I’ve used Bengal Massala for 20 yrs now, never had a bad order. They are my go to place for a curry.

The Naan was burnt and dry, the Paratha was overcooked, tasteless and had the texture of cardboard. the garlic chilli chicken was lacking flavour, we won't be using this restaurant against n under any circumstances, with so many Indian restaurants in the vicinity you'd think they would try harder

Meat tuff the chicken one was nice. Mixed meat was hard chewy

The worst meal I’ve ever had scampi was like rubber and smelt put straight into bin King prawns ya more like mini cheap prawns complained and was told to F off BEWARE KEEP AWAY very very very bad food I am now going to report them to the health department

As always our food arrived on time and was fresh and full of flavour. The deliverer of the order was polite and friendly.

We’ve been ordering from Bengal for years and in the main it’s been awesome. But the last couple of weeks they seem to have been sliding in the wrong direction. Change of chef maybe, but the currys seem to be hit and miss and a bit samey, regardless of what you’ve ordered. We had Garlic & Chilli Balti last night and it was missing two ingredients, prawns and egg, daughter had a balti and described it as pasty! A bit disappointing as the driver said they weren’t busy. Hopefully just a blip.

Had a leaflet through post so give it ago had the 2 person special waa tasty and massive cannot moan will use it again !

We ordered chicken tikka pathia (which we have regularly from this restaurant) but what we got was much hotter (spicier) than normal and lacked the distinctive sweet flavour you normally get with a pathia - suspect it was actually madras? It won’t put us off as normally the food from here is excellent. Just a blip.

Curry was delicious roti was old and cracked like poppadom chicken starters also old and tastless. Shame about starters and roti as curry best I have had.

The masala sauce is beyond salty, it’s inedible. Disappointed as it’s usually spot on

I always order from here as the food up until recently has been superb. This and my last order have had really dry meat as well as meat that’s cooked nicely. The food always tastes wonderful but they need to sort out the dry meat!!!

Always spot on from Bengal Massalla, I am a Chef and usually make all my own food for the family authentic curry included for each Saturday. But sometimes when I am busy I order for the wife and my son from Bengal Massalla when I am not home because I know these guys are consistently good. Well done lads

Honestly the worst and most greasy food ever recieved only the nan bread was ok! My partner threw up within 1/2hr of eating her half on the curry! Absolutely shocking won't use again

The food was delicious, we had a Chicke Korma and Chicken Tikka Pathia, the sauces were delicious, the chicken wonderfully moist. The Nan breads (Peshwari and Keema) was beautifully done and the onion baji starter was so sweet. Will definately order again from them. Even the delivery driver was polite and everything was piping hot on arrival.

I ordered a chana masala expecting a chana masala however I received a masala sauce with chickpeas in it. This is not a chana masala, I was very disappointed with my order due to the dish not being what I have had in other restaurants. The description should state it is masala sauce with chickpeas in not a traditional chana masala. Very unhappy with my order

Unfortunately, the naan bread tasted like soap. The onion Bhaji in the platter was very doughy and you forgot to send me boiled rice (again) don’t think we will order again.

Never had a bad meal from this place and I will always recommend to anyone. We've tried a few different curries too and everything has even amazing! Prices are fair and the staff are always nice and welcoming
