First time eating here and it disappoint, came for my partners birthday meal and if I knew they would sing happy birthday I would t of put it down 😆 the poor ladies that sang to him. Only problem which is my own fault for not checking the receipt is a drink was added on separately rather then will the children’s meal.

Had the lunch time set menu today ..portions were generous and very tasty would recommend highly..might go for the lobster and steak next visit

Really nice place with an amazing menu. Had the Lobster today and it was fantastic. Finished up with the cheesecake which was absolutely delicious 😋. Service was a little slow and had to ask to have the table cleared after we had been sitting for quite some time as staff was walking back and forth past us, but this could have just been an odd day. Food was delicious and staff was pleasant otherwise. Will definitely come here again in the not too distant future.

Ordered the bar b q rama and I really didn't like the taste of it. Was quite greasy, the cake that came with it didn't taste very nice especially after eating their spiced sausage which had repeated on me and made me feel sick. Ordered from the lunchtime menu which is very limited on what you can have but other dishes are expensive, but then, at this day and age you get that everywhere. Service was great you can't fault it but the food wasn't so, based on my experience. Don't know if I'll be returning, but if I do, I'll have to see what else is on the menu.

We came here for the first time over the bank holiday weekend to celebrate my brother’s 30th Birthday. We had a large group of people and we had the most amazing service from the team. Dealing with large groups is not easy, there’s always someone who needs something and everyone dealt with the situations professionally. Our dinner came out all together and we didn’t have to wait to long once we ordered. We are so grateful to the whole team but especially to Jonah, Bobby and George each of them gave amazing customer service and we felt so welcome in their restaurant. We will definitely be coming again soon and would recommend this restaurant to others 10/10.

My review mirrors a few others, service fab, really excellent. Food was mediocre, smoked meats had an overpowering 'dirty smoke' flavor. Despite, it being eat all you can we kept it to the chicken as that was the best option. Disappointing food that hit hard in the wallet.

Our server Leffy was in it and was very attentive. Good arrived promptly and was top class.

Had a lovely lunch with my family to celebrate my daughter’s amazing GCSE results. The food was delicious - burgers and shakes from the Express menu and our server Matt was very friendly and provided great service - will definitely be back soon ☺️

We came for my sisters birthday group for 10 mixed adults and children. Nephi was our waiter and he was amazing! Couldn't fault the service or the food! Xxx Nephi went above and beyond was very attentive and even brought a little ice cream with a candle for my sis b day xxx

Lovely setting, busy atmosphere and very welcoming. Staff were very friendly, offered delightful service and were very professional. Kudos to them. The food however was poor and very disappointing for the money you pay. I ordered their very disappointing anorexic half lobster 🦞 with less meat than half a boiled egg. Chips and vegetables was nice, not the tartare sauce in paper ramekin cups. My partner had their Mac and cheese. Was very salty and too creamy and extremely fatty and oily looking. Not tasty enough to finish. Staff were excellent, can't fault them, but the food was not value for money. Very disappointed. Hope they improve in the future. Just my honest opinion.

Wasn't excited with the food, good service and even better atmosphere..

Food was OK, portions smaller than expected, we asked for a table but we were told that none were currently available, while standing outside I booked a table on the website, came back 2 minutes later and they took me to a table upstairs. They had live music but it was super loud, we were sat quite a distance away but it was still deafening. I immediately noticed several of the waiters were overly friendly and made me cringe listening to interactions with other diners (imagine frankie and bennies) I could feel a service charge with a smily face drawn on the bill may appear at the end of the meal... food was generally OK, burger was small, not many chips, our first order of drinks took a long time and then a second request later in the meal for a glass of water took 15 minutes, when I asked why it took so long I was advised it was due to the bar downstairs (15minutes for water from a tap!). No one came to take our desert order, it appeared that our first waiter had left or gone home, we got the attention of a waitress and ordered deserts, 2 came, 1 missing, 10 minutes later I got the waitress attention and she realised we had a dessert missing which they acknowledged and came back 5 minutes later with an apology and said it would be free as it had been forgotten by the kitchen. We tried to get the bill for the next 15 minutes but no one was visible, finally got the attention of someone passing and was brought the bill with the obligatory smiley face and automatic service charge. I requested the service charge to be removed, waitress appeared miffed, I explained that service was poor overall and for any services charges that are automatically added to a bill, I will always automatically ask for them to be removed, I would have rated this place as pretty average 3/5 but the poor service, automatic surcharge (that they hope people won't notice!) Puts it down to 1 ⭐️

Amazing food amazing service thank you

Food was tasteless, dry and cold. The meat tasted like it was pure sulphites. The milkshake tasted like it was pure sugar.

