Bhujon Dining | Indian Restaurant in Mere Green in Birmingham

Asked for a nargis kebab came out cremated said to the waiter and explained it was overcooked and he replied you need to specify how you want it cooking well not bloody cremated for a start they took it back and came back even worse!! They showed no care and well that is that the rest of the meal was overpriced for not even mediocre quality food and will never eat here again. The worst experience and meal I’ve eaten around Sutton Coldfield 1 star is being generous!!!!

Honestly disgusted that they can get away with serving what they serve it’s disgusting and they take no pride in what they serve it genuinely shocks me how many people don’t know good food

The food was honestly awful. Me and group of friends who regularly attending Indian cruisine restaurants can all agree this is by far the worst! Their are so many better quality and better priced restaurants then this! The food wasn’t piping hot as we would expect and it was awful. When.i compare the quality I may be biased because I have been too so many better restaurants then this. I wouldn’t even try this place as it was not even too standard. Microwave ready made meals are better than this. Would not go again ever

Quiet Wednesday night visit. Food was good served quickly and the price good. Decent.

Eaten here before & it doesn't disappoint. What I did find unusual though was, it would appear it's a BYO 😲 Sat down ordered drinks, meal etc and a group of people came in with shopping bags full of cans of beer, bottles of wine & spirits. This went on the whole time we were there🤷🏻‍♂️ It would have been nice to know.

We come every week and love the food here, always fresh, always clean and really friendly staff. My fav are the tawa dishes, served on a sizzling plate 👌🏼

Had a delivery great food as usual but did not receive any onion salad or yogurt dressing with our popadoms

Have been previously and enjoyed the food but on this visit our table of 8 all said that our dishes - whilst looking great all lacked any depth of flavour and it was a very disappointing experience.

Ordered a takeaway on Saturday night It was quite possibly the worst one ever :( Tasted sweet looked orange and had one piece of chicken (chicken murg masala ) I had a biriani and it was so dry I couldn’t eat it And also we got a random veggie soupy curry thing which we didn’t order but that was so awful it went straight in the bin ! Very disappointed and won’t have a takeaway again from here Sad because the service was fab Please try harder Bhujon because you are so local and service the four oaks area you could be very popular 😢

Great meal at Bhujon with friends. South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken is fantastic. So nice, I went back the next day for a takeaway.

Walked into an empty restaurant, server who had no customer service skill struggled to find us a table. 6 of us sat down as he threw the menus on the glasses on the table. Spoke to management who once I said I wouldn’t be returning couldn’t of cared less, people talk and we won’t be recommending this establishment. Pints are under poured. Food was ok but I have been served better and served with hospitality which was lacking here. Ruined our meal out, we paid and walked out. Staff were even rude as we exited and basically turned their backs on us! The picture of the pint was what I was served, I didn’t say anything as within two minutes of walking in I wanted to walk out! I didn’t see things improving and they didn’t!

Went for the Michael Jackson Tribute Dec 23. Great food as always, very good atmosphere and the tribute act was excellent with lots of the best know hits to sing along to

Been here a few times now. Tonight was busy with a full restaurant . We had 4 mains 2 rice 2 nan 4 drinks. £76 good value as the food was decent . Bread and rice was perfect.

Nice place to eat in.... main meals are nice but the starters are on the small side... but the nice part about it you can take your own drink...

Excellent. Their early week offer is particularly bargainous. And the fact that you can take your own booze also helps.

My family have been using the restaurant since it opened nearly 10 years ago on a very regular basis and can honestly say 5* the staff go above and beyond the food is always fantastic and I would thoroughly recommend the tribute nights every December New Years and the Micheal Jackson evening great atmosphere we are extremely lucky to have such a great place in mere green Another wonderful evening Thankyou Angie and John

We were accomodated quickly with no waiting, the food was excellent and arrived promptly. All round, a great experience.

Went for a meal Saturday 19th August, I only just beat my starter to the table🥴clearly just reheated Sheek kebab, tough as old boots. Main meal was hunt the chicken. Felt like it was a drive through in and out in 31 minutes. I’m sure this was a one off 😉

Ironically food was pretty good. Issue is the service both timing and attitude. You feel like an inconvenience and have to wait forever to be one.

Food was superb. Great depth of flavour and many layers of spice. Definitely one of the best.

Got food poisoning today after eating there last night. Wine tasted watered down and service was poor - pointed to table where we should sit. Several blokes sitting around entrance playing on phones- weird. But mostly should not be sick after eating in a restaurant.

