Why the shop is closed from quite long time it has been 1 month nearly its close as no construction going on

If you're looking for standard takeaway pizza as opposed to the fancy stonebaked kind, you wont do much better than this in Notts. Chicken burger was also moist and tasty and the chips were hot and fresh.

Since COVID this place has not been the same. What are you lot playing at? There was a point in time this was my go to place in Notts.

Marlo is the best. Lovely man and great service. I would come into chunky chicken just for him. Side note, there was no doner meat but Marlo made up for it. Thanks Marlo :)

Ate in with my husband and 3 year old daughter.spend just over £30. Near the end of our meal my daughter needed to use the toilet desperately, Big chunks didn’t have a toilet for customers so I asked the gentleman with a beard if my daughter could use the staff toileit, he replied saying’give me 2 minutes’ I waited almost 10 minutes but he didn’t get back to me, in the end I gave up and went to McDonald’s to use their tiolet. The food is good but Big chunks management need to understand that they need to have a accessible tiolet for customers to use. It’s a restaurant with seating area.

Guy with a beard looks age of about 35-40 is so rude, has no respect and speaks with a bad tone all the time.

Ordered second time this month and the food is not worth the money, boneless chicken platter was cold, 3 chicken strips without flavour, chips cold and no flavour in rice, salad was missing, I've asked for garlic mayo but didn't receive any, shame it used to be very nice and lovely food, I won't be ordering again sadly, expensive and not worth it. When it used to be 'chunky chicken' was way better than now.. long waiting time for your order, bad service, food is ok, there is toilet but you can't used them as they said it was blocked ... I don't think that I will visit this place again...

I had pizza delivered today and this was my first and last time that I tried Big Chunks pizza, Firstly it was cold when it arrived also I payed extra for more chicken topping with pineapple, Jalapeño but unfortunately You guys didn't put any Jalapeños or pineapples. I won't recommend anyone buying next time, Also I ordered spicy pizza but the taste was sweet and two plain, Kids didn't like the pizza too, I regret wasting my money know.

***** WARNING TO CUSTOMERS**** My Partner & I wanted to 'try' a new Pizza takeaway, delivery spot here in Nottingham. Date Night kinda roll you know? Friday night, snuggled up on the sofa with a movie ready on the big screen. We decided 18:30 would be a perfect time to get our Pizza's delivered.... @ 18:40, no delivery or update from Chunky Chicken. So I called Chunky Chicken Nottingham. Extremely dismissive and tone "unbothered", an Asian gentleman expressed to me that the delivery guy is right outside basically and any moment I will have my Pizzas. >>>>>>> I switched the main bright, SAS-style beacon light on at my front porch to maybe aid in our addresses discovery. .......18:50 still no sign of our pizzas nor of Chunky Chicken Staff Our house is the ONLY large detached residential property for a square mile at this Postcode and arguably situated in the most recognised part of Nottingham. We have had approximately 300 deliveries and visitor appointments to date. Only twice did we have more trouble getting a delivery because they struggled to locate our address. Welcome again to 2022/2023 where with i,e Google Maps in long existence, there is no real excuse for getting lost. At 18:57 I see a car crawling past our property's perimeter. In the cold rain, I chased it down alerting the driver of my presence. ---> YAY it's the two 9 inch pizzas I ordered from Chunky Chicken Nottingham No apology for delivering our meal a decade later (was the feeling), but the man did apologise to me for his becoming confused with where to go. I would typically write a higher 1 star review for takeaways open this late. However after ordering a Pizza meal and Burger meal for me and my partner, I've never be left waiting over 30 minutes whilst the guy behind desk dismisses me, and would prefer to talk to drunk women to sort there order out. In retrospect, my order was 260, I didn't receive my meal until order 290 was read out. Again, to add insult to injury, my meal of a cheeseburger and fries with a pizza and fries, came out as a chicken burger. Completly unaware of how they made this mistake, instead of correcting it. I was dismissed yet again. 30 minute wait, wrong order and catered to the drunk female crowd. Personally, I would not recommend. with over 20,000 likes on reviews, I'd recommend searching for other places than this, from a certified google reviewer.

Paid nearly £7 for a burger, chips and a can of pop. Took about 10 minutes to be served despite no one being in front of me in the queue. Took 30 m8ns for my food and it wasn't even worth it.

Don’t order from this place. They get lazy and don’t deliver the food, lie that they tried and tried calling when they didn’t. Refuse to answer the phone to sort it.

Amazing place with very delicious and halal foods. It also offers special discounts to Students. The staff are very friendly. Among all the appetizing foods served here I would personally suggest to eat their Chicken Hot Wings (both as a solo or meal) and Asian Spicy Pizza.