Although the food wasn't up to par, the excellent service from Jonah, who was kind, attentive, and quick to assist despite being new, made the experience enjoyable. The friendly staff and live music also added to the great atmosphere, making it a good spot for drinks or live events. However, the food quality definitely needs improvement.

The whole team were welcoming and attentive. They regularly checked if we needed refills and whether we were okay with everything. Special thanks to Casey and the gentleman that served us and helped me when baby spilled my drink. They were both good with the babies in our group. The restaurant is baby friendly. Everyone with babies looked relaxed around the restaurant. The food was nice. Enjoyed the lobster and the cornbread. Would have rated the food 5 stars if the lobster stayed warm/ hot for longer. Liked that they had instructions for opening and getting the meat out of the lobster on the wet wipes packet. Very helpful for a lobster newbie.

Can't complain at the quality of the food. The steak was cooked to perfection. Also Snow crabs were plentyful and worth the price for an extra portion. I'm always surprised when youre expected to pay extra for chips when ordering a main meal but I was even more disappointed at the size of the portion when paying an extra £4.50. It was a tiny! Service was fine to start but we did lose our server half way through the service and the waiter left subsequently had a lot of tables to cover. If someone leaves their shift or goes on a break they need to make sure there is someone to attend to all tables in the same manner.

Went here with my gf and mate, was looking forward to splashing the cash and that I did as it’s damn expensive, but I was prepared I had saved up for this. I was ready to order! I ordered the bar bq blow out which needs two people to order. Me and my gf got this with some chips and mac n cheese. I felt a little disappointed as we had no condiments, ketchup or bbq sauce etc. Maybe they do these I didn’t wait around to ask. My mate had gravy with his brisket. I now read from the menu we should off had gravy with our meal also. I’m not sure what the beans are trying to be here , to me they didn’t taste bbq at all. The meal was quite dry as we didn’t have sauce or the gravy I now seen we should have had. The lemon slushy is very nice 👌. Then the bill came with the service charge as others have mentioned. 12.50% 😬, and then the payment machines asks to leave a tip! I always walked past this place going to the cinema thinking it looked amazing. I’m glad I’ve visited but not again. There is much nicer and cheaper food at bluewater where I can get three courses and no service charge. My next visit for a bbq blowout will be the korean cowgirl in Canterbury so I shall compare with this experience.

Portion sizes are tiny and expensive for what you get. 3 potato skins for £10 is a joke. Bbq does not come with chips, £5 additional and you get 6 chips.

Food was cold and did not taste good

Food was overall OK, just a bit disappointed with the BBQ food. The smoked BBQ tastes more like a liquid smoke flavour added not like the meat has actually been smoked. My husband felt quite poorly for most of the rest of the day after having it. Such a shame as the lobster was lovely as always. Service was always great.

We sat upstairs and enjoyed the band that was playing. The food was very tasty and there was plenty of it! Our server was friendly and efficient although very busy as she had a lot of tables to look after. Service charge was a little high in our opinion for the service we received.

