Bengal Tiger in Aberdeenshire

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a while. Had another excellent takeaway tonight from the bengal tiger. After a recent takeover it’s back with a bang. An excellent chicken tikka jalfrezi with lovely onion rice My missus also had vegetable korma. plenty fresh veg and sauce and she raves about it. Previous owners were diabolical with veggie dishes. Perfect takeaway right on our doorstep won’t hesitate now to invite friends round for a takeaway.

Crap service. Twice now ive ordered took about 2.5 to 3 hours to come. Useless place avoid. And order wrong one time. Ill never be back

Habiendo crecido en Birmingham, tratar de encontrar un buen curry aquí no siempre es fácil, a menudo nadando en aceite y sin sabor. La calidad de lo que teníamos era realmente fantástica, grandes sabores atrevidos, auténtica mezcla de chiles y verduras al estilo indio y la carne también era muy buena. ¡Ambos discutimos quedarnos en la zona nuevamente solo para esta comida para llevar! Puedo recomendar el Garlic Chilli Balti y mi esposa el Rogan Josh. Mi Keema Naan también fue un verdadero Keema Naan, una delicia. Las personas que dicen que es caro en las reseñas deben reconocer la calidad de los ingredientes que lo componen, ¡que valen cada centavo!

Comida ordenada para 3. Agregaron algunos artículos para asegurarse de que tuviéramos suficiente comida. Eran los 47. Cuatro platos principales eran básicamente el mismo pegote y cebollas con un tipo diferente de carne. Los entrantes fueron congelados y luego fritos, calientes y empapados de grasa. No es una experiencia agradable.

Not my first time here but definitely the worst, usually get a madras but went for the tikka masala tonight! Very disappointed to say the least! Chicken wasn’t great and the sauce tasted funny, nearly £20 for a masala, naan, rice and 4 poppadoms, ridiculous price and there was hardly any chicken! It’s actually put me off which is a shame because I used to love it! If I do go back I Definitely won’t be getting the masala I’ll stick to the madras!

Had a takeaway from here several times. Set meal for 2 you get loads for your money. Will be back again no problem

Tried to order online. Didn’t work after going through the process of selecting all our dishes and trying to check out. Then called in and told online not working - would be easy enough to put a message on the site. Seems from reviews this has been going on quite a while. No apology. Therefore placed order over the phone and told to collect in half an hour. Arrived on time and waited a further 20 minutes for food. Paid, and the cost was now £5 more than shown online. Got home and unfortunately missing an item ordered, and food needed to be heated up despite us only being 2 minutes away. Lovely rices, naan etc but Mains we’re fairly lacking in authenticity. Tasty, but not at all what we were hoping for based on dishes we’ve had elsewhere, so will have to find new favourites at this take-away. One concern on arriving is that on top of being an Indian, Balti and specialist takeaway as per the name and website, they now also serve pizzas, kebabs and items you wouldn’t associate with such a takeaway.

The food here is excellent. If we want takeaway Indian we do a 20 mile round trip to come here because it is the best food for miles around (and we have tried them all). I would highly recommend if you fancy some Indian grub then come out to the Bengal tiger.....

We regularly get takeaway from this Indian, the food is absolutely brilliant. They have various offers which we have tried and enjoyed, but i highly recommend the Chicken Madras

This is a great take away, I've tasted most of the main dishes and haven't had a bad one yet, my favourite is the Chicken Garlic Shagorana, BEAUTIFUL!, the meal deal for two is great value as well.

Great food, nice staff, fair prices and very much worth it!, just what balmedie needed and always consistent.

Balmedie needed a great Indian takeaway to serve its community and Bengal Tiger was the answer. The food is very tasty, is reasonably priced compared to other takeaways in Aberdeen I’ve tried and has friendly staff. Where the takeaway is located is great as well as it is only a five minute walk from my house. I definitely recommend anyone who has not tried this takeaway to give it a go.

I LOVE this takeaway so much. Lovely staff and fabulous food. Very very good value for money. I go here at least three times a month.

the food is nice and good quality and very very very hot so watch out for burning your fingers when taking food out of bag. Because of its location it is not very busy and therefore has to charge extortionate prices!! or maybe they lose...

Very nice meal and exceptionally polite staff. Very relaxed atmosphere. Located just off Union Street.

I'm not from the area and this takeaway was the only one around. I nearly walked out from the price and then they wanted £1 more fir credit OR debit card! Ridiculous. Perhaps this is normal for the area..... it was nice enough but more...
