Hello. Me and my friends have just ordered from you. As long living citizens of the Rishton and great harwood area we are big fans of Big Bite and the nostalgic MCalis’s. Hearing the same owners have the takeaway and in regards to the chicken wrap I came in store to buy around a year ago, I recommended this takeaway to friends. Online we saw that the chicken wrap was 7.00 , this is without chips. Wow. However, remembering how much I enjoyed the chicken wrap from last year I assured friends that the size and quality was worth it and that they could even share. The food has just been delivered and eaten and I am sad to say the chicken wrap , not even the same kind of chicken as last year , was small. It used to contain at least 2/3 breasts of chicken and would knock any man to his bed with pure satisfaction. This wrap was unsatisfactory and I really can not understand what it is this wrap contains now that is even worth anywhere near the 7.00 mark. This surely must be some kind of scam , as any chefs, manager , or customer buying this in store would question the quality of this ‘meal’ . Sorry to be fussy , however , as people who do not earn too much money, a takeaway at the end of the week is a treat. Disappointing and sorry to say so. Please reassess the prices of your menu as the food is good, but not that good. Thank you and have a nice day from pissed person making effort in between bevs to write this . Xxx

Ordered a mixed kebab but instead of getting sheesh the kebab contained chopped up burger which, when i rang, the takeaway claimed most people preffered which is obviously a lie. The donner meat is also the cheapest skankiest imitation meat that has ever entered my mouth.... absolutley disgusting.

Ok food but overpriced as no competition in rishton, all takeaways are chinese or theres one more indian thats expensive too, my advice is telephone for a delivery from accrington as its cheaper and if im honest its better too

if i could i would rate it 0 stars, the food was nearly 40 mins late, the pizza was sloppy, the curry was horrible, chapatti was soggy, and the spicy wings had no flavor or spice at all, i am very disappointed after reading good reviews i would NOT recommend to anybody.

Good god, the food was amazing, never seen a kebab so big, kids eat all their chicken and chips, no grumbles and I'd miss ordered, a pizza I thought I'd ordered was missing and the driver ordered and returned with it in double quick time!! Can't fault it one bit

My order was delivered too early.. I know not many customers would be disappointed with that but my family were due home at a certain time so I ordered the food to be delivered to coincide with that time, apart from that everything was delicious as always. Check delivery times lol.

Great service and local delivery. Not the cheapest but good value non the less. Curries. Pizza. Chicken plenty of choice...kebabs are HUGE. I can recommend chicken Tikka Marsala with bombay potatoes.

Food was horrendous. Half of my order was missing and customer service was poor. The food actually tasted off and went in the bin! Huge waste of money. They charged me a delivery fee which I wasn't aware of until after paying and my order wasn't even small. Would never order from here again

Food is always nice but came with missing pizza then when he came back with it tried telling my partner that it was only one pizza even tho it said x2 pizza on the paper and he was waiting for payment even tho I've paid on this site

Awful. Food was cold, the chicken kebab (not sure it was chicken!) was swimming in chilli sauce with no salad-when the order was for garlic sauce AND salad, Never ever again!

Absolutely horrific. Will not eat from here again. Took over an hour to come, when it came they forgot half our order and then the meat wasn't even chicken. No idea what it was but it wasn't edible. When we contacted them for a refund all we were told was 'contact just eat they will sort it out'. Diabolical I have been put off Indian food. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Big Bite never fails to make me happy!! Always quick to deliver, they never get my order wrong, the food always arrives hot and the service is always fantastic and friendly. deffinately 100% THE BEST takeaway in Blackburn!!!!!!!!!

The ribbs was terrible, some horrible coating, i spent 8 pound on ribs and fed them to the dog I was lucky I ordered a burger aswell otherwise it would of been a complete waste of time. Confidential your rib in oil and paprika, so oil covers them then cook for 4 hours at 180 degrees. And serve with sauce, not horrible coating Was a very big shame, as customers service was excellent!!!

The food was great. It was great value for money! Just a shame about the minimum order price I only wanted the kebab, but Otherwise I couldn't be happier. This is my new takeaway for kebabs. Thanks to the guy behind the counter that recommended it to me when I 1st went in!

My large tandoori kebab was immense it will do as brekky in morning as well cant finish it! Burger n chips was fine, chicken wrap was ok but i think you should be able to pick ur own sauce rather than no choice ( unless we missed a link with a choice) our first order like lol! Only down side for me n its a personal preference is the chips tasted bland no flavour and i think the oil may need changing! But that kebab is immense and forgives any other short comings! Tandoori mixed kebab get on it guys , large on naan with garlic omg mmmmm

The pizzas were absolutely fantastic, so yummy and cheesy, the chicken, Keema and naga tasted amazing. The only negative point I would make is that the garlic bread was quite burnt and we left the majority of it, overall a good service with tasty food

I am absolutely disgusted to say that I have turned over my pizza and found spots of mould. This is revolting I am disgusted and will never order from here again! This is rancid (Remember to turn over your pizza)

Tasty, but most of the pizza was stuck to the top of the box because it was squashed under everything else

The delivery was quicker than expected but the food was vile. The curries were what seemed to be microwaved from frozen and the ribs were just inedible. Would not recommend at all.

Not being local we where totally reliant on reviews to pick somewhere to order a kebab from and this most definetly didnt disappoint we had large kebabs on naan and we could have easily shared one between us the quality of the donner and the rest of the meats was great as where the dressing and sides we'll definetly be ordering from here again

I always order the same dishes, and I am often surprised by the different qualities - appearance, aroma, texture, taste and the rest - in what I receive. The chicken Madras from McAli has a plentiful sauce of wonderful consistency (like a tapioca pudding) colour (tantalising dark elements, without the redness) and the meat has a well-sealed surface so that the interior of each piece is satisfyingly moist. The taste is robustly hot, as Madras must be, and the rest is there too - even the anise, often undetectable in versions I´ve tasted elsewhere. This not cheap food, but it is immensely satisfying.

The Vindaloo tasted sweet and even though i asked the chef to make it extra spicy it wasn´t any where near hot enough, the keema naan lacked any keema the chips were wet and soggy the only redeeming part of this meal was the stuffed mushrooms, which werent the best ive had by far, the salad came in the same tub so was warm but there was a generous portion. Probably will not order again. The Trishna on Bolton road is not as expensive and probally the best indian takeout in Blackburn.
