My boy loved his pizza and cheesy chips, I loved the chicken shawarma

Great food and atmospher, will recommend this place!

Wow best pizza I've ever had. Still hot when I got to my destination. Friendly staff. The place is immaculate. Such a wide variety of choices.

Ordered over £40 worth of food and received a bag full of food with ants crawling all over everything and came out into my flat. Phoned and had to bin everything outside, and was told they cannot refund. The ants came from the baklava and were inside the packaging and crawling into others. Will not be ordering again.

Got a delivery worth £45 and there were ants over every single piece of food. Called the place and they immediately asked if we had ordered Baklava, so they knew they sent food with ants on it. Asked for a refund but they refused.

The kebab was very disappointing. The meat was tough, tasty less and luke warm. The bread was stale. I definitely wanted my money back.

Got 2 cheese burgers wouldn't feed them to my dog at a over priced shop avoid at all costs RUBBISH

Pizza middle of the road. But goujons if this is your idea of goujons wow more like bread sticks horrendous if I threw them at the wall I'd have to pay for a replastering job in my hotel. Big boss promised lots with a name like that wet wipe be more appropriate selling cardboard for goujons

Under newmanagement so a dnt no how recent but the service was shocking tbh 1 guy avn do the serving and cooking fir customers whilst his mukka scrolled thru his phone , kebab was rubber nxt time am up in the area Al b driving past 💯

Been to big boss a couple of times only really tried chips and cheese and pakora and if I go back there's no way I will be buying pakora again it's rock solid and unbelievably hard to chew and for the expensive prices they charge they really need to be spot on

The staff was unfriendly and the kebab wasn't good either

Absolutely amazing place, I know the owner as Marc Tait Jamieson Alexander Copet Esqur. Has found this place as friendly and warming you can ask for a traditional dish and it be cooked. Amazing

I get the chicken nuggets and chips here and sometimes the pizza and the food is absolutely amazing 8.49 for the chicken and chips so a little pricy but worth it!

Good food, also very good for collection. I would 100% eat else where if you’re getting food delivered. Call them up no answer!. Been over an hour and still nothing…

Squeezing in my dinner time grub. First time eh popped in was for the lunch time(dinnertime) special of burger, fries n a can o fizzy juice. Fantastic great service and care with food and me. Today a meat feast pizza. Totally magic. Menu is great. Cheers guys, I'll be back!!

My daughter and I went to a shop to eat some kebabs. We ended up ordering a 12’’ Munchy Box for around £16 for both of us. We were pleased with the order. The amount of food we got for the two of us was more than enough, and we brought around half of the portion home. I would say that the box was worth the price. The only issue was that they weren't open in the morning as we expected, but they were open in the afternoon.

When you ask for a cheeseburger with chips and get given 2 boxes of chips and no burger! Like it’s really not that hard 🤷🏻‍♀️

Horrible attitude and cheaply made food that doesn’t match the description on their menu. AVOID! And their response is rubbish. I’ve never asked for anything more than’s displayed on their menu. Deceitful people. Yuck.

The delivery food was cold. We got changed £7.50 for delivery for a mile up the rd. this was not explained on the phone. We called them to say our food was cold and we are not happy about the delivery charge. Still waiting on the owner to call us back. We won’t be back. My pizza was a spicy beef. Sadly it was not spicy at all. Very salty. Could not eat it. Had to reheat all our food. Even the dog was not interested in the food. Don’t even bother replying it’s Saturday our busy time because you are already aware of this and should be on top of it by now. We have owned restaurants ourselves there is no excuse.

Best place to grab a bite to eat late at night!

Staff is so helpful kind and bubbly Went in wasn’t sure what I was looking for as I am a fussy eater and they helped me choose something they highly recommend Would recommend to anyone in St Andrews 100%

If only the food was anywhere as good as the service and atmosphere. Went for 3 Pakooras meals with colleagues. Chips were overdone and dried out. The chicken, which was stored in a bucket behind the till, was already cooked. It's refried to then be served as 'fresh'. However it so chewy. It's almost as tough as leather. I don't believe it's worth trying again. First and last time.

It was so good, we went back the next night. Big boss never disappoints. The only stop in St Andrews for a delightful shawarma!

I liked the place, it has personality. We tried the baklavas and we had to go back to get some more because they were really good. The person that attended us was very friendly also.

