Bengal Tiger - Indian Restaurant - Old Street, Shoreditch - EC1 in Islington

This was my second time eating an Indian cuisine and I've got to say it was really tasty. The service was great, they were very helpful and accommodating. I will definitely recommend it.

We had delicious meal and the staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations from the menu.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Also the restaurant was elegant but with a casual feel and good ambiance. My husband said he had the best cappuccino in London. I highly recommend you go if you are in the London area.

I live in Manchester and came to visit London for the day. Stopped by Bengal Tiger for dinner because one of my friends recommended it to me. The food was fantastic, especially the chicken Tikka masal. But what was even better than the food was the service as all the staff were lovely staff. Shaz and samad specifically were exceptional, they provided amazing service and even chatted with me abit as I came to the restaurant alone. Would definitely recommend Bengal Tiger for anyone craving authentic Indian food and an amazing service.

The food was absolutely delicious. This is the most authentic Indian food I have eaten in the UK, including the atmosphere and decorations. We ordered chicken tikka masala, lamb byriani and cheese nan. Abu Usman and other staff's service was friendly and attentive too. I will definitely come back!

SO GOOD! Like proper nice Indian, soo fresh and tasty. The staff were all lovely and attentive, Samad was the star. Do not miss this Bengal delight, will deffo be coming back.

I was visiting London and wanted to experience ‘authentic Bangladeshi’ food. After google search, I arrived at Bengal Tiger. The atmosphere was great and the waiter welcomed me warmly. I ordered mixed platter as appetizer and spiced monk fish as main course. The appetizer was great - the chicken and beef Kababs were tender and juicy. The monk fish exceeded my expectations - very flavorful and spicy.

The Lamb Jalfrezy is delicious! Spicy without losing any of the flavour. Great place for a warm late-night meal. Will definitely come a second time.
