Bels Cafe in Wiltshire

No greeting as I walked up to the door, she was smoking a fag outside. Sullen face while I was choosing what I wanted. When I asked for crispy bacon you'd think I'd of asked for the earth. In all it felt like I was an inconvenience and the atmosphere was so negative. Whilst I was waiting for my order I noticed the signs dotted about warning you not to cross her. I'll never go back there. Shame because the food was ok.

Bell is a lovely lady, her and her husband have made a lovely job with the cabin she works and runs her business from. Very clean place and a really nice cosy atmosphere. Bell is a lovely person and is an amazing cook not greasy food. She uses air fryers. I ordered a sausage egg and bacon sandwich and a portion of chips. It was honestly one of the best roadside meals I’ve ever had. Jordan from Hartlepool, Class one driver.

Great pitstop,open from 6am which is good for early commuters,can phone in advance for takeaways to be ready if short of time,great bacon sarny’s in fresh tiger bread,great proprieter,all in all very good.

Bloody beautiful English breakfast. Not a fan of tomatos or bacon myself but my partner had some tomato and said it was delicious. Very good prices as well so much cheaper and better than most bigger restaurants you'll find these days and friendly service too. Highly recommend

Highly recommend - exactly what I hoped for ✌️ Independently run, friendly staff, respectful atmosphere, affordable and good sized portions of honest cafe food. When I visited on a Wednesday at 10am, it was empty but soon got busy, it's obviously popular for a reason. A big thank you to Bel for a great English breakfast 😌

Love Bels Cooked Breakfast. Best around by far! Sausage and rest is cooked then & there fresh by Bel. (Use to eat breakfast in Weatherspoon's & Morrisons - One won't do fried-bread and latter, mushrooms just uncooked).

A hidden little gem just outside of Trowbridge. The food is fantastic, customer service is fantastic and very competitively priced. We stop here when out on our country dog walk, it's just off the main public footpath heading to Steeple Ashton and the miles upon miles of rolling hills. They serve the best bacon sandwiches around. We've seen people eating the full English breakfasts and these look incredible, backed up by the reviews and pictures by other customers. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

This is only a small roadside cafe, but it is the cleanest one I have ever been in. The food is priced very competitively and cooked to perfection, 5 stars not enough.

Stopped here after an away football match with the daughter. What a lovely little find. The place was really fresh and clean. We had a small breakfast and a sandwich, Which was of excellent quality and was really well priced. The lady who owns it was so helpful and super polite nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to pass again.

Great transport cafe excellent food. Layby gets busy with trucks but that just shows how popular it is.

Excellent venue. Called today just before she closed. Look forward to visiting again. Due mainly to the excellence, but in part the weather, I stayed overnight and enjoyed an early breakfast ahead of a long day of work.

Bels Cafe is a roadside cafe on the A350 near Trowbridge. Sadly the layby is relatively small so only parking for 3 or 4 trucks. A traditional greasy spoon cafe, but nothing is greasy here very clean with obvious high hygiene standards. There is indoor seating available as well as a takeaway service. A traditional bacon sandwich, full English type menu, with steaming hot tea. A welcome break for any trucker,or motorist.

First time visit here, on my way to Westbury, near Bristol, about 5 miles from Westbury, lady cooking & serving the food very friendly and quiet chatty, food was excellent and good value for money, and the pasties were big and meaty 10/10 the best I've ever had. The cafe was also very clean and tidy. If I ever go down this way again, I will try and call in.

Sausage or bacon bap and coffee and a friendly atmosphere

Friendly owner who happily dish up something for my requirements as I don't eat a lot of carbs, food was nice and tea and coffee were hot.

Lovely & clean proper old skool caff, tables inside & out, off main road layby parking, portaloo. No nonsense down to earth food and a good brew, all at a decent price.
