I'm afraid I was very disappointed with my visit to the restaurant today because of the poor staff experience. I had visited Beleek Pottery restaurant many years ago and had great memories of it. This time, while the food was nice enough, the service was terrible! Three examples - when I arrived there were several people ahead of me trying to alert staff that they were looking for service. I added my voice and someone finally came out removing their ear phones, which I assume was the reason they couldn't hear that people wanted service. I ordered a quiche and salad which was fresh and tasty enough, and a lemon meringue which was OK but obviously several days old with sodden pastry and soft meringue. I asked the waitress if I could wait to take my coffee until I had eaten the main course. When I came back for it, she handed me the same cup of coffee which had been sitting on the counter for at least 10 minutes! I asked for a hot cup which she got for me, but I was astounded that she didn't think to pour me a hot cup of coffee. Lastly, a large group of tourists came in while I was eating, probably from a bus tour and they were queuing up. I had noticed that the top tier of the restaurant was roped off, but despite the arrival of this large group, no one removed the ropes. I also noticed dirty dishes piled up at the hatch not being washed for some reason also. So I would say, these staff need to be trained. They were friendly enough when I spoke with them, but clearly hadn't a clue how to give good service to customers. Given that most of the customers are probably tourists, Beleek Pottery can do better than this in terms of staff training.

The cafe is not large and the food offered is not extensive, but as is usual when we are visiting somewhere, we have a good breakfast and only need a bowl of soup to keep us going. There was a small range of sandwiches, snacks and salads also available.

Bland, mundane & stale food. In such contrast to the pottery. We were expecting something special like the pottery. Instead we got a transport cafe.

We popped into the tea room while in the area, for a quick treat. There were many food options, but we opted for cherry scones and a pot of tea. The scones came with jam and a pot of fresh clotted cream. The scones were tender and quite tasty, and the tea was the perfect compliment. There is a lovely bi-level seating area, with plenty of room between tables. The staff was friendly, and quite prompt in serving us. Definitely worth a stop in.

After touring & shopping, we decided to have a small bite to eat & a hot drink. We all had tea or coffee along with some scones. Everything was good. Of course, it was served on Belleek china. The best part were the views from the windows overlooking the River Erne. Would recommend after the tour if you are in need of refreshment.

Had an awesome surprise 80th birthday celebration for my Mom. Geraldine and her staff could not be more attentive. They helped me organize the menu, the suggestion of the semi private lower ground seating area and even decorated the area with some 80th celebratory items I have given along with some lovely fresh flowers on the tables. What a beautiful thought to have some fresh flowers - a personal touch. The foods were simply awesome; sandwiches were fresh and well filled along with lovely small cakes and not to mention the scones! These were really something else- a talking point in fact amongst Mom's guests. They could find nothing but cherries in the scones.Simply amazing. The venue was relaxed and calming but soon the chat and birthday craic got under way that changed! It was all helped on by the numerous pots of tea and coffee served in the Belleek pottery.A lovely touch to showcase the product. Mom was truly blown away by the surprise gifts she received from the pottery and the staff. How kind and thoughtful to mark her milestone birthday. Overall, the celebration could not have been better. Thanks again to Geraldine and her staff.

A very comfortable tea room within the Belleek Pottery, there is a comprehensive menu with both hot and cold food and a very good selection of cakes. The drinks are served with Belleek pottery , however the place can be quite busy if coaches are in, and queues can be long, but there are plenty of seating. Well worth a visit.

You travel some bumpy back roads to get to Belleek, whether you're on a tour bus or by yourself. The large and imposing pottery is surrounded by parking, and inside, the tours of the works, the video in a theater, the museum collection, the large shop are arrayed for visitors. The cafe is large enough for a busload of visitors to fit in alongside others, and offers a full range of food, hot and cold. Whether you want a full meal or a spot of tea or coffee, soup or a sweet, there's plenty to choose from.

People come to Belleck to buy fine china, it seems a missed opportunity to not provide an experience in the tearooms. Food service is much like a cafeteria and although the scones were fine having table service and the opportunity to see some beautiful china in use would have made it an experience rather than a snack.

It's a nice location with a nice view over the river, but overall the food was average with an average selection and average taste.Traveling with a 3 year old there were few options - quiche and vol-au-vents. For adults there was the ubiquitous nondescript "curry" and other sandwich options. Visited with family recently and was disappointed with the pasty. I had asked for it to be warm and found it had been heated in a microwave! It was a soft, hard-to-cut pasty lacking in seasoning and flavour. The coffee was fine. I should imagine the cakes would have been a better choice and not the worst pasty I have ever tasted! Surroundings were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated.

After a shop in Belleek Pottery we decided to have some lunch in the tearoom. The food was way above my expectation, a selection of clean crisp salad with feta and spinach tart was ordered by my better half while I plumped for the Irish Stew. Sometimes with hot plates the food tends to dry up and becomes unappetising but all of the food served looked freshly cooked and prepared. We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will be returning quite often.

Beautiful china and very pleasant staff, but tea for 2 involved selecting one pack of sandwiches from the 4 packs on display which was then cut up for 2 , one scone which was split in half and provided with pots of cream and several packs of jam, a shame considering we only had one scone to apply it to, half a chocolate eclair and some biscuity type fragments of traybake. This was served on a beautiful tiered display and finished off with 3 bourbons and 3 digestives. The display of cakes and pastries was lovely and the setting is beautiful but £15 for this tea is ridiculous. The rest of the experience is excellent and really worth a visit

We were seated at 3.20 PM and gave our order almost immediately which was for one sandwich and 2 cups of soup. The waitress took our order and 2more tables at the same time. Both of the other tables were served their lunch and we were still waiting. This was 3.50pm . We then observed 3more tables being occupied and served and we were still waiting. My husband went to the counter to check how much longer we had to wait for our order of 1 sandwich and 2 cups of soup. He waited for almost 5 minutes before speaking with a counter assistant who said it would be a few minutes. At this time my husband noticed our 2 cups of soup sitting on the counter and going cold. At this point I told my husband we would have to leave as we had to meet up with family. The assistant offered no apology or anything. So our experience was not good
