Premium food poisoning at a premium price. Also, the restaurant had a lunch deal sign at the entrance (which I noticed on our way out), but the waiter didn't inform us of that option ensuring that we'll pay the higher al la carte price. Reply to owner: I'm a genuine customer, I work on old Street and we had a team lunch at your place. I was not the only team member to get food poisoning either. And yes, I do travel quite a bit.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I had the best service - Usman was so kind and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing - hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I ordered the butter chicken with pillow rice and naan. Everything was super fresh, and I could really taste all the delicious herbs and spices. The chicken was incredibly tender - it was truly out of this world. I highly recommend this place! Thank you again, Usman and everyone at BTL for your wonderful service. I’m definitely coming back

Lovely local curry. Big favorites were the lamb chop starter and lamb curry. Being welsh I know I thing or too about lamb and it was cooked to perfection. Usmans service was very nice. Will be back to try more of their delicious homely food.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting “Bengal Tiger” for the first time, and I would definitely recommend it. The food was great, perfect for anyone who enjoys an authentic Indian cuisine. The prices are very affordable, especially considering the generous portion sizes, and the restaurant’s spacious venue. Whether you’re dining alone, with friends or family, or celebrating with a large party, “Bengal Tiger” is a great choice. The beautifully designed interior adds to the experience, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Amin for his outstanding service - he was attentive, professional, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my lunch. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great value for your money and DELICIOUS food.

Visited this place with colleagues after work. Decided to try a different place. We will never be going back. The food was horrendous and the waiters seemed like they’ve never seen women before. Stay away!

This restaurant, claiming to be Indian, is clearly misrepresenting itself. The excessively oily food tastes distinctly Bangladeshi, not Indian. Service is slow, even when empty. I have receipts to prove my multiple visits, countering their habit of dismissing negative reviews. Avoid if you want authentic Indian food.

Atmosphere was cool but the food and service left a lot to be desired. The food was not authentic lacking flavor. If you want Indian cuisine do not come here. The waiter was starring at us the entire time and we felt rushed to finish our food although it was a half hour before closing.

Nice papadums and accompaniment dishes, great red lentil tarka dhal and garlic naan bread. The all-to-common giant bottle of mineral water was more than one person needs. Great restaurant and friendly staff!

Food was fantastic and service was top notch! Our waiter, Usman, was incredibly friendly and recommended great dishes for our group of 5. We especially enjoyed the Prawn Biryani and the Tandoori Cocktail Masala dish. Definitely recommend!

I visited with my friend yesterday and let me tell you something, the food 10 out of 10! Had the lamb Rogan Josh with garlic and cheese naan. A simple meal which was well made and absolutely delicious. I fully recommend!

Lovely food! However at the start the service was a lil bit weird but Usman was a lovely host and I will be back again.

Usman treated us so special, food was excellent. Staff was good. Restaurant opened at 5.30pm and wouldn't let us in before, our booking was at 5.30pm and we were told not to be late.

Service could be better when we arrived at 5:20 wasn’t allowed in till 5:30 when table was booked But Usman waiter made it all better with his service

Good option for Indian Cuisine in the city center. Close to the old gate tube station and good bus connectivity... I had a team dinner with my colleagues and it was above average for Indian food. Service is a bit slow which leads to 3 of my colleagues missing the main course... In the drinks also had limited stock disappointing ladies with us... Food is low in spicy end for Indian taste.. if you need medium spicy as per Indian taste go for high spicy option with them.... Overall average experience..

I’m a tourist from New York, found this restaurant on Instagram looks like they have very decent Indian food. I don’t know much about Indian cuisine but this restaurant impressed me. Highly recommended and the service from Usman was great!

Great service. Great decor no doubt about that. On the other hand , The food was not as flavoured and spiced as expected from Indian Cuisine. Some other comments mentionned the fact that it was too sweet and that’s true. The food is not bad but not worth the price for the taste and the portion. (Paying 3£50 for plain steamed rice..)

We had dinner here during our city trip, based on the reviews. The rating is justified. We had a delicious meal here. The price-quality ratio is also good. In terms of service, they are sometimes a bit over-enthusiastic, but that may be part of the culture and is only well-intentioned. Thank you Uman and colleagues.

Really lovely meal, express lunch menu was great!!

The service was generally excellent, and the staff member who assisted us was good. However, we made our reservation through first table , which provides a 50% discount on food. While we were pleased with the discount, we requested to have the optional service charge removed. Unfortunately, Amin was unprofessional and extremely rude, raising his voice and insisting that the charge could not be removed, despite it being optional. His behaviour was disappointing, and as a result, we would be hesitant to return.
