Bibi's Cafe in Fife

The place is cozy and nice. The food is great and the vibes are very welcoming. The owner of the place works hand in hand with the staff and he knows the guests by names

we enjoyed a lunch time visit to Bibis and ordered berry pancakes and Stornaway stack. Everything about our visit was relaxed and professional. Food was first class and we were well looked after by duty staff. The surroundings are pleasant and the atmosphere relaxed.

An outstanding location to grab a healthy and tasty lunch. The food is made from scratch and all options are healthy. The husband and wife team running the place have wonderful attentive staff.

Excellent soup. Large bowl of piping hot lentil and ham soup served with lovely cornbread. Nice scone and latte too. Good friendly service. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

I was waiting for a St Andrews tour to start and decided I needed a snack. I went in an grabbed a slice of the salted caramel cake to go- it was fantastic and much needed!

Sehr schönes Café um zu Mittag zu essen oder auch Scones zu essen. Bedienung schnell und freundlich. Preislich völlig in Ordnung. Immer gut besucht!

Just stopped here whilst out walking for coffees only but main reason was that it was dog friendly - always a winner. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Quick service and the homemade scones were super. Bright airy and well furnished, great atmosphere.

Nice little family owned spot right near where we were staying in St. Andrews. Attentive staff and always hustling; very good food and delicious looking cakes. Would recommend.

The best little lunch spot! Stopped in with family for lunch before heading to old course. We were met with a happy greeting, friendly service, and when we couldn’t figure out the app to pay for parking, they spotted us a few coins! Truly could not have asked for a better place to welcome us to St. Andrew’s. Family friendly, dog friendly, great food options, and fabulous coffee. Tasty lunch today at Bibi's. Very busy when we arrived and we had a 10 minute wait for a table. Worth the wait. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, my friend had the Eggs Florentine, we both enjoyed our meal. As always it has to be followed by a sweet treat 🤗 White choc and cranberry tiffin. Drinks we had were Irn Bru, peppermint tea and a black coffee. Clean, tidy and nice atmosphere. Staff were lovely, table service quick. Will visit again as there are other things on the menu I'd like to try 😋

Friendly welcome, good food. A popular place with students and others. Great for brunch or a light lunch. Soup and sandwich good value. Great coffee. Excellent cakes, scones and traybakes. Temperature is a bit cool in winter but probably fine in summer.

Came for breakfast on 2 separate occasions and both times the food and service was excellent. Great menu choice and the staff are great.

The food is good but the service is awful, asked if we were done with our drinks - the waitress didn’t even wait for a response before grabbing the glasses off the table! We had only been there for around 40 minutes and felt pressured to leave before we were finished

Love the food here and the restaurant is nicely decorated. I can’t fault it except on both occasions last week the staff were not very friendly, especially one waitress who could not seem to muster a smile. A bit off putting and a pity really as it casts a shadow on what could be a fabulous place to eat.

Visited with my wife and 3 teenage daughters for a brunch on our last full day in St Andrews. Welcome and service was super friendly. Lots of choice on menu from breakfast options (up to 11h30), brunch options, teas, coffees, smoothies, etc. Food was fresh and tasty, pancakes thick and fluffy - simply delicious. Place was busy - a testament to the quality of food and service provided - and had a good vibe. We were seated indoors, but there is also a nice outdoor area at the back, which is where I’ll be next time I visit🙂!

Big slobbery dog went in before us so we all turned round and went elsewhere. This is quite off putting for somewhere selling food.

Stayed in STA for 3 weeks. Bibi's was about 100 yards from our residence. Had breakfast there first day and returned about a dozen times after that. Food quite good, reasonably priced, service excellent--warm and accommodating. A lot to like here.

We received a genuinely warm welcome. We’re a family of 3 plus dog. We were quickly seated, dog received a welcome bowl of water. We had a fera Mrs salad, smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel and ciabatta sandwich plus a berry smoothie. All outstanding and included delicious salads. Would definitely recommend.

We visited while on a day trip to St.Andrews, while unassuming from the outside I loved the decor. We where seated and given menus promptly, we ordered 2 Stornaway stacks. Delicious! Couldn’t fault the food at all. The service was a little indifferent . No one asked us how our experience was and service was very business like and not very personable. But the food made up for it!

Pleasant venue with prompt service. The menu is eclectic and generous potion sizes. I enjoyed my meal although it’d been left waiting a little too long and so wasn’t piping hot.