I would have given it a 3.5. I have ordered pizzas from here over the years, usually one of the better options for halal pizzas in the city. Unfortunately, it was not up to its usual standard in times gone by I have noted that some reviewers wrote change in ownership and hinted that this is why the quality has changed- This maybe the case. Other reviewers have stated food took too long- I would say it was fairly prompt. I did not have an issue with the young lads serving either

Ordered from here lastnight and was shocked at what we received. The wrap was fine, chips were cold. Then, we ordered chicken and rice as a meal. One piece of chicken wasn't fully cooked and was pink in the middle, the other was bloody and nasty. Won't be eating from here again.

They served a burger meal in which the fires were so bad it looked like they were cooked in the same oil as fish, which made them smell like fish and it’s completely wrong for vegetarian people. Where they show they have 5 star food hygiene, which doesn’t make sense at all.

Always loved Chunky Chicken 😍 have ordered or got in the store probably about 20 times in total over my 3 years in Notts, and they have never let me down, no complaints whatsoever. The food exceeds your expectations for such incredibly low prices and for somewhere a lot of people go for drunk scran. Nice menu, all the comfort food you could want, fresh ingredients and everything is cooked perfectly. The pizzas are great - nice base and generous amount of cheese with a really nice tomato sauce too, the chips are crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside (which seems so hard to find these days.) Plus the service has always been prompt and very friendly, the guy today was a delight and brought my food within 12 minutes of me ordering! Very happy, thank you :)

I have been ordering chunky chicken for over 5 years and recently the ownership has changed and it’s a complete joke. The staff have horrible customer service and need to be taught how to speak to customers. Food has gone from 10/10 to 5/10 Good luck to all customers.

Ordered food took hour and a half to come was cold and cheese was stuck to the lid of the pizza and told me it’s Becuse I ordered barbecue sauce 🤣 what ever that means and then told me I had to wait 45 mins for a refund

We waited so long that the cheese on our pizza had aged about 3 light years, bossman was eating a quick burger in front of us instead of actually cooking our food. Finally when we did get our pizza it was about 3cm wide. Overall just go Trent kebab next door honestly much better.

Went here after local concert show, Great place for a quick bite or full meal. Good food, reasonably priced, fast service. Recommended.

Ordered mozzarella sticks and cheesy chips and it took them a full hour to make it even after asking them several times. One guy just didn’t care and another guy had to ask his colleague to start cooking my food as they’d clearly forgotten my order. Other people who’d ordered things like pizzas were receiving their food before me. It was incredibly crowded and one guy tried to start a fight with someone. Once it was ready the guy threw the food at me and the mozzarella sticks fell out the bag. It cost me £6.50 and the food wasn’t even particularly nice. Never coming here again

Horrid service having ordered many times from them using Uber eats in past had no problems but seems like they stopped delivering using the Uber app now.I will never order from this place and nor will any of my friends or family. When in for a pizza meal they made wrong order waited 30 min and then don’t even say sorry or aw awknowlesge their mistake or offer anything. I asked for spicy Mayo and had the cheek to ask me to pay for it.

Worse place ever! Friend has been good poisoned before, and had gotten really ill. Then I order food via the app, spent £22.00 never received the food. Fault on the app and all my money went down the drain. Horrible customer service. Never helped me or refunded. Ignorant and just all round horrible. I never leave reviews but this place is diabolical. Rather spend more somewhere else and be treated and get money’s worth.

I ordered two things. Chicken Burger was good and the HotShot Parmesan was good too with respect to the taste. However, the quantity was not worth the cost. I paid 10.49 pounds for the Hotshot. Before I ordered, the person who served us on the till said that it is a more than good portion size for one person. It was my first time trying chunky chicken so I was not aware of the portion sizes. I have seen the reviews online and the portion size can easily be shared if wanted to with another person. To be honest, I wanted to try it because of the eat out to help out offer but I feel I have not been given the right portion size as I got a discount. I feel disappointed and ripped off as the discount is not a gratitude by the company itself in this case. Also if the portion size was correct then it is definitely not worth the price if I am to order it at 10.49 pounds in normal days.

Avoid I would give this place a 0 stars if I could!!! They said they tried to call me I called to ask where my food was and it was left on my DUSTBIN they would not give me a refund as it was my fault that they couldn't get through to me but they didnt even knock on my door!!!!!! So cold food that was left on a dust bin in the rain and I admit I lost my temper as they kept putting the blame on me !!!! And to top it off they asked for a 5 star review and told me they loved me 😂...... avoid avoid avoid!

Asian spicy parmersan way too overpriced and the shredded beef chips are a nice however are an exact copy of toros steakhouse and also is overpriced at £10.79 and the portion is small

Not good at all.. food chains should be setting trends but not this one.. Peri Peri chicken burger tasted like it was a week old.. Pizza tasted like the dough had been pinned a couple days before.. No standards! Not very far from sending someone to hopsital over a couple quid.. Sad standards of food.
