Second visit and equally delighted. Lovely ambuence, gorgeous food. Not a massive menu choice but all good. SCONES TO DIE FOR. Only minor negatives are the very unckmfortable hard chairs and being served food and not having ut explained that we needed to collect cutlery and condiments. Neither spoiled the visit but making sure custimers know the situation with cutlery would improve the perception of the service.

Visited Betty Berkins several times on our way to Conwy …. Great food and service and all home made …. Cakes are exceptional Highly recommend.

We'd been told about this place and finally got here. What a find! Spick, span and comfortable. Welsh speaking (if you want it), dog friendly even selling doggie ice cream. Although not a huge menu the food was different from the norm and beautifully prepared and presented for example garlic mushrooms brie and caramalised onion chutney toastie with a little salad. Just to die for and not too much garlic. If all that ipsn't enough there's a beautiful gift shop attached selling some more unusual products and not the usual tacky gifts so many "gift" shops sell.

We wanted to stop for a break to our trip to Anglesey, Rhosneigr. Betty Berkins was about halfway to our destination so we decided to try it. What a delightful place; lovely and clean and we got such a warm welcome. The food we had was delicious and we were sorry we were too full to sample the lovely home made cakes; but hopefully we will stop on our way back home and rectify this. A really lovely place to which we will visit again....and again.

First visit and definitely not the last. We had the most lovely lunch here. Everything about our visit here was amazing from the food to the service. The soup was absolutely delicious and the sandwiches were made with the freshest bread and ingredients. The cake was so yummy and moist and not overly sweet - just perfect ! The service was amazing ! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our doggy was given some water and treats - it is nice when someplace says they are dog friendly that really are dog friendly and your doggy is made to feel like part of the family. We love to support local businesses and for us that’s one of the major factors in deciding whether we would go somewhere again and we will definitely be back here again to enjoy the lovely service and food. Great prices, great food and great service - thank you so much to all the staff x

Such a friendly, warm welcome on arrival. We wanted a stop off for lunch off the A55 and Betty Berkins Coffee Shop didn't disappoint. So pleased we found this place for our 7 travellers. We will certainly be calling in again

Fabulous coffee shop, with very friendly staff and lovely cakes, cakes looked to die for but didn’t indulge. Stop with my girlfriends on way to north wales for lunch, not far off the A55. I would recommend eating here

A truly great find, staff very friendly and lunch and coffee excellent. Our dog was with us. He behaved well until the lady came to collect our empty plates. For reason we will never know, he lunged, disconcerting for us and her too. I apologised and he was quite calm again as we left. We have to say until that moment the visit was excellent.

A cracking find not far off main road. We had breakfast naps - substantial and filling. Then went on to try the biscotti cheese cake - very yummy.

Lovely cafe inside, was looking forward to it… Very pricey for the amount you get… £10.95 for smashed avocado on toast. Soup couldn’t in a smaller bowl!! Be aware the price doesn’t reflect in the portions. I’ve never seen coleslaw served in a more tinier bowl😂 staff were friendly. The food was nice

We had stayed at the local travel lodge after attending a wedding in the area and Betty Berkins seemed to have good reviews. It was delightful in every way. Very welcoming, friendly chatty staff and the breakfasts we ordered were all of top quality. Lovely way to start the day. Don’t hesitate to go if you’re in the area!

Me, my wife Clare and our 🐕 Morâg have just visited for the first and most definitely not the last time. My breakfast was superb, Clare's poached eggs were done to perfection and Morâg loved her sausage. Oh I almost forgot to say that it is worth a visit just for the Kiwi coffee.

What a hidden gem. Staff amazing, food outstanding Great choice on the menu and the cake selection out of this world. We'll worth a visit. The shop adjoining is lovely with a mixture of old and new if you love wooden crafted items like me.

Haven’t reviewed for a while so just repeating previous reviews I’ve done. Betty Berkins….you are still as good as ever. Thursday April 14th…Acknowledged as soon as we enter,seated quickly and efficiently and food ordered and brought out to us within 10-15 minutes…fresh,hot and very tasty . The staff here are without exception,the very best there is. So congratulations on doing a brilliant job.

Cost a fortune for supposedly high tea , they took an hour to arrive sandwiches ok but the cakes were cheap and not at all nice no tea or coffee which usually arrives with high tea we paid separately for coffee. It was a very sad expensive experience. I would not advise anyone wasting their money, one member had a cheese toasty which was burnt to a crisp . Very unhappy 🙁

Delicious food, great service and cakes to die for. Well worth a visit, even if for cakes and coffee (quiche and cakes,etc are all homemade). We booked and glad we did as it was very busy.

Always excellent food, service and friendly staff. We asked for the specials and chose steak and ale pie. It arrived beautifully presented and the steak was delicious I however didn't know the price of the special as it wasn't written anywhere I could see and found out as I was paying It was delicious but myself and my husband have big appetites and felt the portion could have been a little more generous for the price. However it was delicious and I couldn't fault it otherwise. I would check the price of the specials in future when ordering so don't feel embarrassed at the till

Had coffee and cake followed by lunch with friends. The setting is excellent with large car park and gift shop to go in as well. The cafe is well decorated and traditional offering all teas and coffee's as well as cold drinks and home made cakes and other treats. Lunch menu extensive, quality ingredients and well cooked and presented. Prices offer good value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed a good catch up in fine surroundings.

Accidentally stumbled across this place when we were on our way home from visiting wales. We ordered a breakfast after breakfast finishing time, and it was lovely. The lady was very friendly and food arrived very quickly, and tasted of good quality. Only thing I’d prefer was a runnier egg but that’s just personal preference. We didn’t try the cakes as we were too full from the breakfast but they looked beautiful and there were so many to choose from. Thank you ☺️