Absolutely ridiculous attitude and performance from the manager. Huge thanks to the general staff who did their best to make our birthday meal a pleasure, however the managers behavior, lack of respect, horrendous professionalism is offensively pathetic. It was my son’s birthday, we received some gift vouchers for his birthday and his only request was to use them at the Bigeasy. We wanted his day to be special, and this particular manager quite literally left a bitter taste in our mouths. We called at 4pm to double check that gift vouchers were accepted within this branch. We had their blessing and confirmation so we booked the table for 6:30pm (same day). We wouldn’t be able to afford the meal otherwise so we heavily relied on the vouchers to be accepted. We enjoyed our meal with the help of the staff who presented my son with a birthday cake and really made it a core memory for him. To our surprise, the vouchers were not accepted when it came to payment, they said the machine or system had been switched over and they couldn’t get it to work. The manager came over and asked us to pay with another method - this was not something we could afford right now but we still wanted to make our sons birthday special with the gift vouchers. We explained our situation (as embarrassing as it is as for us at the time), and he simply replied “it hurts me as much as it hurts you”, this was a low blow. It was incredibly unprofessional and also lacking in logic, in what world would this hurt HIM as it hurts us? My mother in law ended up footing the bill and we were very grateful for this. We checked at the Bluewater help desk and confirmed that the vouchers are indeed valid and they too are confused as to why The Bigeasy did not accept the vouchers. As a rule of thumb (as we learnt), any system update simply requires a reset and the vouchers would be accepted without any issue. To put this bluntly, the manager was simply too lazy to handle the situation. He made our special day into a nightmare, caused us more issues that necessary, all in the name of his unprofessionalism. Whether he knew or not why the machine was not working, we noticed he didn’t even try to check. His disgusting response of “it hurts me as much as it hurts you” is a vile and pathetic attempt to undermine, offend and embarrass us. I won’t name names. However I’d like to say, Mr Manager in question; you ought never to have a hospitality job .. ever! I mean.. ever! Your service, attitude and lack of patience and empathy makes you a person who is unable to perform any client facing job. Good luck with your future endeavours but until you learn how to act, behave and handle a professional situation, please consider additional training. We would like to be the last victims of your atrocious “professionalism” Thanks! From a very unhappy family.

Every time we go out as a family Blue water, we have a Lunch here. And the best choice from the menu in my opinion is Taste-o-Rama, The burger has a great taste of meat, but I didn't like the lobster roll because of the abundance of mayonnaise

I arrived on a quiet Friday afternoon. The service was very quick. We ordered a platter, which was very filling and included wings, prawns, squid, and cornbread with a choice of 5 sauces.

Food was awful! Lobster was chewy, rib tips were burnt, and the unlimited ribs tasted very strange. The only decent thing about the meal was the chips and the mojitos.

Large BBQ & seafood restaurant. Great themes and a nice lively vibe. American style with great ribs and chicken,lobster,shrimp and much more. In the evenings the upstairs area has live music, you can eat some great food at the same time. Check out their lunchtime menu,at £11 for a selection of mains and an alcoholic drink including alcohol slushies it's a bargain. It's possible to have a soft drink on this offer too.

The experience was 95 percent positive. A good atmosphere, our server was friendly and polite and the lunch menu is good value for money. My criticism is when I ordered my burger I was asked if I would like bacon and/or cheese but until I got my bill I was not aware this was chargeable. To be honest I would expect cheese to come on a burger anyway. All it would have took was the server telling me it would be chargeable, not difficult! Other than that all very good.

I had food poisoning after the Sunday lunch that me and my husband had yesterday in Bluewater.We ordered the meat dish for 28£ per person.The same happened to my husband,I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all.The brisket was no tender at all and the service was not amazing.The service charge was also high

Honestly shocked this place is still open. Overpriced and not great bbq food

I was really looking forward to this experience and excited about trying some southern US style food, sadly it was massively below par. The place is hot and humid, so not the greatest ambience. Service was slow and they didn't come back to check on us after delivering the food. They didn't even clear the dishes after 20 minutes of being finished. Food - the lobster and muscles dish I ordered was of a poor standard. They were so overcooked that they tasted rubbery and the lobster shell was dry and didn't break apart. Worst of all this cost quite a bit and ended up giving me food poisoning. I would advise to spend your money elsewhere, not enough care from staff - in kitchen or front of house. Avoid.

