Bellingham Fish Bar in Lewisham

I visited here last month and I was impressed with the food I ordered. I ordered a lamb doner and chips. Great food with reasonable prices! Staff are friendly and polite. I would certainly recommend to take home

This was my first time ordering from here, and sadly it’ll be my last. The fish was a good size for the price, although the batter was soggy and drenched in grease. £4 for a small portion of chips, and they totally looked re-fried. They were deep brown (as opposed to golden), dried out and really only fit for the bin. Gutted as this isn’t too far from me, and I had more hope for it.

Great fish, fresh and perfectly cooked. However the chips were pale and flabby. I had to put them in the air fryer to get them to an acceptable standard. Only thing going for the curry sauce was it was really hot from the microwave.

Riquisimo restaurant para comer el clásico ingles de fish & chips! Lo pueden pedir al plato o en sandwich. Ingredientes muy frescos y muy bien ambientado. Recomiendo!

Ordered on 28.02.25 and the chips were delivered hot, fresh and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Really lovely chips and they sent a few extra items I was not expecting which was a pleasant surprise.
