Great food and very good prices. Staff were very friendly

The burger was ok.But the chicken wings were too too salty .my wife eat one piece and she started vomiting after 5mins .we can’t eat anymore. It was absolutely rubbish. Please refund. I was trying to contact you by phone. I cant get your number.

Had my first order there couple of weeks ago and the food was lovely. Boneless box - Chicken strips were really good and popcorn chicken too and 2pc chicken. And today ordered the same and food was just right. Did not have time to take pictures, as I was too hungry and needed to stuffed my face fast 🤣 Hopefully on next order I will snap a few.

Avoid this takeaway like the plague. Walked in saw the place wasn’t clean, tables were filthy and so was the counter. Ordered a two piece chicken and chips, but the owner charged me £4.99 for the meal when he had posters advertising the same meal for £3.45 as a lunch time meal and the set price had a time between 11am and 5pm, but yet he wouldn’t allow this considering it is false advertising. Once I got my meal, I sat and ate it. Took my first bite and wasn’t expecting anything good, but I ate one piece of chicken which put me off with how greasy, dry it was, but I should’ve known this when you could tell the chicken had been sat in the hot hold for hours, which is where they keep chicken warm once it has been cooked. Legally the meat should only been in there for an hour under health safety guidelines. With in half hour I began to have stomach ache and I do believe is from the chicken I had ate. It’s now been 24 hours since I had that meal and I’m constantly running back and forth to the bathroom. So please stay away from this place unless you want food poisoning and a bad stomach, absolutely filthy place.

Quite literally the worst place in Leicester to eat; I ordered a chicken strips meal, the chicken was watery on the inside (you can literally see how moist and raw it is) and not cooked well, the fries were absolutely disgusting, I think it had something to do with the oil they were using. All in all, I sent back my meal to the kitchen as I almost threw up when I tried eating. A horrible experience. On a positive note, the staff were kinda nice, which is a shame due to their bad food.

I went into this store and ordered a large donner kebab X2 and there largest family meal for myself and family .. the kebab was in a little burger box and dry no salad no sauce and a dry bit of bread with dry kebab slapped ontop .. and too top it off i took a big bite into a peace of chicken too look and see it was raw and had too spit it out will never recommend even too my worst enemy ........

Driving back from London so dropped in for a break after Googling for Halal food outlets. Asked if its ok to park outside, they didnt have a clue🤷🏻‍♀️ Useless order taking system, girls on desk hardly spoke English. Speaking in own language, how very rude. Awaiting my change , she was giving money to the other girl behind the till, not me!!! Food came, what can only be described as average. Burger looked like it had been sat on, the fries were stale and warm at best. Taste wasnt great either. I was going to complain but just ate quickly and wanted to get out of there. Place wasnt that clean or fresh, nothing seemed to be freshly cooked and ready to go🤔 Next time will go to DALLAS Chicken opposite as this looked much cleaner and better value. Ok place if youre on a student night out, totally wasted and need some food otherwise AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

First time visit. So, I've no history with this 'chicken' shop. It's fairly average and no frills. Food was good, filling and tasty but the fried chicken was 'lethargic'. No atmosphere, and the service took longer than I felt that it should've taken. This may explain why, despite it being lunchtime on my visit, the shop only had me as patron.

went in too order my boyfriend food asked for a chicken strip burger with no salad just mayonnaise x2 clearly the women didn’t speak a word of english because when she handed me the burger i asked if it had no salad she then gave me a confused look as if i didn’t just tell her that. dirtiest look i have seen and i do not appreciate it. she then infront of me wipes the salad off of my burger with her fingers rather than making me a fresh one i then leave the shop after being stared at with an unpleasant look to find that there was only 1 burger in the bag after i asked and paid for 2. who ever this women is needs to be fired immediately the hygiene is not great. if i am to come into this shop again and see this women i will not be happy and nice words will not be said !!!!! this was tuesday the 9th at 12:40pm

Probably the worst chicken I've EVER tried. Tasted like reheated over fried anorexic Chicken. Ordered 3 pieces expecting a KFC similar experience and instead ended up leaving it . It tasted just awful and leathery.

I have a chicken wrap from bennys it was so delicious best wrap I’ve ever had In my life .the chips was so delicious aswell only had to wait 10 mins which was a good things I recommend this place 100 per cent never being to a place as good as this

Dirty bennys at the end of the night cause nowhere else is open. Feel so disgusting after eating bennys but theres no other choice

The chicken strips, wraps, chips (fries), were tasty and freshly made. A welcome snack after a long night of partying. Due to the time of night; unfortunately, it does mean that there's quite a mixture of people in there. Not all of them are pleasant. Many get frustrated with the speed of service, so raise their voice and create bad feeling. The service and behaviour of the staff I saw, was impeccable. They seemed to be accurate with orders, and dealt with many different types of customer characters in a professional and polite manner but! ... The kitchen/staff assisted to struggle to meet the demands of customers. Given that they are making a tidy turnaround at that time on what is probably the best night of the week (I think it was Saturday). I think they should consider either employing another staff member, or having a more efficient or higher capacity fryer situation. They are stunting profits and annoying customers with slow service. I suspect the known issue drives regular customers away, at busy times. I ordered 4 meals and had to wait around half an hour. That might be ok in a traditional restaurant at a busy time, but it's not acceptable for fast food at 1AM.

