We bought meat and milk from the shop after recommendations about the quality. Unfortunately both were well out of date ( we didn’t realise until home). A great shame as they were not cheap and unacceptable to be selling gone off produce.

We have just stopped in a little gem. We drank an iced coffee and ate a carrot cake home-baked. It was delicious. All the staff are so nice, even our dog Cuki had a treat and lots of fuss. Thank you for your brilliant customer service. We will be back. 🐕😊

Originally popped in for a sandwich (unfortunately did not sell) but before entering the lady saw me struggling to find my mask in my bag. The lady was very polite and informed me there was sanitizer to use, I was the only one in the shop and she would wear a mask instead. The produce (meats and cheeses from what I remember, definitely meat) looked amazing. I will definitely be supporting this local farm shop on my next visit

First impressions are everything. We specifically routed our walk via Berwick Farm Shop as it had been great all the previous times we had visited. Unfortunately it was closed. My 6 month pregnant wife needed a break so she sat on the bench outside for a couple of minutes. In this time a lady from the Farm Shop arrived in a white van and was extremely rude to both of us before entering the shop. She was very hostile and we promptly left. We will not be returning tomorrow as originally planned.

Not much more to add. It's basically a market stall with a very small tearoom attached. We bought some veggies, which were nice enough. It's worth a look if you need to buy groceries but it's not a big farmshop type thing.

the farm shop is about a half mile from the main road, but we found it to be well worth the visit. The farm shop was well run by Vikki who greeted us with a lovely smile and who served us tea for two in the small tea room. We were pleasantly surprised to find that not only could we get a lovely pot of tea which held more than two cups each, but there were some lovely artisan items for sale including greeting cards, of which we purchased a selection. There was also a nice selection of home made cakes. The shop also had a butchery department and groceries and also vegetables. The tea room was not huge, but would seat about a dozen and the toilet was very clean and tidy, what more could you want?

My son decided that we should go here every day of our camping trip. It was such a sweet little gem - getting an ice cream and sitting outside. The lady proprietor was lovely and it felt like an extra special part of our holiday. Great to find local cheeses. The only thing stopping me giving a 5 star was that I would have loved to see organic things. Still, they stocked Longley Farm yoghurts, which always puts a smile on my face.

On our way back from Cornwall, (needing both sustenance, a leg stretch and most importantly a loo) we noticed the sign for the Berwick farm shop. What a result! They have delicious fresh food and gorgeous looking cakes. We asked whether they had anything to eat and were very happy to find that they had steak pies which were almost ready to come out of the oven. 10 minutes later, having been able to use the staff loo (with much relief!) we received a steak pie each and it was probably one of the best I have ever eaten. The meat was absolutely superb. We also had a cafetiere of very good coffee. They have a single roundtable which can seat up to about six people with a pretty cloth and comfortable chairsThey have a selection of cards, biscuits, jams and chutneys as well as for cakes and their own home produced meats. We bought sausages, black pudding, bacon, Lamb fillet as well as pastry cases and cards. The lamb fillet was absolutely delicious. We cooked it - as they suggested - with some mint leaves and butter in foil. The Bacon, sausages and black pudding were also excellent. There was a shift change in the middle of lunch but both ladies were extremely pleasant and helpful. It is easier to stop if you are heading to the west country as it is on that side of the road but either way, we will definitely be calling in again.

I've visited this farm shop about 3 times. Best homemade cakes on the planet, and the free range chickens they sell are second-to-none. I've always found the lady who works there, good-humoured and pleasant.Just to reference one reviewer that had a problem with their dog - quite frankly if you have the dumb audacity to bring a dog into a food shop, then you deserve short sharp shrift. If I was the owner, I would have chased you out with the biggest marrow I could find from the shop shelves. Will be coming back to pick-up a chook soon (cheaper and tastier than Waitrose) :)

What a great little place to stop off and buy some food for your holiday (farm fresh, delicious) or have a quick bite. If it is the intention of this farm shop to make customers feel like a nuisance then job well done. Whilst spending a lovely weekend near Stonehenge, we were recommended to this little farm shop for some local produce for a BBQ. The shop itself was very nicely presented in a lovely village. The woman running it however appeared rather rude. We were not greeted when we entered, and upon enquiring about purchasing some burgers and sausages, we were met with an abrupt and sharp 'no!' as they needed to be made and would take at least an hour and that's if she started making them then (I got the feeling that she did not wish to do this). This would not have been a problem as were staying locally and like to support local businesses. However the rude, abrupt and unhelpful tone of the woman serving completely put us off. Making us feel embarrassed, as though we'd asked something very unreasonable. The lady did apologise as we left, but it did not feel sincere enough to make us feel as though we were not a nuisance! Big shame, will not go here again.

This is a lovely village shop that you can buy locally produced free range meat, chicken, veg, home made pies, cakes and more....they sell their own beef and pork, they bake pies in the kitchen inside the shop. It really doesn't get better than that! I live in a nearby village and I've been going to Berwick Farm Shop for a few weeks now. I'm so pleased that I've discovered this place! Every time I go there I always feel very welcome by all the staff, especially the lady who runs the shop. She always takes time to talk to me about their products and answers all my questions. No fancy names and pretentiousness, just a real farm shop.Try the steak pie, you won't regret it!

On our return from our holiday in Devon we had tried on at least 3 occasions to stop off at the side of the road as my mother wanted some fresh eggs and other local produces. As we approached Stonehenge we saw the signs on the A303,"Berwick farm shop 1 mile"....so we followed. The farm shop is situated in the pretty village of Berwick St James,a short drive from Amesbury/Stonehenge.We located the farm shop up a bumpy track and parked in the very small car park.My mother entered as my wife and i walked her dog further up the track. On our return our dog slightly entered the shop,i honestly thought nothing to it as we had been welcomed everywhere in the past week, pubs, shops and more. The lady serving gave me the filthiest look ordering to me "get the dog out now"......i did but i asked her to put up a no dog sign as there were dog bowls outside. She ignored me and continued to serve my mother. As we put the fruit and veg and eggs into the boot of our car we noticed that some of the bananas were turning black.....we did not bother as i believe it could have turned awkward. It seems a pity that little places like this(which had a small seating area and serves teas/coffees/cakes etc)can be rude towards their customers......i honestly believe she did not even notice how she came across, she should be going out of her way to give good service,we acknowledge that we were in the wrong......just ask us nicely is all i ask.Never again...visited 22nd oct 2016.