We order by uber a meal deal and twice we had missing items. The driver in both the occasion was not been given anything else apart what he delivered. Very disappointed, thinking to enjoy an offer instead they screwed us over our money. This will be the last time we order from this business.

food arrived very COLD and dry with no moisture. might have something to do with being sitting on counter for over 1 hrs before being delivered. very disappointed

Average quality food for the price. PLN 32.50 for an unlimited buffet... where the plate is the size of a child's portion, unlimited of course... you order again and wait 20 minutes... Perfectly long until the hunger subsides. And now the best thing is that when you order again, they bring you 1/3 of what was at the beginning. It's a pity you don't bring empty plates, you bastards. Good portions are one thing, the next thing is the food. And quality. All in one gingerbread, covered with a huge amount of BBQ sauce. It doesn't matter what you eat. There is so much sauce that it kills the taste of each meat. And the service? I don't know if everyone is working there for the first time or what's going on. I order a Coca-Cola Zero, I receive a Coronet Zero, so I say something is wrong... the beer is taken away, and after a while two people bring one Coke each. Is this some kind of hidden camera? Good thing you still pay the service charge for this circus.

Mathew was the main person to serve us and was so patient and attentive, nothing was too much we had a table of 12 for my sons birthday and he was amazing in his service and really helped to make the day special. Came to this restaurant for a family birthday meal. The first impression was good ,friendly staff. Didn't like the dimly lit restaurant or the hard to read menu. Disappointed that chips are not included and most meals come with bbq beans and coleslaw no substitutes allowed. Quite a lively atmosphere and a live band was good. Not great table service tried to bring out main meals without clearing the starters first. Also took a while when ordering drinks 🍸. If you love bbq style dining and don't mind sitting on benches ,give it a go. I found it a little overpriced for what you got.

Had the tiniest burger and my sons kids meal was bigger than mine. The chicken sandwich is actually a tiny bun with abit of added coleslaw. Was first experience and will definitely will not be going back and left hungry. The staff were not helpful when we told of our disappointment then had the cheek to charge is service charge! I would AVIOD!

Service was excellent. Food quality very good. Not much on the menu for those who don’t want to eat BBQ (I get the theming). Above average pricing; it’s ok, but slightly over-priced. Gratuity is automatically added to your bill.

Attentive and polite service from all

Ella and then Adam were AMAZING servers, both were so patient with my family’s questions and funny. Ella had to leave early so we got Adam who then gave me some birthday treats, which was so unexpected, but generous. My dad and brother’s first time and they were obsessed, couldn’t stop talking about how great it was.

I never knew Big Easy was in Bluewater, the food was delicious, Kasey our waitress was amazing plus the live music created a great atmosphere. Thank you Kasey, thank you Big Easy.

Was a lovely Sunday spent at big easy. Party of 4 adults, great seating space with room, food was excellent, good vibes, friendly staff, we througly enjoyed

BBQ Platter was okish, Son enjoyed it but not worth nearly £20 - 1 piece of brisket! The burger was dry, hard and chewy. Onions were practically non existent and the chips were dry. Everything needed reheating as it was cold. Ordered gravy and got BBQ sauce. Overall disappointed and not worth £43, wish I'd have cooked!

We have been to Big Easy quite a few times within the last couple of months and we have always had a great experience. The atmosphere and the friendly staff always make us feel welcome and it is only fair that Lilyanne gets a big shout-out as nothing is too much trouble and she goes out of her way to see that all of your needs are met... she is a big credit to the establishment. The food is delicious and the cocktails are on point too. It is safe to say we have definitely fallen in love with Big Easy.

Our orders were taken quickly, and the food came out quickly and was piping hot, ordered the brisket burger and the crab shack combo. Only thing is would have been nice to get some gloves as the combo was very messy. Other than that really lovely food, lovely friendly staff.