This place is by far the best curry house I have been too, absolutely beautiful food. Friendly staff, fast at bringing food out, I went there for Christmas dinner and went back a week ago and it was fantastic can not wait to return again😁 very happy

Another cracking delivery tonight and hands down the best chicken shaslick we've ever had. We shared a shaslick and jalfrezi and the chicken was so tender and generous in size, flavours were bursting in the jalfrezi and the rice and naan were delicious too. So glad you've got online orders and delivery now as we'll definitely be repeat customers

Nice food. Reasonably priced. Went on a weekday so it was quiet therefore quick service from the kitchen. From the floor staff, some were more tentative than others. Overall good experience 👍

So disappointed :( we had a table of 7 and the staff just seemed extremely uninterested. Almost annoyed at having to take our order/serve food. Food was okay but wouldn’t go back due to the service. The man who showed us to our table, a bit older with a beard was lovely however.

Went for the Christmas day lunch I'd have been happier with beans on toast - I'd describe it as yesterday's dry chicken - our table also felt pressured to eat up pay n clear off Happy Christmas 🎅

It was my first time in the restaurant , one of the party had recommended this lovely place, the other 2 of us had not been . And we are most definitely going there again. Had another fantastic visit to Bhujon last night. I ordered Balti chicken garlic chilli with a plain nan and it was deliciously full of flavour and spice just how I like it. My wife was also pleased with her Chicken tikka mushroom saag masalla and basmati pilau rice. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Add to that they allow you take your own drinks makes it good value. Not only does Bhujon do the best curry in town but probably one of the best restaurants in town. Well done Bhujon.

Excellent food & customer service is great

Only recommend for biryani and naan. I have tried their food twice now Rice dishes are good but platter was v bad. The chicken tikka and tandoori chicken in the platter was not fresh I couldn't eat it. Their presentation is good.Fine dining but food is not good.

Really nice Indian restaurant serving Bangladeshi food. Service excellent and food perfect. Recommend this place for a leisurely meal. Ambiance is superb. I like how the service is not rushed. 10 out of 10.

Bhujon is a really nice restaurant setting, it feels different walking in and looking down upon the restaurant to the right. It is spacious inside with high ceilings, but feels cosy also. The food is absolutely delicious, and each time I've been the staff have been very friendly, definitely worth a visit!

Excellent food served by wonderful staff

We visited here last night and were so disappointed. They only had white wine, prosecco or cobra so we had to walk to sainsburys to get drinks. The starters, paneer was burnt and bhaji was tasteless. The mains came out so quickly it was very obvious they were microwaved. Cheese naan were missing the cheese! If it wasn't for the fact it was late and we hadn't eaten all day as we were looking forward to the meal, we wouldn't have eaten the food. I think the quality would have been much better at weatherspoons. We will definitely not be returning...

This place is a rip off..... they don’t encourage takeaway coz they can charge more on dine in service, they don’t want to give any condiments like sauce or salad on delivery, this isn’t good on my opinion..... should treat all their customers same ...... and not being stingy to their delivery service customer.....will not recommend to any of my friends or families unless they change their attitude.....

A little bigger than most local Indian restaurants with entrance and seating on ground level and dinning on a lower level. Not sure how a wheelchair would cope? Decent menu with the usual suspects and some combo dishes (Madras/Korma). Take your own beer or use the bar! Chicken pouri and chicken biryani - both tasty and good quantity Not a bad first visit for me.

Group of 6 visited. Smartly decorated. Two of us had Tandori lamb chop starter. My friend couldn't bite through his as so tough. Complained and no apology. Just said they'd knock them off bill. Long wait for second course. One meal cold. When waiter was called it all seemed too much trouble. Food almost thrown onto table when served and waiters looked like they couldn't be bothered. Food not particularly good. We won't return.

Food is excellent here. Tasty and fresh. Great mid week deal. You can even take your own drinks. Highly recommend this place. Lovely atmosphere and classy dinning.

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, the food was great and so was the portion size, can't complain at £12.90 for popodom with sauce, any starter, any main, with either rice or naan, and tea or coffee, deffinetly be coming here again

Always great food and service here. Have tried a few dishes and the chilli garlic tawa is my favourite. Will be back.

Had a lovely 3 course meal, for £13. Great value for money and it was delish. Nice atmosphere and you can take your own drinks or order from the bar. Will definitely go again and recommend.
