bar. To get the locals back the focus needs to be on beer. So please remove the wine racks put back some tables and the bar stools. Make sure there is a full range of well-kept beers. and bar snacks. Also unfortunately, some of the real ale does not seem to be kept well, perhaps because of the lack of opening hours or beer drinkers.

We have visited The Kings Head about 5 times with family and friends since moving to the area. Nigel, Sue and all the staff go out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. The menu is extensive and the pies are a real feature. Prices excellent and if you are a real ale fan Nigel brews his own. We will continue to visit and look forward to spending some time in the beer garden when weather permits. Keep up the good work!

We have eaten here mid week and Sunday lunch always great home cooked food and wonderful friendly service. Great prices. Can't recommend highly enough.

This is a great place for a Sunday roast.Mine host and his staff are friendly and welcoming and there is a great selection of home brewed ales. Exceptional value for money.

We have visited this lovely pub for some years now. It is small cover-wise indoors but there is a garden too. Because it is small, it is best to book in advance. Lovely good English pub food , with a specials board, and great puds. The host is really good. It is only open from Wednesday to Sunday so check the times.