Awful food and hygiene safety, food warmed in microwave. Pay for value, however detrimental effect on health from consuming. FOOD POISONING GALORE, BEWARE!

Horrible chicken had one bite and threw it away had it not been 3 am never would have gone here store smells horrible inedible food wish they’d get a hygiene rating check the store would be shut down only spent 3 pounds luckily but I lost brain cells eating the food couldn’t help but to throw up does not taste like chicken at all DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SICK (not to mention half the reviews they have are fake just take a good look place should be shut down)

the customer service here was absolutely terrible, they got my order wrong and refused to correct it. the staff were incredibly rude and would lie about what they had available. i asked for simple peri peri salt which i was told by one member of staff that i could have, another member came and refused to let me use it. the store was incredibly dirty and we had to wait an hour for chicken and chips..

A lot of good reviews I’m unsure why, I have eaten here twice the food is inedible! I had chicken burger, chips and a drink. The chips tasted stale. The chicken was absolutely horrendous both times. I didn’t enjoy eating it. Very chewy and no flavour. If you want some good fast food walk further down the road to Slam Burger much better tastey food and very friendly staff.

I'm genuinely being very generous with 3 stars. For the following reasons Food was freshly cooked(although I really wanted it ready from the ovens behind counter) Food tasted lovely, very hot. Bad points: Place was absolutely empty yet every single table was completely covered with trays of eaten food, bones, boxes etc, and I mean it when I say every single table. The man who served me, albeit polite, sat on a stool or something behind the oven glass containers instead of cleaning. I asked several times and gave up just asking for a single spicy burger, instead got a capri sun and chips.. No where to put rubbish, or tray. I should add this was on a Sunday late afternoon

Food here is bad, the burger was dry, bun was fallen apart, wings have been out too long, strips were not fresh, almost a tenner, not worth a visit.

One of the best fried chicken takeaways i have tasted in a long time. Its comparable to KFC or dare i say it, even better :)

Their dishes are good but they need to work more on the presentation of the dishes. Crispy chicken is nice and special but the present it with fries together in one small stacked box! When you open it you will find that everything mixed! With the oil nature of the crispy and fries then you will loose the real taste of the fried chicken. Their dinning tables and area need to be clean regularly and some of tables need to be changed. I hope I will be more satisfied when I give the restaurant another visit in the feature.

Death behold!!! These idiots that can hardly understand English will rip you right off selling their raw bird meat at extortionate prices... And they will also forget to give you your drink when ordering a meal. Their chips were cooked last weak, that's how cold and soggy they were. Rubbish quality... Catch your own chicken you will do a much better job rigging it's neck and frying it yourself.

Popped in late evening on the off-chance. Super-quick service, fresh and really hot! The chicken fillet burger was top notch. Crisp and tasty, with a delicious sauce and salad. Chips were perfect. Really crispy. Best of all, it was very inexpensive too! Full marks.

6 wings, chips and drink for a 5er 🙄 wings were average and the drink was warm. No napkins given. You can get the same from Maryland with a burger for 50p less, def wouldn't go back. Shouldn't have gone there at all after I walked in and seen how scummy looking it is in there.

Very slow service without even basic acknowledgement that you exist. There was one person prepping a large number of pre-orders / deliveries and he wasn't interested in those waiting to be served, even to say he would just be a minute as he was busy. The wait for food was quite long at which point it was just plonked on the counter and off you go. The food itself was smothered in mayo salad which I didn't want and wasn't great quality but by that point I just wanted out of there so I didn't bother taking it back. Price was not excessive and after a night out you're unlikely to be too bothered or even notice the quality but if youre sober enough to read this, you can do better.

The fillets felt like wings in terms of hotness and they had traces of blood them. And parts of the skin of the chicken had a rubbery texture with no taste. Chips were fine if a bit too hot.

I got food poisoning from the 1 extra toenail I asked for a SIM card but I got a bank card. Not happy with the chocolate donuts there was a hole in the middle and the chocolate was not fair trade. The chicken was not halal and I could tell as it was cooked with the same oil they cooked beef in. It took 48 hours for my order so I decided to go kip then I woke up and they had placed raw meat on my fivehead.(the manager is a halal goldfish)

Bennys’s at Granby street Leicester, Best place so far that is open late late night. Loved the chicken wings and absolutely out of this world is their chicken Tika burger. The offers are amazing and new staff and the new management is real good.

Benny sorts you out after a heavy night in town with the lads. The chicken is top-notch and the fries are on point. The customer service is outstanding, especially when benny opens especially for you. The number 7 is definitely the highlight of the menu and even better when you have two. I can not recommend benny's Chicken highly enough
