Staff are very friendly professional when it comes to serving the customers from the minute you walk in the door!! Food is 10/10, very enjoyable atmosphere, music is kept low to allow for comfortable talking, staff are attentive and ensure you have a glass of whatever you’re drinking refilled without asking. Mabz our server was great, friendly very proficient! Will deffo come again

Absolutely amazing meal. Visited on a Sunday, had a lunch Thali set (Oli’s set) and a 2 course express lunch set meal. Everything was remarkably tasty, generous portions, beautifully prepared, efficienct and caring service. Will definitely be back!

Super authentic Indian food. I had the lamb from Burma, delicately tender and was pleasantly surprised by the slight spiciness. Unfortunately, it is far too loud for a relaxed dinner, which could be due to the space. The service is super attentive and accommodating.

Excellent, authentic food! We had biryani and a Bengali style fish. Everything was bursting with flavor. Papia was warm and welcoming. Very highly recommended!

The food was very good. However, it was a little too mild for my taste. Still, it was very authentic. But I'm used to something stronger here. The highlight was the naan bread. The service was excellent. The waiters were very accommodating. One drawback, however, was the noisy atmosphere. This made it difficult to have a proper conversation with your partner.

The whole place smelled like mothballs. So much so my clothes smelled of this the morning after. The food was ok. Small portions but not awful. The staff were great. It was very very busy and people were squished in together. The smell was and needs sorting. The staff were friendly.

I'm so glad my friend introduced us to The India (2). She's been here countless times, and now I see why. Getting a discount through The Fork was a nice bonus too! We were looking for a dinner spot on a Saturday night, and this place turned out to be perfect. At first, I actually thought it was closed with the dim interior lighting and lack of outdoor signage made it look that way but Google said it was open, so we gave it a go. We started with poppadoms, which came with four generous and dips. Most places only offer three, so this was a nice touch. The starters arrived next, and honestly, they were so well-portioned that they could have been mains, just add some naan or rice. By the time our actual main courses arrived, we were already stuffed, but the food was too delicious to leave behind, so we did our best to finish everything. To top it all off, our server was incredibly kind and even offered us a free round of drinks! It's such a thoughtful gesture. We'll definitely be coming back to The India again!
