Mediocre, overpriced cookies that I can best describe as Mrs. Field's;totally resting on their previous year's laurels. Nothing special, they are OK in a pinch but there are better. See what happens when you get too famous for your own good.

Plusieurs parfums de cookies mais attention, vraiment très gras! Découverte mitigée, à tester pour se faire sa propre opinion

The cookies are delicious. The milk chocolate praline and milk chocolate chunk are my fav. The only negative point is the staff. The 2 waitress were not welcoming, when you ask a question they seemed to be.. annoyed. In deed it was my first test of ben cookies. Also they have no explained the different sale option. A bit dissapointed about this point, even if the cookies are(once again)very good! At least there are some other ben cookies stores in town. You can check on the web easily!

They are good but not mind blowing. It's clear that they use high quality products but I would prefer softer cookies. It would be great if they could warm their cookies before handing them out but after making that request they informed me it is not possible.

Cookies are amazing. Biscoff Lotus flavour was my favourite - However I wish they could make the size smaller , can't finish the cookies in one ago.

They make a point of ordering these cookies in every Friday in my new place of work for an end of week meeting, and to say I was blown away would be an understatement. Quite literally went back after work and stocked up for the weekend. So soft, so packed with flavour - just wonderful! I'll be packing on the pounds for Christmas and Ben's will be the root cause.

These cookies- well, what can I say? These cookies are like nothing you've ever had before. Ben's Cookies using chunks instead of chips really does make all the difference. These cookies are addictive, we ended up getting them two days in a row. If you want a treat, try the Cookie Monster- your choice of cookie with gelato on top. It's a match made in cookie heaven. There are so many cookie flavours to choose from, you're really spoiled for choice! The gelato is light and the hot cookie with the freezing cold gelato? it's perfect. Whether you go here or to the one in Covent Garden (we visited both) the experience is the same.

Ben's Cookies have been around since 1983 when it started as a small stall in Oxford and I think the lady who founded the store is a writer and named it after her son Ben, and the boy in the logo is him too. When we first tasted them decades back in London near Bond Street we were nuts about them and forgot about the butter and sugar and all the calories packed in. Every time we left London we had to buy a whole tin back, and every time someone from the UK came over to visit us we would request some Ben's cookies packed in. That round red tin always meant some nice treats all the way from the UK. Now when we are in the UK we still want a Ben's cookie but not as crazy as before cos we now think they could cut down on the sugar as we have found them a bit too sweet. Better still if they could cut down a bit of the butter or use something less fattening as a substitute as the bag often leaves a big blot of grease afterwards and this does not look too desirable, these days when people are more health conscious. We want to enjoy something without feeling too guilty afterwards. Having said that, Ben's Cookies are still one of the best " homemade" commercial cookies , cos I know they still make the original cookie dough fresh daily in Oxford, and then transported to each store where they have an oven to churn out fresh baked ones throughout the day. How they do that elsewhere outside the UK I don't know cos Ben's Cookies have branched out to the Middle East, I think they have one store in New York and some in Japan e.g. Tokyo, plus Singapore, Seoul and Bangkok. Their famous cookies have over a dozen flavours and the top ones are with chocolate, apparently the founder is nuts about chocolate (LOL) e.g. milk chocolate chunk ; dark chocolate; double choc with nuts ; white chocolate chunk ; triple chocolate chunk ; double chocolate chunk; milk chocolate & peanut butter. Then there is white chocolate & macadamia & cranberry with white chocolate, which I think would be a lot better if it was dark chocolate as we all know white chocolate isn't chocolate at all but just faking it and loaded with unwanted calories, jeopardising good food like cranberries and mac nuts. Other flavours they have are praline ; and fruity ones like orange ; coconut; lemon. My personal fave is raisin and oatmeal but I think they could do with a bit more raisins and less added sugar cos the raisins are sweet enough on their own. They also have ginger cookies but not enough ginger to give much zing. All in all, Ben's cookie is still a nice treat every now & then esp when they have stalls in convenient places like Covent Garden, South Kensington and Kensington High Street. They also sell sorbet, milk shakes, tea, coffee and other soft drinks.

Last evening we went as a group friends 9 in total to the restaurant. The quality and the quantity of food was poor. When we complained to one of the member of stuff, asking to see the manager or chef, no one came to us to explain or apologise! Definitely Won't go back ever again. ☹