What a rip off, I ordered a full rack of ribs, when they arrived, they looked extremely overcooked and dry, which they were, the brisket sandwich was also dry, I am from America and this is not BBQ,there is no reason to serve over cooked ribs and tasteless brisket, and charge £70, for our meal, SHAME ON YOU, from AMERICA 🇺🇸 Even your sweet tea, was awful

Stopped for q quick lunch before cinema. Due to myself having gastric surgery I am unable to eat much, so we choose the weekdays £11 option plus £5 for each starter or dessert added, asked for it to come out together meaning I could have the starter. Chicken tenders with nachos and mustard sauce were lovely, very tasty and tender. Partner had bbq burger, chips and slaw, which he said was very nice and looked lovely his meal came with a beer and we ordered a mango juice for myself. Bill was £21 then service charge added £23.09. The meal for the food was a good price, I am still not always happy when businesses add the surcharge......I prefer to have an option to add some money (tip) if I think the waiter service etc is particularly good. Which was not bad, but due to our quick stop, did not really get to assess. Food did come out quickly and was hot and fresh.

Fantastic meal! Our waiter Adam was amazing and talked as through a very big and overwhelming menu, there were so many options to choose from. We went with the brunch and it didn’t disappoint! The meat was all cooked to perfection and sooo tasty. Adam went above and beyond to ensure we had a great first experience. We wish all staff were like him! Thank you so much, Adam! We went to a the big easy. We pre booked in the week. A point to note here is that all staff were exceptionally polite and respectful. Positives of food: Most of the food was good. Lobster, beef brisket, kids meals, 3 milkshakes and a coffee. All enjoyed the food. Negative of food: The macaroni cheese was very slight in flavour but this didn’t really impact on the meal. Service positives: Everyone was extremely friendly. Always smiling and making an effort. Food was timely Service negatives: Had to ask for water 3 times and it was very slow in coming. (We all had milkshakes prior to asking for the water) We asked for skinny fries with the lobster and was told that we could only have the chunky chips to which we declined. The server told us that we had to have it as it was part of the menu which is false. I observed the 90 minute rule. I entered 10 minutes later than scheduled after queuing for over 20 minutes which was acceptable. After eating our meals and after the water was brought to us. We wasn’t approached until we had only 10 minutes left. Then we was asked if we are ready for desert for the kids! This was far too late to be approached for desert but I said nothing but yes we will have it now. 4 minutes later we were told there are no biscuits left (oreos) I said ‘no Oreo’s?’ and looked at the server. I thought to myself, this isn’t a signature dish, surely this can be remedied in minutes!! Regardless. A restaurant should know what they have and don’t have when the customer is ordering. The children were fixed on these deserts so I had to cancel the desert as milk and cookies without cookies is just…milk!!. The bill The bill was presented to me in paper format and I looked at the total and said I will pay by card. When the server came with the card machine and I went to pay. The server then said to me, you don’t have to pay the service charge, it is optional. I thought how very unprofessional of the company to print the bill. Present it to you and then say you don’t have to pay the service charge!!!! Surely if you felt it was optional, why wouldn’t you ask the customer first. I found that action appalling and quite uncultured. I paid the full amount including the service charge as I intended but that ‘tacky’ approach was poor at the very least. As crazy as it sounds, the poor service I have to attribute to the management and not individual as it was clear that the server was over stretched. Unfortunately, that became my problem as an external customer. Good food I expect as a norm from a restaurant such as this Service is what enhances the experience and we all wanted a good service to accommodate the good food. My review was of the whole experience which was poor.

This is a fast food bbq chain who pretends to be something else.. It seems asking for dinner plates was a bit too much for the waiting staff. Any sauces for the dry and tasteless bbq meat was an extra £, surely it should come with a sauce as standard? Also, 12.5% service charge the wait staff did nothing to deserve. In this COL crisis, eating out is meant to be a treat, sadly this place is disappointing and customer service is well and truly dead.

They charged me service charge for walking in and ordering a takeaway and they couldn’t even provide me with a bag to carry the food and I had 6 boxes to carry!

Went with a large group on a busy weekend. Service from our waiter Matthew, was friendly but issues with the order meant 2 meals were missed and didn't come until after others had finished. Food was ok... But no more than that. Overall a bit underwhelmed.

Just out for lunch and decided to eat here lovely, friendly and polite staff. The food was amazing, even tho I had a problem with my order the manager sorted it out straight away. Matthew,(the manager) was very professional and polite and sorted it out straight away. Thank you would highly recommend
