We live in longnor and it is available for delivery on Uber eats. Ordered our meal . 2 hours later rang to see where it was . They lied and said they tried to deliver but we weren’t here !! BS !! We live in a dead end road ……no one passed in a car . He then said we live too far ….so why do you allow us to order if you don’t want to deliver to longnor ?!!! Absolute disgrace . Do not order from here .

Worst 2 pieces of chicken I’ve ever seen , straight in the bin won’t ever bother to eat it . Most stuff is ok from here but this chicken was different level

interminably slow takeaway service.. they are more intent on preparing home delivery stuff than promptly serving customers in the shop.. hopefully there'll be room on the bench for you to sit on.. as you can expect. a long wait.. but the food is top notch when they hand it over the counter.. always good quality.. and good value for this day and age...

The last 2 times I have paid for garlic naan bread on delivery with my food and on both occasions it has been missing although paid for it is only £1.20p but not the point and on last delivery my can of Pepsi max was missing on top. Poor poor delivery service paying for food and only partial order arrives . Won’t be visiting anymore.

Amazing service. Weren’t happy with our food too which the manager came personally and resolved the matter efficiently, cannot fault their service at all. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Staying in Buxton for a few nights, the accommodation was a guest house so I could not take food back to it... takeaway was a good option. Fortunately for me less than ten minutes walk was this store. It is bright and clean when you walk in and the man serving me was lovely. I only ordered chips with gravy for dinner because I did't feel I was up to eating anything else, but their menu was quite enticing... and there were items I wished I felt like eating. :) The chips were not as good as a chipper, but they were edible and hot... and served with a smile. This makes for a great quick option in Buxton if you are staying there.

We loved our lunch here, and the service was excellent! It was a big contrast with another place we tried earlier, where they halted service for 10 minutes in order to "catch up" - how ridiculous! We were made to feel welcome at Stars, despite it being busy, and couldn't fault our delicious food, at a good price too 😋. They're missing a trick by not having Buxton pudding on the menu though - surely we're not the only people who like to sample local specialities when visiting a place for the first time?

30 Market Street, New Mills SK22 4AE EnglandIt seems this is a popular cafe with locals but I probably wouldn't go back. There were a lot of (young?) staff behind the till who seemed knowledgeable, but no-one at all in the customer area. As a result tables went uncleared for a long time, tables weren't wiped down at all and the floor was unchecked. I saw a customers dog come in and eat all the droppings from the previous child before the owner could stop him. Considering the high number of staff, service was also very slow as others have mentioned, even for simple or straightforward items; we saw several customers ask who were still waiting. Our lunch was fine when we got it and the food seemed okay, and to be fair it had no shortage of people coming in. What put me off most was that the whole customer area needed a really proper clean, not just tables but wall decor, seating, floors, front window areas. I realise not everyone sees this but for me this is an important first impression as well as necessary hygiene in a food establishment.

3 Scarsdale PlaceIt was ok. But for the price I was expecting more. Small portions, and just expensive for what we got. Fish was fairly fresh, and the chips wasn’t bad