Popped in for shawarma wrap and a meaty pizza tonight, food was awesome, friendly staff and they accept cash unlike dominoes

Had the hot burger and it was the right level of spicy for my liking. Chips came with a lovely spicy sauce. All are made-to-order, so just be a little patient for hot and fresh food. If you're not into spicy, please let them know or you can try it out. It taste better, in my opinion. Didn't take a photo, was kinda hungry hehehe

Charged over £10 for a delivery fee! Absolutely disgusting. Live in strathkinness so not exactly miles away. Won't be back! Foods no even worth that price! Would have been cheaper getting a taxi there and back!

Large donner kebab was very small and had hardly any meat. BBQ supreme pizza was just pizza base with overcooked cheese on top. No sign of any bbq or tomato sauce. Extremely dry. Only good thing was delivery time. Arrived pretty quickly but at £9 delivery charge to Leuchars. Won’t be ordering again. Waste of £28.85.

Excellent take away, huge selection of food, great friendly service & good food, well packaged too. They have a cash machine inside & all very clean. Recommend.

Visited with the family first time tonight,food was awesome! Bubbly bright shop,nice to see a takeaway take pride in their food.

Honestly one of the worst takeaways services I've ever experienced. Order arrived 1hr 30minutes after the scheduled delivery time (Almost 2hrs 30mins from the ordering time), it was stone cold and missing the drink. Was refused a refund.

I ordered the chicken swarma with a salad. It was fresh, vegetables crunchy, full of flavor even without the dressing. The deboned chicken and rice with grilled vegetables was superb! Last, the garlic sauce was great! It left a pleasant, garlic flavor on my taste buds.definitely 💯/

it is now twice that i have ordered something and they haven’t delivered the order altogether. They owe me about 35-40 pounds at this point and they refuse to take my call or take any action on it. they are fraudsters and they refuse to reimburse or plug the issue.

Yo! Eat here after a night out! Its THE kanob spot in St Andrew's. Get the Calpine with gyro meat, it is fuego! Music is in point and if you are cool enough they might let you sing on the microphone

Decent food, but they will scam you. Prices on the till system are £1-2 more expensive than prices on the menu board and if you call them out on it they'll act surprised (but won't change anything)

Bad vibe. Weird manager or owner made fun of my friend for his choice in sauce. Weird gravy too. Also the employee seemed to be very scared of the manager. Would not recommend.

well. That was an experience I will not be repeating. Ordered takeaway from Big Boss tonight to try something new - NEVER AGAIN! The burger had never seen meat in its life, it was a limp piece of brown grease, tied together by sheer will power alone. The mayonnaise I had requested on my burger was something more akin to paint thinner than something I would eat. The "chips" are French fries (fine - but specify) which arrive more soggy than a student after the May dip, minus the salt. Then to add insult to injury I received the smallest curry sauce you have ever seen and had the pleasure of being charged £1.50 for it. I genuinely couldn't eat it, and I am not one to waste food even if its bad. I will not be back. Sadly drunk students will keep this business afloat, but if you are looking for a good takeaway I suggest you look somewhere else!

We went in after a night out, got completely taken advantage of and charged double the amount of what we ordered. Would not recommend to anyone and they should be investigated.

Got a mixed kebab big mistake it's the worst kebab I've ever had. Meat was tasteless , 2 bits of chicken and loads of chunky fatty meat! The sauce was bland. Wouldn't last a minute in a city. Terrible.

Had 3 pizzas and 2 chips between 5 folk. Good ambience, pleasant staff.

Worst takeaway I’ve ever been too. Dirty fries with awful chicken and cold chips for £7 extra £2.50 for cheese. Chicken burger with lettuce £5.50 on the menu and got charged £6. Ordered 2 cans of pop, I only received one as he said I only paid for 1. This is until call him out for charging me £4 for a can. Upon payment they don’t say how much you owe, they type it into the card machine and don’t show you. I asked for a receipt as I felt we had been overcharged previously. How right I was. Adding extra charges onto your bill on the sly hoping they get away with it. The staff are so rude too.

If only leaving no stars was in option. I ordered the munchy box, pakoras were terrible, the cheapest possible frozen chips, worst donner meat I've ever had, chicken schwarma over seasoned (possibly to hide something) and inedible, no pitta bread just some stale roll in replacement, and their chilli sauce is ketchup with chilli powder in it. Empires round the corner, just keep walking and pass this place by.

There portion size is completely inaccurate. I ordered a 10” pizza and got a 9” which was stuck to the box. The wrap wasn’t even a wrap and the filling was horrendous, 2 pieces of chicken. Would not advise to order from here.

Ordered munchie box, was really disappointing. All the meat tasted at least a day old, had little to no flavour. Wouldn’t eat here again.