Para empezar con lo bueno, el servicio fue bastante rápido a pesar de estar muy concurrido y está decorado de manera deliciosa, realmente es una cafetería bien diseñada por dentro. Sin embargo, la comida y las bebidas no eran más que normales, con un par rozando lo malo. Mi batido no era ni tan cremoso ni tan azucarado, por lo que era ultra suave, aunque básicamente agradable. Los panqueques de mi padre eran lo suficientemente buenos, pero no los mejores, y mi pila de stornoway era sólida: sus haggis y morcilla estaban bien, pero no se sentían de alta calidad y su salsa bernaise no era particularmente sabrosa pero, nuevamente, la ensalada estaba bien. Sin embargo, la tostada de huevos revueltos de mi madre era absolutamente mediocre: la tostada era bastante dura y los huevos posiblemente eran los más secos que he probado en un restaurante. En resumen, un lugar pequeño y agradable con comida de café excelente pero estándar, como es de esperar. Piense que tal vez se intercambie un poco con su nombre.

I came in here with my family the other day for some lunch. We were more than satisfied with the service and food we received! The eggs benedict was outstanding! Also we where made to feel very welcome with the staff more than helpful when we spilt our drinks by mistake and then got them replaced without hesitation. Great experience and will definitely be back!

Came here for lunch with friends. Food is average. A little bit on the pricey side. The interior is nice and pleasant, However do not let this deceive you as the experience was totally let down by downright rude and disrespectful staff. We were greeted with a sigh when we came in and politely asked for a table and were given several eye rolls from the waitress when she came to take our order. Not once were we checked up on or asked if the food was OK. The waitress was very snappy and less than accommodating. We were made to feel less than welcome. The cutlery we were given was filthy and when the waitress noticed that we had dirty cutlery we were met with a snarky comment. The Experience was majorly ruined by the terrible service. This is the second time I have been here both times with shocking service. Will not be back.

Desayuné un domingo. Esperando hasta después de las 10 de la mañana para abrir el café. Pedimos café y chocolate caliente que estaban bien. Ambos teníamos huevos Benedict y los huevos escalfados estaban exagerados para que la yema fuera sólida y no líquida. Promedio y no se apresuraría a regresar dada la elección de otros lugares y precios. El café también estaba helado, lo que significa que nos sentamos con nuestras chaquetas puestas.

The children had a chocolate milkshake each. They charged £4 each. That is a complete rip off. £1.50 would be acceptable or £2 not £4. The children ordered Panini’s & got toasties. & the girl muttered something when we said. My mother’s scone was forgotten about. A shame as it’s a nice cafe. But won’t be back. If I saw the price of the milkshakes the kids would have got tap water. St Andrews or not that is taking the mick out of people when it probably cost 0.20p to make.

I met a friend for lunch today. I had lunch there years ago and thought it very nice. However, today I was very disappointed and will never go back. The staff were helpful and cheerful, but the place was not very clean. I was completely put off my lunch. The menu was really dirty, all it needed was a wipe each time the table was cleared. Every where I looked it was dirty. The chairs were very wobbly, I tried a couple and they were the same. Having said all this. The place was busy with people, mostly students, who didn’t seem the least bit put off by their not very clean surroundings.

Visited for coffee/tea/smoothies and cakes. All were excellent quality at a reasonable price. Lots of local folks in which always is a good indicator. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would def return again and sample some of their meals as they looked impressive.

One of the best breakfasts we’ve had anywhere. Fabulous choice of dishes in a cosy little setting. Service was fast (unusual for a place in St Andrews) food hot and delicious too. We had the stack and the huevos rancheros, both of them represented great value. Will definitely be back soon.

This is one of the worst cafes I have ever been to. Picked from menu on the wall apparently they no longer work from this menu & haven’t for some time. Placed order from menu to be told sorry we don’t have any of that for three different items. I then asked for chicken & mayo to be informed they don’t have mayo.

Nos detuvimos para almorzar entre una conferencia universitaria y un recorrido a pie por la ciudad (estaba cerca de nuestro alojamiento en el dormitorio). Tuve una maravillosa ensalada de aguacate, queso feta y tomate secado al sol untado con un espeso aderezo de vinagre balsámico y un refrescante jugo de manzana. Curiosamente, el restaurante permite a los clientes traer sus perros. Mientras que la mayoría se portaba bien, sentado tranquilamente debajo de mesas o sillas, un perro ladró al salir, sin duda tratando de establecer los derechos territoriales. También observamos a algunos estudiantes con sus gruesas túnicas rojas que se usan tradicionalmente en la clase y en las calles, una interesante parte de la vida.

Me and my daughter came for a lunch snack. The setting is pretty cool and the staff was friendly (mostly). My daughter had a smoothie that apparently was delicious. I had a nice hot sandwich and coffee. Nice.

Bibi's Cafe's motto, "HOME OF GREAT FLAVORS" displayed on window from the street is true and valid. Bibi, owner, personally took our order promptly, notwithstanding the busy lunch hour: French Brie Paninis w/Fine Tomato and Chilli Jam, Avacado Toast, and Butternut Squash...ALL DELICIOUS! I marveled at the efficiency of Bibi and her staff. Food is prepared behind the counter and in full view. WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMENDED. Total bill for two: 25.85 GBP.
