This is a really good take away place for Indian food. The dishes are fairly priced and very importantly they give you plenty of food in your order. The food is also very nice tasting and neither too spicy nor too plain. Definitely recommended

I had the most amazing simple food. All fresh. I was going to take away but they have 2 tables and I eat it in. Warm, tasty, ..... highly recommend

Food good quality as always- however deducting the usual 5 stars as the Lamb Phall had very low amount of meat compared to previous orders. Tasted great- but please make sure meat is decent amount compared to the delicious sauce. All else to a good standard! Keep it up and keep improving...

I’m quite disappointed tonight, because usually the food is spot on - the chicken tikka was burnt, the vegetable curry was unusually sweet, there was hardly any chicken in the biryani which always happens, always the smallest amounts cut up into tiny pieces and my poppadom was broken.

So I ordered from here thinking it was another restaurant. It came and it was absolutely amazing could fault any of the food and definitely had great portion sizes & reasonably priced.

the food was ok but annoyed by the half a tandoori chicken. It was two legs instead of a leg and breast and it is annoying that it is shown as a half a tandoori chicken but it is basically just two legs. I might come off ranting but the main point is when someone is buying half a chicken they want half a chicken not two legs. I will say the food was good just feel cheated on the half a tandoori chicken as this seems to always happen when I order from here.

The foods taste very bad. Finally we have to dump it in garbage. I won’t recommend to buy food from this shop. Worst experience

This is a small Indian takeaway and the best in the Islington area. It caught me by surprise as I was walking past it. It had some hand made signs with some specials of the day. The two specials were a Tandoori Lamb or Chicken Tikka meal or a Curry of the Day meal. Both Meat and Vegetarian options are available on the deal but after stepping into the store, it smelled amazing and immediately went for the Meat. I had a Chicken Tikka Tandoori meal option, that came with salad and a portion of rice, they gave me a Poppadom with a homemade dip that was incredible, the meal came with an option of Meat ot Vegetable Samosa but I asked the Boss man if I can swap it for an Onion Bhaji and he didn't disappoint. I ordered an additional Lamb Madras and Nan. All the food was incredible and I'm adding it to my list of great Indian food in London. The place mainly does takeaways but they have some small tables to sit in. I sat in and they were very accommodating. Highly rate this place.

Didn’t like the food at all. It was too too hot. No salad, or poppadoms free. Or mint sauce.

Was recommended, Really disappointed Monsoon biryani problem finding the meat and a prawn, same sauce for all curry including prawn jalfrezi prawns cut in half and rubbery, containers half filled, vegetable curry potato and onion, most ly onion. Expect a poor review when you serve food like this. Poppadoms crushed like bag of crisps only enjoyable thing was Peshawari Naaan. This is not Indian food it's slops. Never again.

Amazing food as always- great spice balance. They phoned to check on which dishes I would like extra chilli in(as I added this request)- that's top class customer service! Generous portions, consistent, polite and efficient delivery person -will be ordering again soon- thanks again Monsoon!

Several times ordering from Monsoon. Order direct and through the app. Not value for money. Food is okay but not great. Not consistent. Quality, dependent on which chef is cooking. The quantity of food is very poor. Minimal amount of meat/fish given. Always cut into the smallest pieces, with the majority made up of sauce. Restaurant staff/manager are nice and will apologise and say tell them for next order and they will add more or make right. This is good customer service but shouldn't need to do this and keeps happening. Money is money and when you spent it you expect to recieve what you paid for. Not to have to wait until you spend again. If consistent with quantity and quality would use, but very off putting:(

Curry’s are delicious. The Saag paneer was a little strange with lots of coconut but that aside the rest was very tasty.

Wrong item sent ordered mushroom Bhaji and was sent some sort of rice, apart from that the food was great and arrived really hot

Not sure why I could not continue orders as before- the restaurant has been refreshed on Just Eat. So, ok- I will also refresh in my comments and start from scratch also. I am disappointed that I added specifics of the entrance for delivery and they were ignored. Please read these instructions. Food was ok. Accurate and hot.

The food was 25 minutes late and extremely cold and the rider said he had the wrong postcode. I was not impressed at all as I wanted hot food. I was also hungry and do not reheat take away. My meal was ruined

Exceptionally sweetened dishes. We got a takeaway. The aloo saag tasted like it had about 4 teaspoons of sugar. Along with the butter chicken, and predictably the Korma. Butter chicken did not resemble recipes I have followed. Bhana lamb was much better, but the stock was not great, I could taste something instant. The Indian people I know in London would be a tad shocked what Londoners give 5 stars. This was felt by 5 out of 6 of us eating, including my 14 yr old who had the korma. We could not finish the spinach.

Excellent taste and quantity of food.

Not my favorite style of Indian food. Was very sugary sweet and saucy with little meat. Not sure if this is just British style Indian food but it’s unlike anything I am used to.

I have had takeaway a few times from here now and honestly everytime it's been absolutely delicious, prices are really good, the portion sizes are really good, honestly the food is absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend that people try Monsoon Indian Takeaway for themselves. Delivery driver was really polite as well. Great service!

Garbage, basically copying the logo and name of another nearby restaurant in Dartmouth park. Infuriating as you can order this rubbish by mistake. Just get your own logo and make your own way.

I tested positive for Covid earlier on in the week and the 2 curries I've ordered from Monsoon this week both made me feel alive again. So fresh and tasty with loads of garlic in the king prawn Bhuna. I have ordered from Monsoon for about 7 years now and have never had an issue. 10% discount when you order from their own website. Polite staff, swift service and fresh delicious food. Thanks for contributing to my improved health.

I've been walking past Monsoon for years and it always smells amazing. The reviews I've read are mostly glowing so I finally decided to try them out as a little boxing day treat and I couldn't be more disappointed. Firstly, when my order arrived the rice was missing so I had to wait for a second delivery guy to bring it whilst the rest of the food got cold. When I finally got to eating, I was severely underwhelmed. The lamb curry had next to no flavour and zero heat and around 60% of the meat was chewy. The mixed starter was decent but the rest of the meal was on par with a ready meal. Best part of the meal was genuinely the poppadom. SUCH a let down. My regular Indian takeaway is a hundred times tastier AND lower in price. 3/10

Simply the best Indian Takeaway in North London. The food is so good! The staff are so respectful and friendly it’s like family. I’ve been ordering with them for about 3/4 years they recognise my voice as soon as I call which is great lol! They never take long to deliver. You can’t go wrong!! Been using this Indian takeaway now for 15 years now and will never use another. I would recommend the chicken madras. The staff are very friendly and never waited more than a hour for delivery. Would recommend monsoon to everyone

OMG WOW! The service is impeccable. The guys are wonderful there! I'm an annoying customer and keep calling and adding things and they're so sweet about it and gave me a discount! So lovely wow. This is our go-to indian take away - we've been ordering here since 2013. Food is tasty, delivery is efficient and the staff is amazing. Clearly, you can't be disappointed - and if for any reason you do, you won't be upset more than half a sec. These guys care and know how to make their customers feel great.

Best Indian takeaway in North London.

We order probably twice a week which seems quite indulgent, however the food is fabulous and the team at monsoon are so friendly and just really nice people.

I was a bit sceptical ordering the first time but the food and service is impressive. Great food with lots of flavors. Friendly staff. The place seems busy.
